Erin was wonderful! We have an older dog and needed help fairly last minute for a trip. She was so responsive and came to visit before we left. She kept our girl happy and loved! We will definitely reach out to Erin for future needs!

About: My love for animals of all kinds began in 6th grade and has only become more expansive as I have continued to care for the pets of my friends and neighbors. My senior dog is almost 18 years young so I am well versed in going above and beyond! As an educator my timing is flexible, especially for summer! I am looking to help families as another Rover.com pet sitter helped us with our senior dog. I will work with your dog's needs so that you are comfortable leaving and know that I am dedicated to keeping your pet happy and healthy. I have a lot of experience with keeping dogs who miss their families happy! As someone who teaches tiny humans I have a lot of experience in building trust. I know that some dogs have anxiety and I look to you in learning your dog's preferences and individual needs!

I really appreciated Brenna caring for my two cats over the busy holiday. It was my first experience using a pet sitter as well as my first time leaving my cats. Brenna was willing to come for an introduction and was very responsive to all communication. She also quickly modified the contract when needed. She seems to have a way with animals and they take to her very well. On the pet cam footage, I could see my cat, Bogey, follow her around - so cute! Would recommend!

About: I've been doing pet service for about a year now. I've owned two dogs since they were puppies, so I'm familiar with how each dog has its own personality. Although I have never owned a cat, I'm very fond of them. I have a part-time job (remote court reporting), so I have a lot of availability. I love both dogs and cats, and enjoy playing with them. I make sure my 6-year old Jack Russel mix, Finn, gets plenty of exercise and socialization. I take long walks in my neighborhood and enjoy taking him to the dog park.

Cassandra took excellent care of our 17 month old yellow lab 3 times a day for almost two weeks. We received updates and photos after each visit, which we really appreciated. Emily looks great and was very happy to see us when we came home, but we think that she will miss Cassandra’s visits.

About: My hubby and I have been caring for dogs for years, from friends’ and family’s pets to repeat pet-sitting clients. We absolutely love getting to know each dog’s unique personality and making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. We have a Cockapoo of our own who is completely spoiled, so we know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family member. Whether your pup loves long walks, playing fetch, snuggling on the couch, or simply having someone nearby, we’ll make sure they feel right at home. We’re also having our wedding in April 2027, so every booking helps us save for our big day while doing something we genuinely love. ❤️ I work in special education, which gives me several mornings and afternoons available throughout the week. During the summer, I’m off every Friday, so I’m available for long weekends starting Friday through Sunday. Because of my schedule, your pet won’t be left alone for long periods. My husband also helps whenever needed, so your dog receives plenty of attention, potty breaks, exercise, and love throughout the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, medications (if needed), walks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. Our home is in a quiet, dog-friendly neighborhood with a spacious backyard and several parks and walking trails nearby. We always supervise outdoor time and never introduce pets to unfamiliar dogs without your permission. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I treat your home with the same respect I would my own and make sure your pet feels comfortable in their familiar environment. You’ll also receive plenty of updates and photos so you can relax knowing your furry family member is in great hands.

Emma was fantastic with our three cats as we took a long road trip to New Hampshire and back over the long weekend. She was very communicative the entire time and made sure that my cat that needs medication and an inhaler had both each day. She also kept us up to date about an accident that my cat had, cleaned it, and left the place spotless for us to come home. Emma is a great pet sitter!

About: I was born and raised in Chester County on a horse farm, where caring for animals was part of everyday life. With over 15 years of hands-on experience, I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals, including horses, goats, sheep, dogs, and cats. I’ve bottle-fed kittens and baby goats, administered medications, cared for senior pets, and looked after animals with special needs. Over the years, I’ve provided pet care for friends, neighbors, and clients throughout the community, many of whom have trusted me with their pets for multiple years. I understand that every animal has unique needs, routines, and personalities, and I take pride in providing dependable, compassionate care that helps both pets and owners feel at ease. I’m currently a college student taking online classes, so I spend most of my time at home. My flexible schedule means I can give your pets plenty of attention throughout the day! I’m available for walks and drop-ins most weekdays and weekends, open for boarding or extended stays. For boarding, I currently accept cats only and provide them with a quiet, comfortable space where they can feel safe and relaxed. For house sitting and drop-in visits, I welcome pets of all sizes and breeds. I always follow your pet’s normal routine and make sure they receive plenty of attention, care, and love while you’re away.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Atglen choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Atglen with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Atglen. On Rover:

  • 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
