“Emily did an excellent job with our older, normally very nervous cat. After a couple of days our cat was following Emily around like she’d always been there. Emily has a kind and calm manner that appealed to our cat. Emily faithfully reported back to us daily and left the cat area totally clean. We have already booked her to cat-sit when we have to travel again in a few weeks. We would highly recommend her.”

“Very communicative and extremely respectful. I can tell that they were extremely passionate about their care for my baby boy and he was well loved. Would strongly recommend and use their services again!”

“Shannon was great! It was a huge weight off my mind, as we left on vacation while one of my fur babies was still having some trouble eating well. Shannon let me know how things were going, asked for guidance on the day he didn't eat much, and had him back up and going by the time we got back. We couldn't hardly tell anyone had been staying at our house when we got back! I recommend her solidly!”

About: I've had dogs and cats nearly my entire life. I've pet-sat for friends, family, and colleagues for the past 10 years. I have past experience working at a vet clinic, grooming department, and an overnight pet boarding facility. I work for myself as a life coach and freelancer, so I create my own schedule and can work from anywhere. I am usually available to prioritize your pet's care in my daily/weekly routine unless I am out of town. I provide my client's pets the love, attention, and care that I give my own pet, and I care for the home as if it were my own. I am attentive to follow any and all instructions given to make the sitting experience as seamless to your pet as possible, and I'm happy to send photos and updates as desired. As someone who's had poor pet-sitting experiences in the past, it's extremely important to me that my client's feel like their pet is in trusted hands.

About: I currently have two dogs and experience with all types and breeds. I work from home and take the dogs for walks/runs on Gearhart beach. I am a very attentive dog mom. I have experience with dog medications, wound car, injections, tick removal. I work from home and am very attentive to dogs and ensuring they are well cared for. I regularly take dogs to the beach which is 1/2 a mile away and they run and play. I have two friendly dogs and a large, but unfenced, yard. Dogs have free reign in the house and can use the furniture and beds.

About: Ive grown up constantly having dogs around me. I’ve taken care of all different kinds of breeds so I’m comfortable with all sizes and most temperaments! My schedule is pretty open. I work later in the day so I’m available 10:00am-1:30pm Thurs-sun and Mon-Wednesday are all available! Having my own dog, I understand how important it is that they are comfortable and taken care of! I have a chihuahua with a very impatient bladder and I’m very blessed to live so close to work so I walk home every two hours to let him outside. We go for walks on the beach, hang out in our fenced back yard, or snuggle on the couch:)

“Kaitlyn was very sweet and even connected with my very stand-offish Rat Terrier within minutes. On time every day and helped provide peace of mind while I am with my husband in the hospital. Thank you!”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life . I grew up with eight and now I have one sweet senior pup of my own. I understand that every dog is different: some need a running buddy, others just need a calm, patient presence. I’m experienced with dogs of all ages and energy levels. I always adjust my care to meet their needs; whether it’s a long walk, a quick run, or a quiet snuggle on the couch. Your dog will be in loving, capable hands. I work full-time during the week, so I’m mostly available Fridays through Sundays for dog walking/running, cat sitting, or check-ins. While I don’t offer overnight stays, I’m happy to provide reliable, loving care during the day. While caring for your dog at your home, I can handle whatever they need: from feeding and refreshing water to walks, playtime, or quick potty breaks in the backyard. I’m also comfortable with crate training routines, administering medications (if needed), and providing lots of attention, affection, and patience; especially for senior dogs or those with special needs. Whether it’s a quick check-in or a few hours of care, I’ll make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved.

About: Hi there, We’re Leigh & Luke — experienced, reliable, and animal-loving sitters. With 15+ years of combined experience in private homes as a nanny, household manager, newborn care specialist, and owner of a domestic staffing agency, I (Leigh) have had the joy of caring for more than just children—pets and entire households have always been a big part of my work. My partner Luke and I are calm, patient, and easygoing — animals naturally seem drawn to us (neighborhood cats often join us on our evening walks!). We deeply understand the importance of maintaining your pet’s routine and ensuring they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. Luke has a true green thumb—at one point, he cared for his own 28 thriving houseplants—and he’s tended to some truly beautiful gardens. Together, we take great pride in being respectful, responsible, and thoughtful guests in every home we enter. In addition to his love of nature, Luke is a creative professional who owns a production company and works as a documentary filmmaker. We work remotely and have flexible schedules, allowing us to commit to sits across the U.S. but preferably in the PNW and California. Since we travel without children or pets, we can easily adapt to new environments and give your pets our full attention. With years of experience caring for private homes, I understand the importance of arriving with a calm, grounded presence—something pets instinctively respond to. We genuinely love connecting with new people and their animals, and we’re fully vetted and background checked through TrustedHousesitters. It would be an honor to care for your home and your beloved pets with the same attention and affection we’d give our own. Please note that while we are new on here we are happy to share our reviews from Trusted HouseSitters with you as we have been active on there longer. We work remotely and have flexible schedules, allowing us to commit to sits across the U.S. and internationally. Since we travel without children or pets, we can easily adapt to new environments and give your pets our full attention. Our preference is overnight in home care for 3+ days with flexibility for upwards of 1+months. We care for pets in our clients’ homes with the same presence, mindfulness, and affection we’d give our own. Whether it’s feeding schedules, medication, walks, playtime, garden care, or quiet companionship, we take the time to understand each pet’s needs and personality. We’re calm, observant, and intentional—animals often seem to relax around us naturally. Luke and I work remotely and without children or pets of our own, which allows us to give each home and every animal our full attention. We show up as thoughtful, low-impact guests who respect your space, your privacy, and your pet’s well-being. From cuddles to houseplant care, we handle the little details so you can travel with peace of mind. Ultimately, we believe great pet sitting isn’t just about meeting needs—it’s about creating an atmosphere where your animals feel safe, loved, and seen while you're away.

“Lisette was right on time and took special care of my girlie. She sent great photos and gave her extra special cuddles. I was super glad she could be there to take care of her while I couldn’t. I will recommend her to everyone”

About: I have been working with dogs for 10 plus years. I worked for several years at an Animal Shelter, at a vet office, and have fostered many dogs and cats. If your pet has special needs, I am able to accommodate that as well, as I have personal experience providing medications and working with special needs pups. If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to let me know! I work Monday through Friday until 3:30PM. I am available for drop in visits on those days after 6PM, and all day on the weekends for drop ins and walks. Every pet and pet parent have different expectations and needs. Tell me what you need, and we will make sure your pet is getting the best care possible.

About: I'm good with puppies and senior dogs alike - I've raised multiple from puppies and 2 adopted dogs. If you want your pups socialized with children, I have 2 that would LOVE to help. For senior dogs, I've used every trick to get them to take their meds from mixing it into treats, pretending to drop food off the counter and "leaving food" on the edge of the table with the meds. What tricks work for your dog? I'll mirror any behavior modification you currently do to keep things consistent and reinforce your training. For excercise, if a normal walk isn't enough, I can take them to the Column trails or on the riverwalk. For dogs that just need some company, I can hang out and brush them for an hour without realizing it or take them to their favorite human hangout - a friend's dog loved people watching at a specific brewery in Denver and only that brewery. Pet-related facts about me: I raised a wolf hybrid pup to be part of my family and a rotty to be a sweet best friend. I've fed pinkies to pythons, crickets to geckos, rescued kittens and baby racoons on highways. I met a dog named Nugget on a small island and spent 4 days letting him show me around, introducing me to his human friends and letting him protect me from bad humans. Saying good-bye was tougher than I expected. On our honeymoon in CR, I met a semi-wild parrot named Franscini who bit off my silicone wedding band the day I met her and would fly to me from her tree every time she saw me. On the last day at this family's farm, the oldest son told me she didn't like people and bit everybody - including them. I'm a photographer and can adjust my sessions to care for your dogs. I typically go on a ruck or run on the trails by the Column, so bringing your pup along would be great company for me and excellent exercise for them. Dogs are family members. I don't leave my kids alone in the backyard and always carry pepper spray when we go for walks to protect them from aggressive 2-legged and 4-legged predators. I would take the same precautions with your dogs as I do my own 2 legged pups.

Emily B.
“Emily is trustworthy and responsible. I don’t have to give a second thought when she’s watching our princess - I know she’s safe. Our fur baby loves her to pieces and wiggles when we tell her that ‘Emmie’ is coming.”

Jason H.
“I had to go out of town for a week unexpectedly and couldn't take Stalin (3yr old Chow/Shepherd mix) with me. Jason offered to watch him. He hated his kennel because I used it as timeout, but Jason insisted on me bringing it over. I offered to get his fur shaved because he would get burrs and stickers in it which required me cutting them out constantly because he wouldn't let me brush them out - Jason just asked for whatever brushes and nail clippers I had. Fast forward a week, and Stalin's coat was shinier than I'd seen it, he was taking naps in his kennel and waited at the door when it was time for walks instead of jumping around and trying to bolt out the door. Jason was brushing him daily before knots could form around any stickers while watching TV and touching his paws until he was able to trim his nails. This was a HUGE help because that became our nightly routine too. To get him comfortable with his kennel, Jason put his food, treats and toys closer and closer to his kennel until Stalin was walking in it on his own. I'm a bit ashamed that I used it as punishment when he explained how dogs love having a safe den to relax in. Jason's great. It's obvious that he loves animals and I would totally recommend him to anybody that needs a pet sitter or dog walker.”

This was Sarah’s first time with my two kitties and she was amazing!! One of my kitties is hard to love, but Sarah was patient and persistent and eventually made friends of both of them. She gave them treats and pets and even brought flowering catnip from her garden. I felt so at ease being away from my cats because of how much love and attention Sarah gave them 💜
