“Lindsay and her family took such wonderful care of Khloe while Buddy and I were off backpacking in the Eastern Sierra for almost a week\. Khloe is a senior dog with arthritis, so finding someone I could completely trust with her is incredibly important\. From the moment we met, it was obvious that Lindsay genuinely loves animals. She kept me updated with messages and photos, and it was reassuring to know Khloe was comfortable, happy, and being treated like part of the family instead of just another boarding dog., When I picked her up, Khloe was relaxed, content, and clearly well cared for. That peace of mind allowed me to fully enjoy my trip knowing she was in great hands\. I can’t thank Lindsay and her family enough for their kindness and exceptional care. I would absolutely trust them with Khloe again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring, reliable pet sitter.”
“They are the only people who have taken care of my dog the way he deserves. Daily walks and activities, and very loving. Excellent daily pupdates. Easy to communicate with. Can't recommend this couple enough. They are the best!”
About: We have decades of pet care. We love to be active and walking our dogs as it is the best part of the day. We have experience with all ages and particularly love the active fun stages but also cherish the old pups that deserve more care. I am open to any Dog Mom and Dad's request because I understand the care your pups need. We are in a spacious home with lots of comfy places and a fenced yard. You’ll have two people looking out for and playing with your bff. Pet care is 100% of my Day. We are retired and taking care of our dogs is just the best thing ever. I walk everyday and enjoy watching happy pups. I have a fenced yard with sturdy gates. There is grass for them to do their daily pees and poos. Our home is clean and has plenty of space inside and out.
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Aspendell
I felt very confident and comfortable leaving my 2 dogs Blue and BZ with Sara. (I could not get the website to up date with my new dogs but I did enter their profiles.) I did confirm with her that my new dogs were much younger and had no medical issues. Blue and BZ were happy and very much themselves when I picked them up. It is wonderful to find such a reliable pet sitting in our community. I would heartily recommend her. Especially in regards to smaller dogs which is what my 2 are.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Aspendell home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
