We wanted someone to come walk and feed Rascal so we could spend a full day exploring downtown DC and the surrounding area. Ashley covered for us every day. Rascal is not used to spending long periods of time alone so Ashley was a blessing. She fed him and took him on a long walk every visit. We felt so good to know Rascal was being cared for by Ashley. She was also flexible with our schedule. We will call on her again if we return to the DC area which is very likely next year. I'm currently not working full time away from home, so for any boardings that are on week days or weekends, you and your fur babies are good to go. I do have one small dog at home BUT, if you prefer your dogs to be alone while here, my dog is easily brought to his grandparents house:), which they are always happy about. I will update when my work schedule changes. I have a fenced yard (tall privacy wooden fence with sliding deadbolt), and can easily crate dogs if needed. I grew up helping my dad raise and breed beagles and I have cared for pets over 20 years whether they were my own or owned by family. I joined in 2024 when I lived in Kansas City, MO but ended up having zero time!
