I’m a college student at JMU and have taken care of different animals all my life, and often get asked by family and friends to pet sit-caring from animals as small as hamsters to larger dogs like german shepherds. I am very used to walking large dogs, as I have grown up with german shepherds all my life, and I am very used to taking care of animals with disabilities or special dietary needs. For example, my childhood dog had a pancreatic disorder where I fed her a special diet and am accustomed to carefully following directions and making sure everyone is safe and healthy. About: I grew up with 2 Labrador retrievers, who I grew a special bond with where I grew to love taking care of dogs! I now have a 3 year old German Shepherd pure bred, who I raised and helped to train. I just adopted a Hound, who is a 2 year old rescue. I love walking my dogs everyday, and also driving them to parks as well. I feed my dogs everyday, and have always been known to be taking care of dogs my whole life. I am 21 years old, and a student at East Carolina University. I come home very often, especially during breaks, and live here all summer! About: What sets me apart is my personal experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and life stages. I’ve raised and cared for five dogs throughout my life, including Labs, Golden Retrievers, Chihuahuas, and German Shepherds, so I understand the very different needs of small, medium, and large breeds. I trained my own puppy from 8 weeks old, teaching her a wide range of tricks and good behaviors, which gave me a lot of patience and training skills.
