About: Throughout my experience caring for animals, I’ve been responsible for a variety of daily pet-care needs, including feeding and providing fresh water, cleaning food and water bowls, maintaining clean living areas, giving pets attention and companionship, and making sure they are safe and comfortable. When pets stay in my home, they’re welcomed into a calm, country setting with a large, open yard. While I don’t have a fenced-in backyard, safety is always my priority. Until I fully know and trust your pet’s recall, behavior, and comfort level, all outdoor time will be done on leash. Once I understand their temperament and you are comfortable, we can adjust as appropriate. About: Hello! My name is Kaylee, I am 23 years old and my biggest personality trait is my love for animals. If you were to ask someone who knows me, they may say “that girl with the zoo? I currently have 5 pets, who I consider my children, and that is the least amount of animals I have ever owned at once. (Only due to apartment living.) Caring for animals is my comfort and passion, it truly brings me joy. I have never lived a day without pets- and I don’t want to, so, I focused my career around them. However, I’m still in search of more! I am currently a manager at a dog boarding facility part time, and I love my job, but I would love to find more local work. At my facility, I am currently managing multiple groups of up to 20 free ranged dogs at a time. I have worked with nearly every dog breed out there, and I have loved them all. I have experience in handling many medical conditions in dogs, such as anxiety, allergies, seizures, joint issues, diabetes, asthma, and many more. I also have experience in administering a multitude of medications, including inhalers and insulin. I am currently working part time, and my work days are typically the same each week. I am unavailable on my work days during hours 4 AM- 3 PM, but I would love to work with you any other time! The approach I take to care for a pet depends on the pets temperament and needs. As I have probably met over 2,000 dogs at this point- I understand that each dog is different. Some may want constant affection, and I’m more than happy to give that! However, I know that some pets appreciate their space, or need to be taken slowly with.
