My parents’ dog shakes/cries at any loud noise, the smell of bacon cooking (yes, really... makes her think of the smoke detector going off), etc. I’ve always been able to calm her down. I have also worked with skittish and aggressive dogs. My friend has a pup that bites/barks at almost everyone, but he now cuddles up and cries of excitement whenever I come over. I live in a spacious duplex and welcome boarding. Animals are allowed to explore and are allowed on the furniture if they so choose.
