Christy T.

“This was our first time using Rover and we are so happy we found Christy. The process was easy and Christy let me bring our two Labs over the week before their stay to meet her and her dog Pete. The three of them got along great! While Christy cared for our digs she would send daily updates with pictures. After a day of missing us our dogs had fun getting attention from Christy and her son. Our male Hops had fun playing with Pete and by the end of the stay our 12 yr old girl was playing along with the boy’s . We couldn’t be happier with Christy’s care for our two 4 legged kids. We will use her again!”

Brittanyerin H.

“Brittany did a great job watching our pups! According to the picture updates, our pups enjoyed exploring the trails, playing with their new puppy friends and snuggling on the couch. Needless to say they slept the whole way home!! Happy we were able to enjoy our weekend away knowing they were in good hands. I would recommend and definitely have her sit again.”

Peter & Sarah P.

“Peter and Sarah were absolutely amazing with our big Newfie Bear! They took great care of him, brought him on many walks which he loves and we could tell since he slept all the way home! If you ever need pet sitting while in the White Mountains, I highly recommend Peter and Sarah!!”

Jane J.

“Jane is a lovely and experienced dog sitter. My little puppy was very excited and energetic to see a cat that was in Jane's home. Jane was skillful in calming down my puppy and making them get along. My puppy had a pleasant stay in Jane's home for a few days. Jane is very easy to work with too. We had some schedule changes and communicated to Jane, and she was quick in responding and working out our schedule.”

About: Not only do I love dogs, I also know how to communicate and be responsible caregiver! I have 2 dogs of my own and the desire to better communicate with my dogs have naturally led me to study and understand their language, their needs, and just to be a good and responsible dog parent. Through studying on my own and going to different training classes, I am very quick at understanding what they are saying, which I think is the most important thing in taking care of any dog. I will respect your dog and care for them as I do for my dogs! I work remotely and my schedule is very flexible. Not only that I can watch pets full time I can actively engage with them(play, training, walk) at any time of day that I want to. I respect all dog owners and their boundaries. The way I communicate with and take care of my dog personally is positive reinforcement method. My priority for pet care is safety and comfort. Being away from familiarity and put in a strange setting for dog can be very stressful, and my goal is to respect their boundaries and put them in ease in their own pace and I know how to do that well. This is important especially if I take care of your pet recurrently- so our house becomes a place to rest and have fun through an continuous good and trust based relationship. I am also very good with shy dogs. I’ve also fostered rescue dog. For overnight care, I require crates for safety reason.

Julie-Ann L.

“Julie-Ann was amazing with my dog gizmo. We were coming from out of state and I was a little hesitant leaving him somewhere I hadn’t been before, but she made us feel very comfortable and sent tons of pictures and even gave my dog a little toy to go home with. I would definitely recommend Julie-Ann in the future and if I’m back out this way I will absolutely use her again.”

Emma G.
“Emma is a great pick if you want a caring, kind soul to love your pet while you’re away! She is gentle and knowledgeable on all breeds and will give your pet so much comfort and love!”

Kim D.

“Kim was wonderful and went above and beyond to make Ronin and Winnie comfortable. They had a great stay. She sent pictures and updates frequently. I highly recommend Kim!”

Effie M.

“Our baby Kai had a great stay with Effie! She stayed for one night as we traveled in the area. During the stay, we got timely reports on her status and acclimatization (including pics), Effie was very responsive and kind with providing those updates. Kai came back in a wonderful mood, which shows how comfortable she was with Effie ;) We'll definitely be happy to use Effie's services in the future.”

Isabella V.

“Isabella was awesome! She kept me updated every day about the dogs and what activities they were up to. She exercised them every day and they were so happy and tired by the time I picked them up. I wouldn’t hesitate to have Isabella watch my pups again”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, most commonly larger dogs since I was 10 years old. My family has always had a dog in the house my entire life, so I am highly equipped, confident, and great at building relationships with other pets. I can walk dogs, ride with dogs in the car safely, bathe, and play with dogs very comfortably. I am both a cat and dog person! I am currently not working this summer, I am door dashing on nights that I am free to make a bit of money, but no commitments to any other job, so I am always available to help out with your pet! I have a very large yard with no fence, but within my yard is a fenced in pool yard. My home is a one story ranch, and I have 2 pet cats and 1 dog. My dog is a large golden doodle, very friendly and gentle with other dogs. Bentley, my dog, also has a glorified dog house outdoors in which he can spend the night if you feel uncomfortable with your pup spending time with another large dog. Keeping my dog and your dog separated for even long periods of time is no problem at all, as well as the cats! My cats are both barn cats so keeping them separate from your pet is no problem at all either.

Jessica C.

“Amazing as always! And our puppy intro of Kiva is going perfectly! I can't wait for her to start :) Although I need to run it by Bagheera as she will be crashing his party!!!”

Terry F.

“Highly recommend Terry as a dog sitter! My dog stayed with them for a few days and they were wonderful. We plan to book with them many more times in the future!”

Kali N.

“Kali went above and beyond to ensure that Ruger was comfortable and had fun while we were away. He was in great spirits and happily tuckered out from all the walks and attention he received! I had never heard of Rover prior to this and will not hesitate to use this service again. I have a feeling Ruger will want to visit his new friends whether we are going out of town or not!”

Laura & Bill M.

“Laura and Bill were great hosts and really made us feel comfortable about leaving our dog with them for the weekend. They made sure to have us inside to meet and greet and asked all about Mabel's specific needs and habits. She got lots of playtime while she was with them and seemed right at home! Laura and Bill sent plenty of photos and updates throughout the weekend too. We will definitely bring Mabel back next time were headed to Maine.”

Heather C.

“Heather is always wonderful with our anxious boy, Baxter! She’s friendly and helpful, cares about your pets and answers all your questions. I’ve always worried about Baxter when we are away, but when he’s with Heather I’m never worried! She’s the best!!”

Annybell H.

“Bandit had a great time!”

Althea B.

“Otis clearly was not happy to leave this lovely stay. It was not just exceptional care he received but a fun, joy bringing experience for him. Althea communicated at a high level with us daily, sending pictures and letting us know how he was doing. Otis will absolutely be a repeat customer when we need to take a trip.”

Greta W.
“Greta is wonderful. She is committed to any job she takes on. She cares for any animal as if they were part of her family. She truly enjoys spending time with and playing with any pet in her care. I trust her with my dogs and cats because I know they will be well cared for and safe.”

Christopher R.

“My dog Minnie had a great stay with Christopher. Minnie is usually afraid of men and can be too dominant with other dogs. She rarely lets men approach her at all but she let Christopher pet her and she totally fell in love with Christopher’s dog and followed his dog around the house all day. Christopher did a great job working with this little shy munchkin of mine :) I will definitely rebook again!”
