“The first time I met Melissa, I knew our fox terrier, Hershey ♥️ would be in good hands. Melissa is kind, caring, responsible and sends daily pictures with updates. She has a beautiful fenced in yard. I highly recommend Melissa♥️”

“Leayn was terrific watching our 6 month old pup. He seemed to have a great time during his stay. We received pictures throughout the day showing his playtime and rests. The fenced in yard allowed him to play outside chasing balls. Will definitely be back!!”

“Sport had the best time and Hannah kept us fully informed with pictures throughout every day of his visit. He was clearly treated very well and made to feel like family!”

“Christine was amazing! She was so attentive, communicative, and warm. When I picked up my puppy, I could immediately tell he had a wonderful day and was in great hands. I am beyond grateful for her care—if you are considering booking with Christine, don’t hesitate! She truly is the best.”
“Couldn’t ask for better care for my fur baby! This couple provides the absolute best care for my dog. Their daily photos and updates and genuine love for dogs give me complete peace of mind when I travel. Knowing he’s happy, healthy, and well-cared for makes all the difference. I can’t recommend them highly enough - they’re truly exceptional!”

“John (and Faith) were simply amazing! They boarded our two dogs for a week and a half while we were out of the country. Their communication was excellent with daily updates and photos. Their own dog Brodie (adorable) is a sweetheart and got along great with ours. They took them on daily walks, visits to the dog park, and allowed them to sleep on the bed at night, making it a true home away from home experience. Very thankful to have found them. Will definitely book with them again. And you should too!”

“Erin & John took great care of our golden retriever, Stella who had a blast playing with Brooke & Izzy. Quick communication and provided great pictures/ updates. Very flexible when we had a last minute change of plans. Felt very at ease during our trip that Stella was in good hands.”

“Kaylie and Jonathan took great care of our dogs while we were out of town. We got updates multiple times a day of how the dogs were doing. The dogs care back happy and tired. I would 1000% book with them again.”

“Awesome sitter! Sent pictures without needing to request them and I loved the constant updates, great communicater☺️ The dogs came back very happy❤️ Definitely a dog sitter that I will be using again!”

“As one who dreads leaving his baby girl with anyone, Natasha and her family were exactly what I was looking for to put my mind at ease for a quick last minute trip. They kept me informed and comfortable! Thanks guys”

“My dogs did great at Lynn’s home and she took wonderful care of them. She kept me updated on how they were doing & sent me photos. I definitely recommend Lynn to care for your dogs!”
“We were visiting Charleston and needed to board our Dog for 2024 hours. Anna turned out to be a wonderful dog sitter. She kept in contact with us and sent photos. Her house is well suited for boarding and she is close to a park for dog walking. If we ever return to Charleston, she will be my choice.”

“Jamie is an absolute gem, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. My 8-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer, Gracie, has IVDD following a spinal injury that left her temporarily paralyzed last year. Boarding Gracie for the first time since her accident was nerve-wracking, but Jamie’s attentiveness and care made it easy to leave Gracie without a worry. From the start, Jamie went above and beyond. She did a meet-and-greet beforehand, asked thoughtful questions, and followed every single one of Gracie’s care instructions to the letter: no running, no stairs, no rough play. She even let Gracie burrow under the blanket, which is a complete non-negotiable for my cuddly dog. The communication was outstanding throughout. Consistent updates and photos gave me real peace of mind while I was away. If you have a senior dog, a dog with IVDD, or any pet with mobility restrictions or special needs, stop scrolling. Jamie is your person. Beyond following instructions, she genuinely loves your dog. Would gladly book again! Five stars.”

“Barney definitely enjoyed his stay with Jasmine! I could tell from his body language that he was happy while there and came home healthy and with his tail wagging!”

“Amber and Anthony took great care of Riley while we were traveling. Riley had an ear infection and Amber was great at updating us on her progress and giving her meds. Appreciated the daily updates with photos, she had a blast playing with the other dogs. Thank you!”

About: I have had many animals in the past few years of all kinds. (Dogs, cats, snakes, guinea pigs, fish, etc) I love animals so much and would love to watch your pets when you are in need of someone! Pet care is something I am very used to in my routine since I have always had pets of my own, so it’s a normal daily routine for me, no problem! I make sure to walk dogs daily, clean up any accidents or messes immediately, separate dogs during feeding times if necessary, always let dogs outside immediately when they alert me that they need to go etc.
About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve been a proud dog dad since 2023 to Lara, my playful and loving Pitbull mix. She absolutely loves having other dogs around, and I enjoy welcoming friendly pups into our home so they can have some company and playtime. I’m very active and take Lara on at least two walks every day, so I’m happy to keep your pup active and engaged as well. I’m attentive to each dog’s personality and routine, and I’ll treat your pup with the same care and attention I give Lara. My routine revolves around making sure Lara gets plenty of exercise, attention, and time outside. 🐶 I take her for a morning walk before work and another walk after I get home, usually before dinner. During the day, she has access to a climate-controlled indoor space and our fenced yard through a dog door, so she can choose between relaxing inside or spending time outside. 🌳 Evenings are spent relaxing together at home, and I follow a consistent routine to help her feel comfortable and settled. I have a secure fenced yard with plenty of space, trees, and shade, as well as a dog door that allows dogs to move safely between the yard and climate-controlled indoor space. 🌳🐾 I can crate dogs when needed and will follow their normal routines. I also have two cats, but they are completely separated from the dogs by a secure gate, so dogs that are not comfortable around cats can be safely accommodated. 🐱🐶 Safety, comfort, and making sure every pet feels at home are my priorities.

Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
