“Elizabeth was wonderful with my 2 cats. She made them feel very comfortable and went above and beyond when she was with them. She sent me daily photos and updates and was very receptive to requests and quick with communication! I would definitely recommend her and would gladly have her watch my pets again!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life. In 2019-2021, I raised 2 working dogs in training. This program taught me so much about raising dogs and training them that I’m now applying to my own forever pup, Luca! Luca is a friendly 3 year old Yellow Lab who loves other dogs. I had a lot of Rover clients when I lived in Philadelphia and now am expanding to my new home, in Wall, NJ. I have my own house with a fenced in yard and direct access to a large park. I do work full time but mostly from home and only go into the office once a week. I typically will only accept jobs where I am positive I am free to provide full attention. I always take the dogs out at least 3 times per day to go to the bathroom and get exercise. My dog is my entire world, and I would treat yours the same. I understand how hard it is to trust others with our pups. Their safety, comfort, and happiness is my #1 priority.

“Sheryl was amazing with our girls. They love her. She arrived 2 times each day as planned and took care of our girls as if they were her own. I would definitely recommend her and we will use her again when needed.”

About: I started caring for dogs and cats when I was 8 years old, watching my neighbors pets when they were away. My college degree in Animal Science taught me the background information needed to care for medically complex animals, such as dogs with diabetes or cats with FeLV or FIV. I have experience administering injections, giving pills, wound care, and other medical treatment. If you’re looking for an experienced pet sitter to care for your beloved friend, look no further! I work remotely and can spend as much time with your pet as you need. On the weekends I have even more flexibility! Any time you need someone to take care of your pet, I’ll be available. I take safety very seriously and take precautions to ensure the safety of your pet and my own safety. When I first meet your pet, I introduce myself very slowly and pay close attention to body language. When pet sitting in someone else’s home, I always double check locks while entering the home and leaving to ensure that no strangers can enter and no pets can get out.

About: Offering pet-sitting and dog walking for the Neptune, NJ area and nearby towns. Three small dogs live at our home. About: I have always owned dogs and currently have 2 large breeds that we bring camping. I can handle big and small dogs. I was also a teacher for 30 years so I have patience. I am retired and love to walk so I am available anytime. I also love to play with dogs so I can throw the toys and get them the exercise they need. I have a fenced yard and 2 very friendly dogs. My yard is also separated so I have artificial turf in one area for my dogs and then I have a grass area as well. My stairs are gated.

About: I am an approved veterinary assistant by NAVTA (National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America). Throughout the past year I have learned about all different types of animals and their behaviors through both didactic learning and hands on rotating clinical experience. My rotations include animal husbandry, surgery, oncology, physical therapy, recovery, radiology, ultrasound, and so much more. I am an aspiring veterinarian and currently an undergrad majoring in biology. I am currently working part time which gives me plenty of time to spend with your pups! Either long or short walks I am willing to help out in any way I can. Your trust in me is my number one priority! I know how much love and care you have for your pets and I feel the same way. I respect and understand how much these animals mean to a family which is why my dream is to help them.

About: A life-long dog owner, I’ve been taking care of dogs all sizes and ages since I was 13 years old. I pride myself in being reliable and extremely engaging with animals. I communicate with each client to determine their pet care needs and strive to create a stress-free experience for everyone! I currently work full-time from 8:30 am - 5 pm in Asbury Park. I am available before work from 6 am to 8 am, or anytime after work. I am also available on weekends! I live in a small apartment three blocks from the beach with my French Bulldog, Bean! My street is very safe and offers a great ambiance for walks. I’m happy to offer my cozy space for daycare or sleepovers, but I can only accommodate one other medium/large dog or two small dogs. If your dog is crate-trained, please plan on bringing it!

“Courtney is very patient, caring, and persistent in feeding our outdoor cat. Rocky is cautious with strangers, keeping his distance until he gets to know you. Courtney was able to make him feel safe with her and he now accepts his meals from her regularly. We highly recommend Courtney and plan to use her services again.”

I’ll gladly send you pictures of your adorable pets and love long (or short) walks and getting my steps in! I’ve cared for kittens/puppies and elderly animals with various health conditions, along with your healthy middle aged fur friends.

“Heather has been an occasional caregiver for our puppy, Jerry and our cat, Lola for the last 4 months. She was the first person to puppy sit for Jerry after we got him, and we are so glad that we found her through Rover! Heather assists with last minute dog walks, holiday pet sitting for the cat, as well as drop-ins. She is consistently reliable, and we've always felt 100% comfortable leaving her to care for the pets. We are so happy that she lives just down the road and will definitely be using her for future pet sitting!”

“Karin did a wonderful job caring for our two pups while we were amour off state visiting family. She was professional, attentive, and kind at the meet and greet. My dogs took to her very well. She is definitely an animal lover!! And it shows. Karin asked all of the necessary questions and planned everything ahead of the visit from playtime to walks and food. We felt very secure and confident leaving our two pups with Karin. We knew they were in good hands. We received texts and pictures throughout the visit and could rest assured that our doggies had their walk, playtime, and were fed and safe.”

About: I have 4 years of pet-sitting experience, 2 in New York city and 2 in Jersey Shore area. I have cared for mostly cats and dogs but I I’ve had various types of pets my whole life. I enjoy doing yoga, running, and sitting on the beach. I love nature and I can give your pets lots of outside playtime. From young to old, I will treat your doggie as my own! I can’t wait to care for and have fun with your furry friends! If you have any questions feel free to contact me. I recently graduated from Columbia University for my Master's and just moved back home from NYC. About: I have owned and loved dogs all of my life, including now. I love watching and caring for dogs of all sizes, tiny, extra large, and everything in between. I would love to watch your doggo and give them not only the necessary care, but all of the extra love and affection a dog needs when their owners go out of town. Long walks on the leash, tug-of-war, and cuddles on the couch are all my favorite ways to spoil a pooch. I’m also very good with puppies, as I’ve trained quite a few foster puppies and prepped them for new homes. And I’ve loved senior dogs like my childhood Pekingese, Buffy, who required medications every few hours due to her blindness, deafness, and anxiety incurred in old age. Looking forward to loving your fur baby! I work from home in Asbury Park, so I am available for walks during the day and can also come house sit as needed during the day if there is wifi and a place to work. I am tedious with pet care rules. I take special care, time, and attention to ensure your pets have everything they need when they are in my care. I also love snuggles and frequent playtime.

Kaitlyn R.Star Sitter
“I have counted on Kaitlyn numerous times to help care for my two golden retrievers and feel so lucky to have found her. She is experienced with dogs of all breeds and sizes and accustomed to caring for dogs in the city, suburbs, and rural settings. Kaitlyn is very active and always takes my dogs on a run or a hike with her (and best of all, she sends me photos of them while she is with them.) With my explicit permission, she also typically takes them to the dog park just a few yards from her house and has followed my instructions about meals, training, treats, etc. to the letter. Perhaps most tellingly, whenever I walk my dogs by Kaitlyn's apartment, they pull to go in! I fully and completely recommend Kaitlyn for all dog sitting needs.”

Our dog is always happy and healthy when we come back. She is a person who makes sure when she’s doing something that she does it right. Allie is some we always trust and is our first choice to take care of our dog because we know we’re leaving our dog in the best hands”

Asbury Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Courtney is amazing. My Banjo is a sweetheart but comes with issues, and Courtney was so attentive & patient with him. He wasn’t eating but she figured out a way to get him to! She kept me up to date on everything with Banjo & even shared photos. You can clearly tell Courtney doesn’t do this just for the money, she cares about animals and treated my Banjo like he was her own. I came home to an acting normal not stressed out dog and that’s all thanks to Courtney. I absolutely recommend her.
