About: Let your pet stay at my quiet house on the mesa (quick drive to the rio grande gorge trails and tons of hiking trails in my neighborhood!) in El Prado! I have a spacious fenced in yard and am conveniently located between the ski valley and downtown Taos...your pet will have a blast with me! Walks or runs around mesa trails, lots of cuddles and time to explore outdoors, and a yard to roam! I have spent most of my life around dogs -- ranging from labradors to miniature pinschers. I would love to take care of your fur baby while you're out of town or if you need an extra hand during the work week or weekend. If you have any questions, please let me know! Thank you! I’m available for dog walking (or running!) as well. I work part time close to home so I have plenty of time to play with your fur baby, spoil them with extra long walks, and give them plenty of cuddles! I do long dog walks on the mesa in my neighborhood’s extensive trail system and can run/walk dogs depending on their energy levels and needs! My yard is fenced in and there’s plenty of room to roam! I have one dog (a 10 year old american eskimo) who is incredibly sweet and calm. He is very friendly and happy to have company as long as your dog is friendly! We welcome your fur baby into our home and will treat them like family!

About: I’ve had pets my whole life including Great Danes, cats, bunnies, gerbils, fish and have been dog and cat sitting professionally for 5 years. Recently I lived and worked on a thousand-acre farm caring for cows, horses and goats, doing everything from feeding, cleaning and even bottle feeding. Bottom line is I love pets, and would love to meet your four-legged family members!! I currently work from my computer so I am very mobile and happy to be flexible with scheduling, etc. I love spending time with all animals so I make it a priority to fit this kind of work in. *If you have multiple pets and my site is quoting a large number for your sitting request, please know I am happy to look closer and find a good price for all! If I am giving care at your home my number one priority is your animal’s safety. That’s best implemented by focusing on your (the owner’s) rules and daily routines. Once I establish that, I focus on creating a special bond with your pet—it’s like they’re getting a new friend. If I’m boarding at my house my number one priority is to create a new and special routine that reflects their home routine but with new special elements. I have a very large yard and a safe neighborhood to take pets on walks, and as long as they are happy sharing space with a cat we have a really good time!

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
