About: I quickly became a dog mom when my partner moved into my house with his 5 year old dog Sampson. I fell in love with our daily walks in the field behind our house, as well as having something to take care of in the house. Sampson listens, he is a dog I can walk off leash and the best cuddle buddy. Because of his good nature I soon found myself growing our family by the addition of two puppies. Hank was our first pup - he is a Great pyreenes mixed with a Bernese Mountain Dog. Think fluffy, slobbery, and 140 pounds. I wasn't sure how a big dog and myself would get along but I found his size comforting. Stella was a dog we failed at fostering. She is a smaller terrier mix and is teaching me the true purpose of crates and leashes. I learn every day how to be better for my dogs. It is chaotic, messy and unpredictable living with three dogs but I wouldn't change it for anything. I am by no means a perfect dog owner but I understand the complexities and uniqueness of each dog and their personalities. I rely on being consistent and predictable for my dogs so they continue to trust me to take care of them. Their health and happiness is my priority. I am a school teacher. When school is in session I am free after 5pm. When we are on break for holidays or summer, I am free anytime. At my house, I don't have a fenced in yard but we have over 20 acres to walk. I am comfortable walking dogs on a leash. I have a crate for a medium to small sized dog and an outdoor "doggio" for warmer days or if a furry friend wants some time outdoors relaxing. I have three dogs, one of which is a very large and enjoys rough housing with other dogs. We have lots of toys and a house that that continues to become dog proof. We let our dogs on the couches and they have a large living room to play in.

Our dog, Willy, was very comfortable and seemed happy around Heidi and we were confident that he would be well taken care of during his stay. Even though it was a short stay, we received frequent messages with pictures and updates about his daily adventures.”

“Alicia was a wonderful caregiver for Skye while we were out of town! She is so nice and her house was perfect with a nice fenced in yard and seats / beds outside for the dogs to relax. Her canine buddy Izzy was a perfect host also! Alicia sent me lots of pictures of Skye during her stay which were so welcomed by myself and my husband. About: I’ve had pets my whole life. I love hanging out with them, taking them to parks and on walks, and making sure they are happy and well cared for. I have a day job, but my time after is free. I can always make sure I’m available whenever I’m needed. I’m usually always available on the weekends. I take care of pets better than most humans should be treated. They are most peoples fur-babies! Well fed and plenty of time for play with treats and toys! We don’t deserve animals.

She would make an excellent dog sitter. She knows how to give meds as needed. She lets them run and play to get the exercise they need.”
