About: I have several years of experience caring for many different types of animals. I have been a cat owner my whole life, so am very comfortable caring for cats (indoor or outdoor) in any capacity. I have previous experience dog-sitting for both small and large dogs, as well as senior dogs. I have experience providing drop-in visits for potty breaks, walks, feedings, cleaning litter boxes, administering medications, playtime, extra cuddles, as well as staying overnight to provide daily care for pets whose owners are out of town for multiple days. I also have some experience checking in and feeding farm animals such as chickens, guineas, farm cats, and cows. I am a big animal lover that has been around animals my whole life. I would love to give you peace of mind when you are away from home to know your pets are being looked after and well cared for! Currently a full-time college student and working part time in the Madison area. I have a flexible schedule so can do drop-in visits or stay overnight with pets if you live within a decent commuting distance to Madison. Comfortable caring for many different types of animals. I can provide most anything from a quick check-in, to an overnight stay if feasible. I am able to provide walks or outdoor time for dogs, comfortable cleaning litter boxes or other pet cages, and can even administer medications if needed too.

About: I have grown up on a mini sheep farm which we shown and exhibited all of these animals including chickens, ducks, rabbits and sheep at the local fair. And of course we had a guard dog to protect our animals. I have dog sit multiple times before by just helping out my friends and family, now I am excited to meet some new pets! I am a UWSP student with long breaks in between semesters. During the breaks I come back home to visit my family and to work. Each week is a little bit different for me, but I will always have time for your pets! One of my favorite things to do with pets (mostly dogs), is to take them on a walk and enjoy the nice outside with them!

Amanda was a godsend when our house sitter cancelled last minute. We met her first then her with her dog, Sedona, and I knew right away this would work out really well. You see my dog, Millie, doesn’t warm up to people easily and doesn’t always play nice with other dogs but Millie instantly liked both of them. Amanda stayed at our house along with Sedona, so Millie was spoiled having her two new friends stay with her. They went on many walks and Amanda sent me lots of pictures while we were gone. I will definitely use Amanda again!

About: I lived on a farm when I was a little one. Later, I was a trusted house sitter for relatives when they traveled (watching the home and taking care of 2 dogs and 2 cats). I owned my own cat for 15 years. I've taken care of farm animals but not on a regular basis. I'm competant with delivering meds and being really careful with senior pets and those needing special care. I'm one of those people who talk to pets like they are people. I can be there for the extra play and snuggles puppies need, but I think the initial potty training should be by their owner. I carefully listen to the owners and what their schedule is like. Then I morph my schedule to be very close to that so the routine is similar with me and their pet. I adhere to the pet owners instructions. I make myself available for the pet so we learn to trust each other. I show lots of affection, if the pet wants to receive it. If not, I can give them space.

About: I think something, I can proudly say is that I have people meet me once and trust me to watch their pets. I’ve had pets and I have taken care of friends and families pets since I was 12. Truly bonding with my pets was the highlight of my childhood, an experience that I know not every child is fortunate to have. I’ve seen my dog from puppyhood to his frosty senior days. The care is different of course, diets and lifestyle routine slow down and more careful attention is needed. Love is another key, all animals are deserving of being treated with respect and kindness. That includes the animals in the forest, since I work outdoors I see a lot of birds and critters and each one’s life is valued and admired. Like my job, the environment of the pet is important. Keeping the food and water bowl clean, is something I find some families neglect but I find that to be a little disheartening as you would not like to drink out a dirty water glass Services offered * 30 Minute Dog Walks include a fun stroll around your neighborhood or a nearby trail to give your pup the exercise fresh air, and mental stimulation they need during the day * 30 Minute Drop-Ins include potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and of course plenty of snuggles to keep your pet happy and comfortable while you're away * Basic House-Siting include staying overnight with your pup so they have company and comfort in their own home, along with daytime care every 4-6 hours for potty breaks, meals, playtime, and cuddles I currently work outdoors for Ice Age Trail Alliance, and unable to commit to the time for a long term companion, however I have just enough time to spoil and love on other people’s adorable pets :) Truly, the most important aspect of pet care is the establishing the safety and security of your pet. The initial meeting with your pet, getting familiar and making sure the pet feels like they can trust their caretaker is crucial. That establish trust between caretaker and pet, allows me to ensure the best case scenario for your pet. Whether it be, trusting you on a walk or worse case scenario luring your pet from under the bed or loosing the lead for a second. I offer comfort of house sitting or walking your pet to ensure their routine is uninterrupted. :)

Soo kind and patient with our 3 month old puppy. Cleaned up accidents (including washing and drying a throw pillow that our naughty pup decided to pee on) left our house spotless as if untouched. Very communicative and sent updates & photos throughout her stay! 10/10 recommend , will use again in the future!

I can't recommend Kate enough! My doggo (Kooper) has some separation anxiety. When I reached out to Kate we discussed what her home would be like for a dog. I was a little nervous, because typically we ask sitters to come and stay at our house but decided that we would do a meet a greet to see how that went. Kate, Cody, Gus (dog), and Poe (cat) made our dog and us so comfortable. Gus and Kooper got along great and even though Koop has never been around cats, him and Poe were fast friends! Kate has a great yard for playing and her schedules allows for lots of 1:1 time with the pets. Kate was flexible, provided consistent updates, and was extremely responsive with her communications. Everything went wonderfully! Kooper was sent home happy, safe, and with a positive report card and goodies. I will definitely be connecting with Kate again about future visits!

Leanne was amazing! She watched our dog while we were on vacation out of the country. Everyday we received a few pictures and text messages about how he was doing. Charlie fell in love with her daughter and I think that bond helped him stay calm when we were away. I highly recommend Leanne for watching your animals! She did everything we asked of her and our little fur baby came home happy and excited to see us! He even whines when leaving Leanne’s house! Can’t wait to have her watch him again!

This was my first time ever leaving my dogs not with family and Teresa was absolutely fantastic! She did a meet and greet with my pups before I booked and was so sweet I just knew they'd be in good hands while we were gone. Teresa then went above and beyond was flexible and handled things for me when my family that was coming to stay the second half of the week had their flight delayed. She stayed extra hours and made sure my dogs were well cared for! She was also great with communication and sent pics and texts assuring me all was well. I will definitely recommend her to family and friends!
