About: Drop ins: With drop ins, I don't believe in quick stops and feel that a minimum of 10-15 mins are best for fur baby happiness. Walks: I have been walking dogs since our first family pet, when I was 16. I have also cared for dogs who only do their business on walks, so I have learned to be patient. Extra Info: I have experience caring for deaf pets. My dog was born deaf and I have worked to develop a communication system with him to promote happiness and safety. ** My dog will not be present at any time I am with your pet. I work from home so I have some flexibility in my day and can do all of my work right next to a fur baby if needed! About: I’ve had pets in my home as long as I can remember, ranging from dogs, cats, lizards, fish, birds, rodents, snakes, even tarantulas! As an adult my husband and I have 3 cats who we adore and my family have an elderly boxer (who’s convinced he’s a puppy). About: The health and happiness of any dog in my care is most important to me. During the day I work at a Doggy daycare and boarding facility and the majority of my free time is spent with my own 2 dogs. I just recently left the Military and I’m about to start school to become a Vet tech :) Any dog that I have the opportunity to care for will be treated as if they were my own. They will have access to any of the furniture in my home including a little couch just for dogs. I’ve been working at Cindy Lou’s Do’s for 3+ years now and I do weekend boarding every weekend for dogs, cats and even pigs every so blue moon. I work part time at 2 jobs currently and i’m a college student but im always home and have breaks in between classes and things. my work schedule during the week is either 7am-12pm or 12pm-5pm. On weekends I also do dog boarding and the times I go in to walk and check on the dogs are 8,12 and 5 so most weekends i’m free to stay for boarding as long as i’m able to leave in between. I live in a gated neighborhood with one dog and 3 cats occasionally when the one outside wants to come in. They are all friendly and get along well with other pets. Pets to me are like children and need to be watched at all times and basically coddled, that is no problem for me whatsoever. quite frankly i enjoy it.
