About: As a pet lover and owner, I understand the level of care and security pet owners desire. I am patient with pets, understand their needs, and will give them plenty of exercise (as desired) and attention. Whether you need me to visit your pet's home or drop them off at mine, I am glad to help. If you would like me to house your pet, I have plenty of room as well as a fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run. There is also a bike trail nearby I would love to take your pet on if they enjoys walks. I currently have a small dog, but have owned other dogs before as well including a large dog, rabbits, a scorpion, and birds. I'm a quick at responding, so feel free to reach out whenever you may have a pet need. As a student, I have flexible hours and more availability than perhaps the average employee. I make it a point to take my own dog, Snickers on a walk at least once a day as well as playing fetch with her. I'd be happy to help keep your pet entertained as well. I have a comfortable home with plenty of indoor and outdoor space, and can make accomodations according to your pet's needs. I have a large basement in addition to a fenced in backyard, with plenty of room for them to run around. Have toys to provide as well to keep them entertained. I can provide a regular schedule for your pet to make sure they receive the care that works best for them. As a student, I can provide flexibility in regards to making home visits as well at providing care at my home if desired. I am just looking to help others with their pets. Please let me know any specifics or concerns you may have with what your pet may need.
“Cassie did a great job with my 5 dogs with many different personalities. She followed my instructions to a T and sent lots of great photos! Definitely recommend her!”

“Jacob did a great job taking care of Gunner! He was reliable, attentive, and kept us updated throughout his stay. We really appreciated the great care and would definitely recommend Jacob!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities since I was young. I grew up with dogs in my home and currently have two dogs of my own, so I know how much our pets mean to us and how important it is to find someone you can trust with them. I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I truly love all fur babies and would be so excited to care for yours! 🐾❤️ I am currently a part time student at Anne Arundel community college. I also have a part time job. My weekends are available. Weekdays I have a lot of free time during the day between classes before I head to work at 2:30-5:30 (usual hours). Safety is my top priority when caring for your pets. I will always make sure they are supervised, secure, and comfortable, whether we are out on a walk, during a drop-in visit, or staying overnight. I follow each pet’s routine and any instructions you provide, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, and anything else that helps them feel at home.
“Last month I found out that my previous dog walker moved out of town, I ran across Emma's profile and noticed she had many good reviews. We met for a meet and greet and my husband and I both felt comfortable having her care for our dog. We scheduled a weekend trip and we had no issues. I booked her again for a week long of drop in visits and she went above and beyond to make sure our dog was well taken care of. I would definetely recommend Emma to care for your pups. Thanks again for everything <3”

About: Im the better choice when choosing someone to care for your pet because of the genuine care, patience, and attention I give to every cat/dog as if they were my own. I understand that each cat (or dog) deserves individulized care that matches their unique personality, routine, and comfort level. At the moment I am helping take care of my mother which is a full-time, demanding job, but i still have plenty of time to add pet sitting at my residence or yours. My day will require a carefully blending of tasks rather than creating entirely new one. For example, instead of adding a chore to my routine, dog walking simply turns my solo exercise into a shared, high-utility activity, that I can also do with mother. When going to a clients home, I follow every direction. Walking, feeding, playing. I make sure I leave the pets happy, and your house exactly how the client left it. I do not rush the process at all, to make sure I always exceed the clients expectation.
“Briana was incredible! I truly count myself as lucky to have found someone that cared for my babies like they were her very own. Even in one of the worst scenarios we could've been in, she held her compsure and did what we couldn't. She immediately let me know something was wrong with my Gordito's health and then went above and beyond to care for him in his time of need. It's because of her that we found some peace in a very difficult time, and I can't thank her enough.”

“Debra has been coming for drop-in visits at my house for 2 weeks to take care of my sweet pup. She always spends the time taking great care of him. I hope to continue to use Debra on a long term basis when I need help caring for my pup. Highly recommend!!”

“Justine helped us out with a last minute request to drop in to let our puppies have a potty break during the day. The puppies loved her. 🐕 🐶 I highly recommend her for your pet needs!”

I love to make sure that pets have everything they need, including lots of pets and cuddles. I have one dog of my own at home as well!
“Shannon is a great sitter for my cats while I was away on a 3-week European trip. She made sure that my cats were fed and very happy with her. Very plesed with her quick responses and notes describing how my cats are doing. I will have her again in the near future!!”

“I recently had the pleasure of using Casey's services for a weekend, and I couldn't be happier! From the start, it was clear that she truly loves dogs and knows what she's doing. She came to my house each day to let my dog out and feed him. My dog, who usually gets nervous around new people, warmed up to her right away because of her calm and friendly nature. She made sure my dog was well-fed and got plenty of playtime. She also sent me updates and photos, which really put my mind at ease while I was away. When I came back, the house was spotless, and my dog was happy and relaxed. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional dog watcher. I'll definitely be using her services again! Thank you, for taking such great care of my furry friend!”

“Leah was a huge help to us over Labor Day weekend, dropping in to let out and feed our three dogs. My husband and I are both small business owners, so we jumped at the chance to take a brief overnight trip together and Leah’s help made it possible. She was on time and engaging with the dogs and they were well cared for in our absence. We would definitely recommend Leah!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
