About: I have been caring for animals since I was a child and it gives me great comfort and peace in a spiritual way. I am a home owner for 19 years in Douglasville Georgia and live alone. I am a US Navy Veteran and a writer/publisher for Onequalife LLC. I have seen how our environment harms animals life. I am an advocate for all life forms and we need to do better to protect them. Every day, I try to be the best version of myself to make all contacts positive and productive. My super power is patience and to learn new things. Writing is my passion and animals are my comfort. Making a connection with a new animal is a blessing for me. Lots of Love and Smiles for the Soul. As a child, I always have been spending time with our family animals. I have the time and experience with a safe caring fun loving home. I also have a fenced backyard with two sections and a large basement on two acres property. Safety always comes first and I always treat cats or dogs like toddlers. I always have a watchful eye on them and feed and keep them safe.

“Steph was awesome! She is so sweet and kind! Super trustworthy and responsible. She took great care of my pup Maisy and sent me so many cute pics. I knew Maisy would be in great hands from the moment I met her. I didn’t worry one bit leaving her in Stephanie’s care.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I’ve had Pitbulls, chihuahuas and yorkies so I am accustomed to the differentiating behavior that dogs can display between breeds. I believe in honesty and communication to keep both parties protected and informed because your pet is important. I don’t want any harm to come to them on my watch. My dog has seizures, so I understand the concern that can come from a person watching your dog and not understanding the nuances of how to properly care for them and their special needs. I am here to be that person for you. Currently, I work part-time on the weekends during the evening, so I’ll have plenty of time for your pets. I am also an online college student, so I appreciate those that are understanding of that. The most important way to care for your animal is to see and learn how you care for your animal. No one is going to love them or ever know them as well as you. Each animal is unique in behavior, so I try to respect any boundaries imposed upon me by your pet or you.
About: Welcome to my Rover page! Some basic info on me: my name is Crystal, and I'm currently a work-from-home full-time Customer Relations Manager. I've been consistently pet sitting since I was 19 (mostly for friends and neighbors), and I have a cat named Hobo. I live with a roommate, so this ensures I can do long extended stays and make sure Hobo is still taken care of. Needless to say, I love animals! I've loved dog sitting since I was quite young and have never had the chance to have a dog myself. I've gained lots of training through the years of learning how to manage all different types of dogs well and keep them happy. I love going on walks and runs if your dog is into them, and am just as good at giving rubs and cuddles for bedtime. In short, I'd love to meet you and your furbaby! If you have any questions or want to schedule a meet and greet, definitely reach out--I can travel just about anywhere, and I'm willing to accommodate special needs dogs and dogs of any size! I work from home full time, so I am available 24/7 to be with your beloved cat or dog! There will be no conflict of timing or need for potty breaks or cuddles with me! I have a completely flexible work from home job, so I am available at any given moment to give them that potty break, walk, or some TLC. :) I treat those fur babies as I would treat my own; always with attention, love, and affection. This includes making sure they're properly fed, hydrated, and given the pets needed to make them feel as comfortable as you do.

On the days I do work, I have a long lunch break for midday breaks. As a vet tech, I am skilled in proper safety of each pet. How to leash, crate, and pickup animals when needed. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
