About: Animals have pretty much always been a part of my life! I grew up always having an animal in the home, and most people who know me jokingly describe my house as a zoo. Currently, I have one dog, two cats, and a fish tank, so caring for animals is genuinely just part of my everyday life. About: I have plenty of experience with various types of pets such as cats, dogs, rabbits, parrots, and fish. You name it and I can do it 😉 I also have experience administering medications to any of those fur babies above, as long as there is a walk through and I can see how the animal behaves when it is done so I know how to handle the situation. I am enrolled in college which means my schedule changes my semester. It is easiest that I am in home pet sitting if your babies require more attention. If not I am able to drop in mornings, evenings, and some afternoons depending on the circumstances. I am able to feed, water, and clean up after them on a daily basis and work around schedules if there are some issues. Cookie is extremely shy and has a lot of anxiety around new people, so leaving her while we were away was something we were honestly very nervous about. Elizabeth immediately gave us so much peace of mind. She was incredibly patient, attentive, thoughtful, and trustworthy. She understood that Cookie needed space and allowed her to warm up at her own pace, while still finding little ways to build trust and make her comfortable. By the end of the stay, Cookie was following her around, letting her brush her, and even rolling over for belly rubs, which is a huge deal for her! Elizabeth also communicated with us constantly, sending detailed updates, pictures and videos, and letting us know about everything from eating and potty breaks to small changes she noticed. We never once had to wonder how Cookie was doing. It was very clear that Elizabeth genuinely cared about Cookie and treated her like her own. Being away from an anxious dog can be stressful, but knowing Elizabeth was with her allowed us to actually relax and enjoy our trip. “I am hesitant to tell you all how awesome Jack is, because I don't want to have to fight you over his availability in the future! That being said, well, it's true; he is awesome! My dogs love him. Now that in and of itself isn't that amazing because my dogs are wonderful and love most people automatically. However, I could tell that the affection from Jack was genuine as well... He genuinely seems to love my animals. He gave them their snacks everyday And played with them all day long. He sent a couple of pictures every day so I could see how the boys were doing. He even made sure he had WhatsApp on his phone so we could communicate while I was down in Mexico. Several times when it got really hot, he got them under the shade and sprayed them down with the hose. They loved it! He also took them out for walks, and even took them down to play in the river once which they loved!! The downside to that is now I'm going to have to take them to the river too...
