About: Been on rover for quite some time now 2018, I am now located in the Plumas Lake area. I am a CPDT but I’m shifting gears slightly and going to school for vet med to be a RVT. Your pets will be in good hands between myself and my wife who has 10 years as RVT. Coffee, let the pups out to potty, prep breakfast, head out for morning gym or appointment. Return by 12. Potty breaks and dog walk or bike ride for Sparta. Landscaping/yard work or In my workshop until sundown. Dogs eat around 5pm Yard is fenced in back and front. I will be able to provide play areas for little and big dogs separately if needed. Meals are typically mornings 7 to 9 and evenings 5 to7. I am able to create different zone for the dog to be in if there is any need for separation. I also have multiple buildings in which to house them and a very large private back yard for them to run.
About: Although I don't clean litter boxes, I've had many years experience interacting with cats and being a calm presence for them. A good head scratch and belly rub to give comfort or paying laser toys and feather wands, I bring my own!

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and I always will, they’re the absolute best! When I turned 16 I became a puppy and dogsitter for many family friends as well. I know that a happy dog is a tired dog and I strive to do that even with my own puppy and yours will get the same treatment! Whether it’s watching them overnight, or doing drop-ins to maintain a regular meal/medicine routine or making sure your pet stays hydrated throughout the day, I prioritize comfort and health for all animals in my care. I currently work 8-5pm from home, and I would like to offer my caregiving in around those hours. For stop overs/check in's during my lunch break, after work hours and on weekends, I will check in on your pet(s) and make sure they are taken care of and have what they need, per your specific instructions. For overnight care, I would simply need somewhere to sit with my computer and reliable wifi in order to work from your home, so I can be there all day with your pet(s). I do not offer care from my own home, but will travel to and/or stay at your home for the specific care you many need.
About: I've had the pleasure of loving and taking care of furbabies of all sizes for 20 years. I first started pet sitting for an acquaintance in 2005. Later, when I became established in the area as a trusted house cleaner, I started pet sitting for some of my clients and their friends. Sadly, I lost all my clients and contacts save one in the Camp Fire as my client base was in Paradise and Magalia. Since then, I have taken care of my own little furbabies and ever so often cared for the Chihuahua/Pug/Terrier mix of the one remaining client from Paradise. Within the years that I was actively pet sitting, I took care of dogs of all sizes from Chihuahuas to Whippets. I am excited to once again assist you with your pet sitting needs and ensure the best attention is given to your dog’s health, happiness, and well-being! For my clients in Paradise and Magalia, I did both drop-ins and overnight stays. (My favorite memory was staying with two little lovely Dachsies for three weeks!) I made sure each pet I took care of was fed as per the instructions given to me and that they had access to fresh, clean water. Whether it’s maintaining a regular meal routine or making sure your pet stays hydrated throughout the day, I prioritize comfort and health for all furbabies in my care. I also have experience administering medications, whether oral or topical, and am dedicated to ensuring your pets specific medical needs are met with precision and care. I know personally the importance of a vet's instructions and the proper maintenance of a consistent medication routine. I also know the importance of exercise in keeping a pet happy and healthy. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll or a more vigorous activity, I am happy to ensure that your pet gets the exercise and playtime they need! Above all, each dog that I have taken care of I have treated as part of my family. I look forward to providing your furbaby with the same love, attention, and care that I have given to my past clients and to my own pets! I currently have a day job between the hours of 9:00AM and 3:30PM, Monday through Friday. My hours are flexible with my day job and I can switch obligations around as needed to suit your pet sitting needs. I do not work on weekends. I can be available during the day on week days, and am available nights during the week, and evenings and nights on weekends. For any pet in my care, whether it has been a client's pet or my own, I have always ensured that they have gotten plenty of love and quality care. For past clients, I adhered to all instructions given pertaining to feeding time, exercise and medications if applicable. I made sure there were plenty of cuddles and that every pet in my care felt safe and secure.

About: I grew up here in Northern California with many different loyal pet dogs. After high school I joined the Army and got out of active duty in 2017. Long story short I moved to Alaska with my pet dog from Yuba City where I learned to be a dog musher and she learned to be sled dog. I’ve worked for various different high level sled dog kennels, thousands of different dogs, thousands of hours with dogs, thousands of miles with dogs, and even spent a year working at an Athletic & Longevity Canine Research Facility under the mentorship of some of best veterinarians and scientists. My knowledge and experience in general canine medical care, psychology, and training is advanced. I currently work from home & have a flexible schedule. I open to the special needs & care of your beloved pet from all ages. Each pet is individually unique when it comes to specific pet care, so I will work diligently with owners to best understand their pet. I have 1 spayed female 8 y/o Shepherd/Husky mix who is well tempered, a lead sled dog, well socialized to keep your pet company(friendly with both dogs & cats). I have a dog door that leads to a fenced in backyard. Regularly scheduled feeding, walks, & bathroom breaks.
About: I have been a dog lover since I was a young child playing with them holding them. Let them show me there joys and if sad hold them for awhile. They are wonderful friends. I am currently not working as summer school jobs are slim. I am available any day at anytime I am needed use me if needed I will care for your dogs by giving them structure and a routine so they can’t miss you as much and anxious behavior is minimized.

About: I have a home full of love to give along with a big back yard for play! Plenty of grass as well as dirt areas for those who like to dig. My senior dog, Charlie, a female terrier mix is friendly and inviting, just as we like to be! I am a stay at home mom so your fur babies will never be alone! About: I have worked in the veterinary field for over ten years, I moved from Grass Valley with my husband and two children to pursue our dream of managing a large scale commercial cattle ranch. Doing so gave me the opportunity to raise our children out in the country, with the same animal-filled upbringing I enjoyed as a child. I grew up with a variety of animals: horses, goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs, and birds. Ever the animal lover, I was always bringing home homeless or injured animals to our parents; once, a pot-bellied pig followed me home from the bus stop, and she even got to bottle raise a deer! I trained and trialed my first border collie, Faith, at the age of 16, and have continued to pursue dog training opportunities throughout my career. Throughout my life, I have worked with several prominent canine organizations, including Greyhounds Friends for Life Rescue, Sacramento Independent Animal Rescuers, and the Canine Support Team in Southern California, who provide assistance dogs for people with physical disabilities. Boarding available for weekday and weekends. I work from home two days a week and go into office a few days a week. Pets will be taken for yard plate in the morning and longer walk in the evening. Pets are cared for like family. Inside and outside fenced time as well as leash walks available for fur babies. Medications given when needed, special needs boarders welcome.
About: I have always grown up with animals as a child. I own 2 animals and have 3 kids. Usually you'll find me volunteering for shelters doing different things: doggy day out for shelter dogs, bottle feeding puppies and kittens, helping at adoption events.
