“First I must say I do not like boarding my baby Gracie at all. I needed to find some way I could board my Gracie that was not a kennel so I could be confident my baby would be well taken care of so I could enjoy my travel. Found Rover.com and decided to give it a try. Started searching the sitters & I found Irvin & Susan. The reviews were great so decided to do a meet and greet. Everything about the atmosphere was great as was Susan. Booked a short stay to see how it worked out. I really appreciated the daily updates and pictures of how Gracie was doing. When I picked up Gracie she was her happy self & when we got home there was no sulking as there has been with a kennel. Fortunately, Irvin & Susan enjoyed by Gracie too. I've also worked for 10+ years with a local rescue, raising kittens only days or weeks old until they are old enough to be fixed and adopted - feeding them milk on a regular schedule and then weaning them onto wet food, then dry food, also teaching them how to be a cat by interacting with my cats. About: Been on rover for quite some time now 2018, I am now located in the Plumas Lake area. I am a CPDT but I’m shifting gears slightly and going to school for vet med to be a RVT. Your pets will be in good hands between myself and my wife who has 10 years as RVT. Coffee, let the pups out to potty, prep breakfast, head out for morning gym or appointment. Return by 12. Potty breaks and dog walk or bike ride for Sparta. Landscaping/yard work or In my workshop until sundown. Dogs eat around 5pm Yard is fenced in back and front. I will be able to provide play areas for little and big dogs separately if needed. Meals are typically mornings 7 to 9 and evenings 5 to7. I am able to create different zone for the dog to be in if there is any need for separation. I also have multiple buildings in which to house them and a very large private back yard for them to run.

About: I grew up with dogs and have had dogs most of my life. I worked for several years with a boxer rescue group. Dogs truly are the best friend anyone can have. I enjoy all breeds and sizes. I started working with Rover many years ago. I ended up having the same clients that kept my schedule full and no longer was offering Rover Services. I recently retired and moved to Wheatland. About: We are a loving family with two young girls and a dog. We enjoy being outdoors and spend much of our time in the garden. Our property features a pond for dog-paddling, a lawn for ball throwing, and many trails for exploring. I am a stay at home mom so I’m able to give around the clock care. We usually go for a walk through the orchards after breakfast and spend most of our day outside, watering the gardens and doing work around the property. We also enjoy an evening stroll before bed. We live on 10 acres and have a perimeter fence as well as a fenced backyard for free play. We have a private, secure dog run if your pup is more comfortable in their own space as well. We are usually up between 6-7, we can feed breakfast then or after our morning walk around the property to feed the farm animals. We do a lot of outdoor play and work in the garden that our boarding dogs usually love. I am a stay at home mom and Michael works from home so your dog gets constant companionship. We have a fenced yard that attaches to our house and a doggie door so your dog can go in and out as it pleases. This area is the main place your dog will stay when we are not romping around the farm.

About: I've had the pleasure of loving and taking care of furbabies of all sizes for 20 years. I first started pet sitting for an acquaintance in 2005. Later, when I became established in the area as a trusted house cleaner, I started pet sitting for some of my clients and their friends. My main concern is the dog's health, which is why walking them is extremely important. Giving dog's additional exercise other than playing in the back yard is key to releasing their excess energy.
