About: I have had pets and cared for animals since I was a child, giving me years of hands-on experience with both indoor and outdoor animals. Growing up on a farm allowed me to work closely with a variety of large animals as well as young and baby animals, helping me develop a strong understanding of animal care and responsibility. I am experienced in feeding, bathing, walking, and playing with animals while ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. My lifelong experience around animals has made me dependable, patient, and attentive to the unique needs and personalities of each pet. I am a third grade teacher and have a plenty of time off in the summers! I love animals and would love to have a part in taking care of your furry babies. I have a fenced in yard, plenty of acreage, and live on a safe drive with very minimal traffic. I take my dog for walks daily on our drive and we play in my backyard to get all of our energy out! I also can crate animals indoor and/or out with an extra large kennel in our fenced in yard!

About: I grew up on a 100-acre farm and have spent my entire life caring for animals of all kinds. My experience includes both everyday and medical care for livestock and household pets, giving me a strong understanding of animal health, behavior, and individual needs. I have implemented treat based training as well as clicker training with my own pet. Over the years, my family bred and raised both small and large dog breeds, ranging from Beagles to Great Pyrenees. This hands-on experience has given me confidence working with animals of all temperaments, sizes, and energy levels — from high-energy working dogs to elderly and disabled pets requiring extra patience and specialized care. Animal care has always been a true passion of mine. I believe animals are a gift to everyone they meet, and I am committed to providing compassionate, reliable, and attentive care to every pet as if they were my own. Pet care is my full-time profession, allowing me to provide reliable, flexible, and attentive care for every animal I work with. I also attend school virtually while completing my degree in therapy, which gives me the ability to maintain a consistent schedule dedicated to pet care. My long-term goal is to open a therapy practice incorporating equine-assisted therapy to help support and heal others through the connection between humans and animals. I prioritize providing care in my clients’ homes, where pets are most comfortable and able to maintain their normal routines and environment. She even went the extra mile and fed the strays we take care of that live outside and filled our water bowls that were low when she absolutely did not have to! About: I have had 2 dogs of my own for 7 years. My sweet pups get pampered at home, so I would to share some love with other dogs around town while I have some extra time on my hands. I also have experience dog sitting for friends & family, but would love to expand to help new families! I am a teacher, so my afternoons and weekends are wide open! About: I’ve taken care of my dog for 13 years which helped me gain experience. My neighbors have also allowed me to babysit, walk, and feed their pets. I am currently playing for a local soccer team that allows me to have a flexible schedule. I am free most hours during the week and on the weekends. When visiting a pet at a clients home I make sure to let the dog get used to me first beforehand. If the yard is fenced, I would love to play outside with them. I would also give lots of pets and cuddles if they enjoy it.

About: I come from a home who owed/bred dogs. I’ve always had a pet. I’ve dealt with puppies, kittens, raccoons, birds, iguanas, and fish. I do crate train as that’s what we do with our own puppies. We provide a safe home for your fur babies, with lots of love and play. I already care for my one fur baby. We have a routine we like to follow, it helps with the pets and children in the home. I have a fenced in yard and generally crate train in my home. We have a routine for walks, feeding, and playtime.... lots of playtime.

About: I am an owner of two Jack Russell Terriers who make my life incredibly entertaining. Both of them are rescue pets. The relationship I've built with them has introduced me to a whole new part of myself. I love to dote on others' fur babies as well. I'm a professional musician who does this as a way of supplementing my income, so my schedule is *usually* accommodating to almost any pet owner's needs. I prefer to do drop ins and some house sitting. I don't typically want to bring my own pups along with me until I know your dog's temperament. Even then, it is rare. They are beginning to show that they’re senior pups. If you think I'll fit your needs, don't hesitate to call. I'f I'm available, your pups will be well cared for and smothered with affection.

About: My love for animals began as early as I can remember. I have always had a deep reverence for all life around me. I'm currently a student at UNA studying environmental science and sustainability. I hope to one day have my own farm. I've had a wide variety of pets over the years; gerbils, Guinea pigs, a box turtle, and many of my friends growing up had dogs as well. My first true animal companion was our family dog, Logan, who was a rescued Golden Retriever/ German Shepard mix. He passed away at age 15 when I was 13 on Christmas morning (no joke- of all days..). My family took a long time to get another dog because we felt that no dog could ever top Logan. My parents did get another dog since, a rambunctious and loving beagle mix named Molly. I have also had an orange tabby cat named Señor Platáno of which whom I allowed to be indoor and outdoor while I went to school at Kent State University, but he was tragically hit by a car. To this day I still think of him more as a dog the way we were so close. I haven’t been in the right place financially to have a dog of my own but at my most recent job I was able to interact with dogs on a daily basis and it always made my day. I decided to sign up for Rover because I am currently unemployed and enrolled at UNA so I thought what better way to earn some side money than to become a dog walker/sitter. I look forward to meeting as many furry friends as I can and I will truly cherish every encounter I am fortunate enough to have. Thank you. I am currently unemployed so my schedule is practically wide open. I will be resuming my education at UNA in the Fall, but all of my classes will be online so my schedule shouldn't change much. I live in Florence and I like to stay local with my hobbies so I’m not usually ever far from the Shoals area. Dog and cat care will fit well with my schedule. Pet care at a clients home will always be carried out with honor and reverence towards the clients, their home and their pets. I was a boyscout growing up and my loving parents taught me well to respect people and animals so when I leave a home I will leave it in the same condition or better than when I arrived. Your pet will get my undivided attention and care as I will treat them like I would my own, with love and respect.
