I am happy to share that I work my schedule around you - my clients! 🩷 I am also excited to announce I am expanding my service location from Pacific Grove to San José! 🤩 🐾 Caring for pets in your home means keeping their tails wagging, whiskers twitching, and routines steady! 🐶🐱✨ When I’m with your furbabies, I make sure they’re fed, loved, played with, walked, and snuggled—always following their usual schedule so they feel safe and happy. 💕 I handle clean-up, give extra TLC to pets with meds or special needs, and keep their space secure and cozy. About: I have enjoyed helping my parents and neighbors with animal and house sitting over the years and managed anywhere from 1 - 2 independent pets up to 5 pets at a time (dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, reptiles). I am currently a part-time student looking to extend my animal care experiences to pets in your home. I specialised in animal behavior while studying neuroscience at the Claremont Colleges and will be very attentive to your animals needs in my care. I also have experience administering topical/oral medications as scheduled. I am continuing my education part-time and available to help mostly afternoons. Please contact me 1-2 weeks in advance for HOUSE STAYS otherwise I am flexible to assist with regular potty breaks, walks, feeding, etc. with 1-2 days notice. When caring for animals in clients homes I will be sure to follow any set guidelines or recommendations provided to me. I enjoy meeting animals energy levels with exercise (walks, outdoor play), toys, training reinforcement, or simply good pets. I will be respectful of you and your animal's space to reduce stress and encourage normal/beneficial behaviors.

“Grace was amazing. She came to meet me and Priya before my vacation, coordinated with another friend to be there when Priya was getting dropped off, was super responsive, and sent a ton of pictures. I'm confident Priya has a great time while I was out of town!!”

“Nora was absolutely fantastic! She stayed in our home for a week and took care of both our pup and home so well. We had a lot of specific requests and she went above and beyond meeting all of them. She was incredibly trustworthy and caring. She communicated frequently and sent lots of good update pics of our pup. I hope she will stay with our pup again in the future! If Nora is available, book her quick!”

“I almost don’t want to tell you how phenomenal Denise was because I want her all to myself. :) She was loving, communicative, and responsive. Cannot say enough good things about her.”

“Lisa was so great with Luna boy! We are grateful for her communication, pictures, kindness and reliability. We can tell Luna enjoyed her. Would definitely recommend and use Lisa again to watch our pups! :)”

“Jonathan was awesome! He took great care of our dogs while we had a fun weekend in Tahoe. He took incredible pictures and updated us frequently. The dogs were instantly comfortable with him and snuggled right in. They went for plenty of walks and the dogs were happy and tired when we returned home. Jonathan was really great about asking questions and following special instructions for our dog Otis, as he is recovering from TPLO surgery. The house was also quite clean and orderly upon our return. I will definitely be asking Jonathan to come hang out with our dogs again!”

About: With 4 years of hands-on experience in pet care, I’ve worked with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’m certified in dog CPR and have multiple dog handling certifications, which means your pup’s safety is always my top priority. I’ve cared for energetic puppies who need structure and training, as well as senior dogs who require patience, gentle handling, and extra love. I treat every dog like my own, with respect, understanding, and lots of belly rubs! Pet care is a big part of my everyday life. I currently work part-time as a kennel technician, so I’m already caring for animals daily feeding, cleaning, monitoring health, administering meds, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. Outside of that, I make time each week for pet sitting and drop-in visits. My schedule fluctuates so I always try to work my schedule around yours! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I always focus on creating a safe, calm, and loving environment that feels familiar and stress-free for them. In clients' homes, I stick closely to your pet’s routine regarding feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication, and any house rules you’ve set. I make sure they feel comfortable in their own space while keeping you updated with photos and messages. When pets stay with me, they get a clean, pet-friendly space with plenty of attention, enrichment, and quiet time to relax. I limit the number of animals I care for at once to make sure each one gets the time and care they deserve. Your pet's comfort and safety always come first, no matter where they are.

“We had a trip planned to go out of the country and wanted the best sitters we had worked with to watch our house and our dogs while we were away. Claire and Dillon went way out of their way to accommodate us and even helped water my garden. Our trip was perfect and made more so knowing that our house and our dogs were in good hands.”

About: Hi! I’m Shawna — Unlike a regular dog walker, I provide one hour structured walk/runs to safely burn excess energy and reinforce calm leash behavior — ideal for high-drive dogs. I specialize in structured walks (working with dogs that pull the leash) and 2+ mile minimum walk/runs to help dogs burn energy and feel calm. I’m comfortable with strong-willed or high-energy pups. Whether your dog needs a peaceful walk, consistent leash guidance, or a good run, I bring calm, confident energy and real experience. Some dogs thrive on variety! If you’d like your pup to enjoy the beach, trails, or a park, I offer 1hr adventure outings starting at $120. This includes transport up to one hour drive time round trip, a safe and fun outdoor experience, and drop-off back home. Extra driving is billed at $60/hr (not including my own commute). Let me help your dog stay happy, tired, and well-exercised. A tired dog is a happy dog. Caring for animals is already a part of my everyday life. I have a high-energy cattle dog of my own, so daily walks, playtime, and structure are built into my routine. I’m also a runner, so exercising dogs through long walks or runs fits naturally into my schedule — it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I plan my days around being active and outside, which makes it easy for me to give pets the time, attention, and movement they need I’m happy to care for pets in their own familiar environment. I follow your pet’s routine closely, making sure they get the right balance of exercise, structure, and affection. I’ll respect your space, keep things clean, and communicate clearly while you’re away. I always aim to make your pet feel safe, loved, and calm while you’re gone — and make the transition as stress-free as possible for both of you

About: Hi y’all! I’m a local and have slowly been building a clientele, so I thought to put a profile to easily share with them my availability. I honestly do this for fun! I have years of expertise taking care of all sorts of animals. I am patient and a good listener with your fur babies. In addition, I am detailed when it comes to instructions from the owners on what the pet needs and their behaviors. No stone goes unturned. Because I do this for fun, the money is the last thing on my mind. So, if you’re on a tight budget, I hope my low rates help you out. If you still need to arrange something that fits your budget, please contact me! I am happy to help. I hope to be part of your fur baby’s life! I’m currently working full time, so I’m available for full pet care on the weekends. However, if you need pet care and you are in a rush/in an emergency, feel free to reach out and I am always happy to accommodate when possible. I make sure that when taking care of pets in a clients home that everything is left spick and span— I’ll sometimes do light cleaning so that owners come home from their long trip to a sparkling home that smells fresh and clean. When taking care of pets in my home, it is the same way. I will always dedicate plenty of time to your fur babies and they will be with me wherever I go.

About: I’ve owned seniors dogs, puppies and everything in between. Jack Russell Terrier to English Mastiff. I’ve also owned cats with diabetes that required insulin daily, neurotic quirky animals we’ve had to adapt to, chickens, goats, sheep, bearded dragons and other reptiles. We are an active family and Hilo goes most places with us. However, there are times he must stay home in his covered kennel or inside depending on weather. We enjoy the rhythm of our daily routines just as much as all of our animals. To keep it humming everyone works in concert sharing the load of responsibilities.

About: I am attending school at UCSC for legal studies and have a robust knowledge of dog parks, dog-friendly beaches and trails from Santa Cruz to the City! If you’d like to socialise your dog, you’re in luck because I have a 10-month-old baby 🐾 of my own. We have tons of doggo friends for your pooch to meet if you choose, and no matter what, your dog is getting top-tier handling and care when you trust working with me! If there are behaviours you’d like to work on or would like me to be aware of, please do not hesitate to reach out, and we can discuss them further. I am available for full time pet care and when school resumes come the New Year, I will be available part time + still available to board if needed. There has not been an hour where I have not been in the company of 1 or more dogs since June 2024 I have a fenced yard for the dogs to go potty and run uninhibited. I have a small scale toy operation which means the dogs will have plenty to keep them occupied and if he/she would like to go home with their favourites, we can arrange for that too. I am capable of pickup and drop off as well as supervised visits to the park, creeks, the beach, trails, etc.

About: I grew up caring for a variety of my families animals including dogs, cats, chickens, pigs and horses! I have always loved animals, so coming into college I began fostering puppies and kittens for the Chico Animal Shelter, training them for adoption. Now on my free time I love dog sitting and dog walking for families. Following college graduation, I am currently finding myself enjoying a summer off before joining my professional career! This means that during this time I have a very flexible and open availability to fit your needs! I offer trustworthy, personalized pet sitting and dog walking. I will follow your care instructions, ensure a safe environment, and provide consistent attention with regular updates!
