About: I've owned and watched dogs since I was 10 years old. From small puppies, elderly dogs, to dogs huge as a mastiff and small as a chihuahua. Whether they be my own, friends, or families I held dear, being around and caring for dogs have always been a huge part of my life! I've fed them, bathed them, given them medicine, and have always been relable. Currently, I am mostly self-employed & studying for a Real Estate license. I do work mornings at a horse barn, and have a contract gig working occasional weekends with a D&D-styled Bed & Breakfast. Thankfully those shifts are scheduled months in advance and, for barn work, typically wrap up around 11-Noon. :) I'm always willing to give dogs the ample affections and pets they need! I'm super attentive to when they need to go outside/take a walk, have their food right on schedule, have some playtime, or whenever they just geniunely need attention and love. I honestly do it everyday for my own dogs. So I'll have no trouble giving them the same needs I give my precious wee babies.

About: I have been around animals my whole life and want to spoil yours! I have owned cats and dogs both and take care of many of my neighbors pets all the time! I am the person who is always getting distracted and running late because I ran into a dog that needed to be pet! I am not currently working so I am free to walk and take care of your pets full time! I can easily adjust my schedule to stay overnight if needed and just visit if not! I have lots of experience walking dogs safely (my last dog was a beagle, so I know how the nose can lead a dog!) I am happy to crate your dog and keep them safe at your home and in your yard and neighborhood!

About: I've had dogs and cats for over 25 years and have trained many puppies and raised many rescue animals. Animals are like family to me and I've loved every one. Now that I have the time to help other animals, I'd love to help yours. I'm a retired Federal employee who is available in the morning or afternoon for pet check ins and walks. I live in the Myersville area and would be available to help in the surrounding vicinity. If you need a little space for your dog to run free, I have a fenced in yard with 2 friendly dogs. We usually take our dogs on walks and let them run in the fenced in area. I can walk your dog, check in on them, feed them, and let them out in your fenced yard.

About: I have 30 years of pet care experience with a wide range of animals. I have owned and taken care of animals including hamsters, rats, and guinea pigs as well as snakes, iguanas and your more traditional pets such as cats and dogs. I have also owned horses, cows, goats and other large animals as well. I am comfortable with medication management as well as taking care of puppies and senior animals. I pay close attention to changes in your pet's behavior and mood to catch any issues as quickly as possible. I currently own two cats and work full-time out of the house. I offer overnight sitting in your home any time, and weekend boarding in my home, when I am able to be there with your pet all day. I also am able to do drop in visits during the day for dog walking or to check in on your pet. In addition, my adult daughter lives at home and has a very flexible schedule where she can assist in care for your pet. Pets in my home are allowed full access to the house, and can sleep on both beds and couches. I have a large, unfenced back yard with a stream through it, as well as plenty of places for walks. I am 100% respectful of your home and space and will leave your home in the condition it was when I got there. I understand that pets are more comfortable in their own spaces and will follow any routines and instructions you have for their care.

About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. I look out for them. I believe exercise is critical. I care about their comfort and nutrition, including constant fresh water! I like to have notes on personalities and habits of the dogs I care for so as to help the animal feel comfortable. I prefer dogs that have been crate trained or trained for healthy habits. A crate is a necessary tool and a dog should feel safe in a crate. If I need to step out for any reason, your dog will be put in a crate for their safety (or your preferred method). Favorite toys and bedding is encouraged. Please know that your dog is safe and cared for while in my supervision. I'm home most of the day with the exception of a few hours(3-3 1/2) so, your dog will have my attention and care! Besides, all dogs need naps, right? :-) Holiday rates will apply to all of my services. Mostly retired. Why not use my time to care for wonderful animals? I currently have 3 cats. About: I currently work as a caretaker at a dog daycare center, where I care for dogs with a wide range of personalities, temperaments, and play styles every day. Weekdays: Available after 1:30 PM for walks, drop-ins, and pet care. Weekends: Usually fully available for walks, house sitting, overnight stays, and extended care. I’m a Dog Daycare worker during the weekdays, so my services may be limited to the afternoon + evenings from Monday-Friday. With dogs, I’m very patient and comfortable with all personalities, including high-energy, excitable, or anxious dogs. I focus on calm and respectful handling and try to help very anxious dogs feel safe by giving them space, approaching slowly, and using gentle reassurance like calm voice and light petting on their side when appropriate. I pay attention to body language and always aim to build trust rather than pressure them into an interaction. If a dog is acting out, I redirect their attention and follow any training or behavior instructions provided by the owner. With cats, I’m used to reading their behavior and giving them the space or attention they want. I understand that many cats are super independent and are protective about their space, but I also enjoy working with affectionate, social cats. I have experience caring for kittens, including feeding and basic hands-on care, as well as senior cats who may need routine medication or any extra attention.

About: As the proud owners to two wonderful little rescue dogs, a cat, some chickens, guinea fowl, goats and sheep, we know how hard it can be sometimes to find care for your pets and farm animals while you are away. We will provide the same level of care and kindness that I would want and expect for our own spoiled pets. Trust is an important part of pet care and petsitting, and we want you to be able to confidently, and without worry, leave your pampered pups and kitties in our care. We live on a small farm in rural Western Maryland, about 20 minutes west of Frederick. We have experience with all kinds of animal care, from horses, cows, goats, sheep, and poultry. We are currently able to provide drop-in visits for dogs, cats, and a variety of farm animals, as well as house or farm sitting, and in home boarding, as well as hourly dog park style use of our large fenced yard. Your pets will be a happy addition to our family in our home! Our whole property is fenced by 4 ft or taller board and wire fencing, with smaller areas sectioned off in the front and back yards. The driveway is gated and secure. We want your pets to feel as safe as our own. Leah and Andrew are both available for petsitting services. We currently work only at home, tending our farm homestead, and have a flexible schedule. We are able to drop in one or two times a day, or less or more often, as needed. We treat every animal as if it were our own and provide a level of care that we would expect from our pet care provider.
