About: Rescued my Staffordshire Terrier / Mastiff mix when she was almost four and worked with a trainer to have her become my service dog. I had an amazing seven years with her until a brain tumor forced us to say goodbye. I spent 2021-2022 volunteering weekly at a rescue handling puppies, walking them and helping socialize them. In 2022 I adopted a five month old Rottweiler/pitbull mix puppy from Kansas. He is high energy and tecently completed his Begining manners obedience class. I'm enjoying training him, and when the end of the day comes he is a joy to cuddle up on the couch with and watch some tv. When conducting g drop ins I pay attention to details like how much ffod/water ate in the bowl, consistency and color of bowel movements and any other factors that I think may effect the overall health and well-being of your furry family member. Of course there is always time allowed for pets, snuggles, and wet puppy kisses. As a boarder I only take one dog at a time. Our guest "furry friend"- your dog, will have they own guest crate in my room, which is an efficiency suite in my parents basement. Your dog will have my dog to play with, get plenty of cuddle time on the couch when I watch TV, and the guest crate is only 10 feet from my bed, so we are all together. We live on 2 unfenced acres, so there is a lot of fun yard to run around in and play with my dog in during the day. I am currently not working a traditional job. As a result my time is flexible and other than my commitment to a number a regulars I do drop ins for, my schedule is pretty flexible. I prefer caring for pets in their own home as this is where they are most comfortable. I'm the new unknown factor. As much as I can keep to their typical routine and environment the more at ease I feel your pet will be.

About: Want someone to hang out and keep your pets company while you’re gone? My full-time job is remote and if you have good Wi-Fi, I can work out of your home to keep your fur babies company for a longer period of time during the day. I’ve owned pets for over a decade, and I’ve been looking after them for much longer. I have raised my 2 Great Pyrenees from 8 weeks old, so I am comfortable with any age, size or breed. Large breed dogs have a special place in my heart. Since I own two of them and walk them together all the time, I’m very comfortable taking large dogs on walks or runs, and snuggling them. **the 60 min rate listed is for working from your home, can be added up to 8 hours on most week days. I work from home, so I can stop by to let puppies out midday depending on my day to day. I could also potentially work remote from your home (and keep your pets company) during the day if you have Wi-Fi. I am saving up for a wedding and just looking to make a little extra cash on the side. I treat all fur babies as I would my own, with love and respect. I’ve been hired by many pet owners over the years. Kindness and courtesy always.

About: Animals are Gods among us. I agree with Ricky Gervais, that "a dog loves you more than it loves itself, and that's why I worship dogs." Honestly, this gig is a bit selfish - my sweet baby Pit Mix passed away recently & I miss her terribly. I'm certain that engaging with animals will soothe this depression. I am socially awkward with humans, but I love animals. This will be therapy, a true gift, to me. I also need to exercise more and would like to be able to afford any kind of home, some day. My family has had pets since I was in kindergarten. I volunteered with Faithful Friends in High School, through which I also fostered kittens. I have taken care of my neighbors' & friends' pets while away over the years, which I equate to a collective total of ~2 years. I take medical issues very seriously & cared for my doll when she was ill. I understand how stressful & important it is. My favorite thing about walking a dog is when the folded tops of their ears bounce up and down. I work full time until ~4:30PM, but I am usually free after. I am available for boarding on the weekends. On the days I work from home (typically Monday & Wednesday), I can also provide a walk or check in during my lunch hour (1 to 2PM). There are no other animals or children in my home; your pet will have my undivided attention. I have a large partially fenced in yard, and many walking trails nearby. I'm also happy to take care of a pet in your home, if preferred.

About: I’ve had a dog for as long as I can remember and I’ve never had any issues with any dogs. I’ve had a boxer, pitbull mix, and husky throughout my life I’m a student athlete but I do not have a job while I am at school. I have plenty of time to care and watch over animals throughout the week and on weekends! I have a completely open and flexible schedule. Open to driving within 15 miles of location. I am now open to offer in house care for any dogs/cats up to 2 at a time. I have no animals of my own anymore, but my son is very animal friendly.

About: My experience is personal. Our family dog was aging and experiencing lose of bowels, not eating well and stiff limbs. I took special interest in her care until the end🐾 My calm demeanor is an asset in dealing with animals 🐾 I am usually busy with my own personal schedule after 4pm but I am also flexible if I am needed after 4pm. Advanced notice is appreciated. I have two dogs, a sheepadoddle and a shih tuz yorkie mix. I feed and walk them probably 4 times a day. Keep them clean (wipe them down after each walk) and make sure they have clean water.

About: I have been a consistent volunteer with multiple shelters and a pet sitter over the past 4 years taking care of animals of different backgrounds. I'm currently preparing to leave for college and have a lot of time to spend with your dogs throughout the summer (weekends and weekdays available)! I can provide leashes (slip lead and clip), doggy bags, and a travel water bowl (all if needed) in order to provide your dog with the best and safest experience possible.

About: I have been working at Villa la PAWS, located in Maple Shade, NJ for 3 years. As an Animal Science major, my devotion is to understand the proper care, love, and positive behavior that all animals need to thrive. While my passion lies with training and behavior of dogs and cats, I am quickly expanding my horizon, in college, to working with larger species such as cattle and equine.
