About: I have volunteered for a couple of years now with predominantly dogs. Taking them on walks and giving them lots of love and attention. Supporting them when they need it most. If there’s an animal around, chances are I’m petting it! I have both dogs and cats at my house and enjoy hanging out with them every chance I get. I love going on walks with my dogs on a nice day and can spend hours throwing a cat toy around! For me my cats do not go outside and if I walk my dog they stay on leashes. I check that they’re fed and that they have water and don’t mind taking my dogs outside regularly to make sure they can potty. In a clients house their animals safety and comfortability is most important to me.

I am mostly here for drop-in care and walkies because I have my own Fur Squad at home, but if we are a good fit I can do short duration overnight stays here and there. At 14 I started overnight pet-sitting for family friends and continued through my teens, college and adult years. I have found, fostered and re-homed several (including my own) Mexican street rescue dogs and cats including 2000 miles of car travel and transport across the border for 2 different doggos to their furever homes. If your doggie needs some extra adventure, we can make additional arrangements for a cool splash adventure in the river or a hike in a local canyon. Base rates subject to be adjusted as per you and your pet's special needs ie: medications, puppies in training with special needs, special needs pets, etc. I am highly flexible since I work from home and make my own schedule. I have plenty of time for daily check-ins, walkies, feeding, belly rubs, snuggles and play. Field trips are available with additional arrangements. About: I’ve been pet sitting for family and friends for a few years now, it’s one of my favorite past times. I form a bond with most pets I take care of because I give them a lot of attention, I respect them, I take time to get to know your pets’ personalities, and I listen to how their owners want their pets treated and trained. About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life. For the last 15 years, I’ve owned very high energy hunting dogs, and love being able to take them on long walks, hiking in the mountains, or just play ball in the back yard. I’ll help with any kind of training/socialization a puppy or dog might need, you just have to let me know if there are behaviors you need help working on. I’m happy to drop in to check on dogs and cats of any size. If I can help out by taking a pup for a wash or anything extra like that, just ask. Willing to help transport, can come feed and medicate, as well as hang out and play for a while. I do have my own pups, and so I cannot do overnight stays at this time. I just moved back to the Grand Junction area and am working at settling into life back in the valley. I’d love to help you out with your animals, big and small while I have the time ☺️ My pups are my family, they go every where with me (unless it’s to someone else’s house, of course). They get daily off leash runs in the north desert or at the family farm in Fruita. I’m not offering boarding at this time because of my own pups and lack of space.
