I was super nervous about leaving my cats alone for an extended period of time and to have somebody that is rocksteady and do exactly what was asked. Is the peace of mind I needed. When your miles away from home and you worry about the littlest things that creates anxiety and I didn’t have any that because she went above and beyond making sure everything was taken care of. I think that’s the most important thing. These days is reliability and trust. I trusted her with everything in my home, including access and taking care of my animals, she went above and beyond bringing in mail and definitely making sure my cats were well taken care of. About: I've had pets my entire life, mostly cats but a few dogs too. Animals tend to like me and I'm good at telling when an animal is happy and healthy. I'm currently self-employed, building a crafting business, and as such my schedule is very flexible. I enjoy walking as a low impact exercise. I have a safe home, but I will not be offering boarding services since I own four cats and any additional animals would cause them stress.

I try and follow the normal schedule and routine you have for your pet. I have no problem crating your dog if needed but can let them free roam if that’s normal for them as well. I also try and keep them on the same feeding time. If your dog is used to walks in the morning or evening I try to accommodate that as well as the length of the walk.

About: I grew up with all kinds of animals and took care of them when sick or when family or friends were away. I can continue training if needed. I love to take care of fur babies. I can confidently say when you get home your fur babies will be happy! I am a caregiver for the elderly with dementia my schedule varies but tends to be midday up to 5 days a week 4-5 hour shifts. I can adapt to any set of rules you may have for your pets to help them be more comfortable and feel safe while in my care.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
