About: I have taken care of dogs for at least 15 yrs. Mostly, I take care of my own dogs, including after surgery care and provide. Sometimes, I would also provide doggy daycare for my neighbors. I currently have one 7-yr old Australian cattle dog. I currently work from home so your dog(s) will have all the attention they need. Dogs are allowed on furniture and beds in my home. I have a fenced backyard that they can play in and/or run around to their heart content. My dog is also a playmate for your furbaby.

About: Hi, please call me Kat! I am a lifelong animal lover with over 8 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and personalities. Whether it’s a shy senior, a bouncy puppy, or a special needs pet, I’m here to offer calm, compassionate, and reliable care tailored to their unique needs. I’ve been lovingly referred to as a “pet whisperer” by friends, family, and clients thanks to my gentle and nurturing presence; pets naturally gravitate toward me, and I treat every one like my own. I’m experienced with administering medications, supporting detailed routines, and making pets feel safe & cared for while their humans are away. Additionally, I have dedicated time to curating my care to make sure you receive a truly specialty service. While I always ensure I leave your home exactly how you left it, I offer optional add-on home cleaning and laundry services. I never mind having additional duties like tending to your flower garden, skimming the pool, and signing for packages either! I like to surprise, and wow, you & your pets. Complimentary treats, toys, teaching them a new trick, or getting the shy babies to open up like never before. I enjoy keeping things fun and exceeding the expectations. Can’t wait to meet your furry family! I offer overnight stays, drop-ins, and walks; all in the comfort of your home! In-home care removes the stressor of an unfamiliar environment for your furry friend. I work remotely, which gives me flexibility to stick to your pet’s schedule and offer plenty of one-on-one time. I am currently enrolled in college (Economics & Legal Studies program, yay!), so August-May I have classes. I am a commuting student, and I attend college about 30 minutes away. Class is usually 2x a week for ~3 hours 12:30-3:30pm. I will update if there is ever a schedule change or an event that will require me to be gone for a little longer. You'll get plenty of cute photo and video updates (frequency customized to your preference!) so you can feel confident your pet is happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I am Pet CPR & First Aid certified with a personal vet tech contact for additional peace of mind. A substantial part of my career is in the pet industry, so I am well-versed in central aspects of pet wellness and safety. Body language, chewing styles, vigilance against tick/flea/other disease vectors; please feel free to ask questions and see if any of my other skills meet your pets needs. I know more than my fair share on preventing unwanted pests bothering our pups and cats; I am vigilant with maintaining pet health by implementing best practices against flea, ticks, and mosquitoes.

About: Registered Veterinary Technician who works emergency medicine on the weekends looking for extra work through the week. I can’t stay at your house overnight, but your pet can come to mine. I can also do drop ins pretty regularly. I graduated college with a degree in Veterinary technology and passed my state boards. I work at an emergency clinic in Atlanta on the weekends and right now I’m free through the week. I can try my best to work out whatever you need help with. I’m skilled at giving medications and anything basic your pet may need in home, as well as lifesaving care due to any emergency. I can keep non child friendly cats in a different area, but dogs must be child friendly. I do have cats & ferrets, but they can be kept separately if your animals are not cat & small rodent friendly. I have 2 dogs as well. All of my animals are pet friendly with everything as many animals have come through my care fostering. I'm skilled in exotic pet care as well if necessary. I currently only work weekend overnights in the ER. So, I am home all week caring for my fur babies. As well as yours hopefully! I strive to care for anyone's else's pets exactly as I would my own. When they are with me, they are my babies too. I bring my ER compassion with me when I pet sit, in the ER the pets are without their owners & they are scared on top of being hurt. While my pet sits may not be hurt, I'm aware they could be nervous & unfamiliar. I try to treat them with the upmost compassion & kindness.

Now, my in-laws have a farm with 2 large breed dogs, goats, chickens and a mommy donkey and baby donkey which is my dream to have this as well! First thing in the morning I get my school aged girls breakfast going and the dogs and cats get their breakfast as well. The girls say their goodbyes and give loves before heading to school and the fur babies go in the backyard to play, use the potty and sunbathe or chill in the shade then back inside for some play, cuddles, or just hanging out. I really just go by what each fur baby’s preferences are. I’m a stay-at-home mom and this is my full-time job. So my day-to-day will be with your pet, loving them and caring for them just like or as close as I can to how you love and care for them. We have a large fenced in yard, but the dogs come and go in and out as they please. At bedtime they are in for the night and sleep in their crate or as we get more comfortable and see how they do on their bed or with the person they want to snuggle with that night. ***I do ask that pets are bathed before their arrival, just as a precaution for my pets, home and children. I deeply and sincerely appreciate the understanding in this request.***

About: The family or just myself enjoy walks with the dog, we call it “our exercise time.” I have small children, 5, 7 and 9 but we're all a big dog lover. We have a dog of our own who is 1 years old, shitzu, very playful. Our home is fenced. My husband works from home twice a week. Our daily schedule would be feeding the dogs before we leave and take them out twice before we head out to school or work and by 3:30pm - 4:00pm we're home and all about the pups. I have a fenced yard and I have a dog who can keep your pup company. If the weather is nice, I’ll let mine play in back for awhile until I see he’s getting tired or there’s no more breeze, it breaks me to see a dog just laying outside, haha. My children love animals and every chance they get, they'll give them hugs and lots of love. (Even if they see a dog in public lol) This is a nonsmoking household.

Katherine P.
“Katherine is a phenomenal pet caregiver. She has made my wife and my life so much easier and comfortable. Anytime we need to go out of town, she is willing and available to take care of our two dogs and cat. She always does an extraordinary job, not only maintaining the daily routines of each animal, but also keeping up with the daily tasks around the house. My wife and I do not trust many people with our fur babies, but Katherine is at the top of our shortlist. Our animals absolutely adore her and sometimes it feels like they’re more sad that she’s leaving than they are happy we are returning home. Katherine’s pet care is five star, two thumb’s up, an 11 out of 10. She has become an honorary member of the family over our years of working together and we would proudly recommend her to anyone looking to make sure their fur family is priority and exceptionally cared for.”
