“Emily is very responsible, she drove from far away and even with the bad traffic she managed to make it to take care of Hazel. She treated my little girl with love and care, she did everything that I asked of her. She also sent me pictures and videos while I was away. Hazel loved her! I highly recommend her to take care of your pet.”

About: I have had the pleasure with working with the biggest dogs to the smallest kittens. I’m also down to help out with mail or trash, just let me know! I do work a part time job and am an online student so my schedule if up in the air most of the time. However, I will make sure that I will work your best bud into my schedule as much as needed! I will take care of your fur balls as my own, if you have treats, I will be using them. I spoil my pets so I hope your ok with me spoiling yours, if they’re on a diet then that would be different of course.

“Carmen was wonderful! My travel plans changed at the last minute and she was great to work with as I sorted out a new plan. My cat and two dogs really enjoyed their time with her, and she took great care of the house. I'm looking forward to booking her again for future travel!”

About: I have been caring for friends and neighbors dogs, cats, and small animals since i was 13. I also volunteer at the PWC Animal Shelter! I am an incoming first year college student starting at Shenandoah University in the fall, i currently have a lot of availability all day, every day! I have a clean house and a large dog crate if you would like me to crate your dog, i have a friendly golden retreiver and two cats who are all great with other animals.

About: I have had dogs since I was a toddler and have grown up caring for them. I currently have one of my own (8yrs) who is my entire world. I currently work full time for a consulting firm but I am looking to do pet care part time. My weekends are usually open and weeknights are also pretty flexible. Pet sitting is my way of stopping myself from getting another dog. I love spending time with all animals, but especially in places where they feel comfortable. Each visit will involve a walk and some play time and a lot of love. I try to get my own dog out as much as possible so I would aim to do the same for yours as well.

About: I absolutely love animals and would consider it an honor to care for your furry family members when the need arises. I worked as a part-time pet and house sitter for 3 plus years in Northern Virginia and only stopped when I moved to Stephens City. I am looking forward starting up again to earn a little extra income. I am experienced in house sitting as well. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

“Laura was amazing! She went above and beyond to take care of our dog and cat while we were away for the holidays. It was clear that she takes great care in how she interacts with the pets she works with. We got so many photos and videos of our dog on adventures and playing and training around the house, we never worried about them at all. We even joked that the animals might prefer her to us because she was so good at keeping them entertained! Knowing our animals were being we'll loved was exactly the kind of peace of mind we needed and SO worth every penny. We can't thank Laura enough!”

“Jon did a great job house sitting for my dog and two cats, providing daily updates and photos. My dog, Yeti, has a lot of allergies and Jon went above and beyond with giving him a medicated bath, treating his skin, and keeping me updated with any symptoms. I would absolutely trust Jon to watch my pets again and recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable sitter.”

About: I’ve taken care of tons of dogs throughout my life, both my own and others. I have done this at others houses, as well as my own. I’ve taken care of big dogs mostly, and I also have experience with senior dogs (not so much with puppies). ABOUT ME: Hi, I’m a college junior currently working on Rover for the duration of Summer 2025. I am open to walking, sitting, boarding, and drop-ins. I’ve never met a dog I didn’t like, and I love having the opportunity to engage with new pets. I promise that if you book with me, your dog will receive the care and attention that it deserves for the duration of the booking. I will care for your pet as if it were my own. Expect multiple pictures and updates throughout the day. My goal is for owners to be able to trust that their pet is being given the same care under me that they’d be given under normal circumstances. Being in unfamiliar environments can be terrifying for many dogs, and I utilize the experiences i’ve had with numerous dogs over the years to provide a loving, yet safe, home for the dogs. I am currently working full-time, but I have free-time on weekends and some weekdays. Pet care has always been a priority, whether my own pets or others. I prefer morning drop offs and pickups due to my schedule. I love to stay active, so incorporating walks into my day is easy. In my home I take the dogs for walks around the neighborhood on a consistent basis, and the same applies to the homes of others. If the owner is interested, I also take dogs to the park (off-leash area if able) and give them a nice bit of exercise. I encourage meet and greets for boarding, because I want to be certain that our dogs will get along! I have one XL kennel for dogs, so no need to bring one. I try to replicate the environment that the dogs have at home, so if the dogs sleep in a cage then I try to do the same here. If they sleep on a couch/bed, the same applies.

“Megan is a blessing. Sent us lots of photos and videos of our pups while we were away and missing them. She left our home very clean for us too. She put our minds at ease for our first trip away from our pups.”

About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is the genuine love and deep respect I have for every animal in my care. With over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for cats, dogs, birds, chickens, and more, I fully understand the responsibility that comes with pet sitting—it’s more than just feeding and walking. I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring their comfort, safety, and happiness while you're away. Whether I’m staying in your home or doing daily drop-ins, I bring the same level of care, reliability, and attention to detail every time. I pride myself on open and frequent communication with pet owners. You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and check-ins from my phone so you’re always reassured that everything is going smoothly. I also come with solid references from happy clients who can vouch for the trust and peace of mind I bring. Your home and pets will always be treated with the utmost respect and care. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a meet-and-greet, feel free to contact me love to connect! P.S I pet-sit for cats and dogs! Pet sitting fits well into my schedule, as I work a consistent shift from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM in Manassas. I’m always available in the mornings for breakfast, walks, and check-ins before I head to work, and I return in the evenings for dinner, evening walks, and quality time with your pets. When I’m not able to come home during the midday hours—especially if I'm not near the Fairfax area—I have a trusted and reliable colleague who can stop by for a drop-in visit between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM. I understand how important you and your pet's comfort and safety is, and I have references available to ensure peace of mind to my client if someone else is assisting during those hours during 11-12pm On weekends, I am fully available to be with your pets, and I spend plenty of time giving them attention, playtime, and outdoor exercise. Many clients are happy with the balance of structure, care, and activity I provide, especially when their pets get to burn off energy and enjoy the outdoors. My clients and I have had excellent experiences with this routine—we’ve found that it works well when I’m away at work and my colleague covers the midday visit, followed by me returning home to feed, walk, and stay with your pets for the rest of the evening and overnight. I’m always happy to provide references, both for myself and for my colleague, to help reassure you that your pets will be safe, loved, and well cared for in our hands. I am a nurturing, loving, and attentive pet sitter who treats every dog as if they were my own. Whether it's relaxing together on the couch for some quiet cuddle time or running around outside during an energetic play session, I always meet each pet where they’re at emotionally and physically. If the client is comfortable, I also include water playtime (like with the water hose or kiddie pools) for dogs that enjoy it, which is a fun way for them to cool off and stay active. Physical activity is always a big part of the care I provide daily walks, jogs, and time spent outside help keep your dog happy, healthy, and stimulated. I tailor all activities to your pet’s energy level and personality, and I make sure they feel loved and secure at all times. In your home, I maintain a high level of respect for your space while ensuring your pet gets the care, affection, and structure they’re used to. With over 10 years of experience in pet sitting, I understand the importance of keeping pets in their familiar environment, and I work to maintain their routines and comfort. For example, I recently cared for a senior Labrador who preferred short walks and lots of cozy nap time, I followed his schedule exactly, administered his medications on time, and sent regular updates to the owners so they felt completely at ease. I’m happy to offer references from past clients to reassure you of my professionalism and reliability. Your pet’s well being is always my top priority, and I’m more than willing to communicate openly and clearly about any concerns to give you complete peace of mind.

“Mackenzie stayed with my two dogs and two cats overnight. The whole crew is used to my being around a lot so I knew I needed someone to stay here. I came home to happy animals who didn’t seem to miss me at all! I will definitely use her again.”

“Virginia was able to take care of our pooches for us during a recent overnight camping trip. As soon as she came over to meet the dogs before our trip, we knew they'd be in perfect hands. They both immediately loved her and I am definitely one of those people who trust my dogs' instincts when it comes to people :-) Both of them immediately start vying for her attention and I knew there was no way they'd even notice we were gone. We were so happy to have Virginia close by and able to watch our pups. We'll definitely be working with her again!”

About: - Please note: On my property I have created a private fenced dog park and will pick u your fur baby, travel to my private dog park, spend a few hours having amazing fun and then travel back home, happy as can be and exhausted! - I have been a volunteer and foster of shelter animals as well as rescuing and providing a forever home for animals for many years. I worked at a shelter for a short time before resigning to open my own animal rescue. Working at an animal shelter opened my eyes to so many issues and reasons why people surrender their animals. I am currently in the process of opening an animal rescue through fostering each animal while finding a forever home for them. In addition, my rescue will focus on educating the public on the responsibilities of owning an animal over its lifetime. Opening a Non Profit rescue is what I am doing in my spare time because I have to continue to earn a living to provide for my family. Dog/cat sitting is the perfect profession for me because I get to continue to work with animals on a full-time basis and I feel this is the area in which I thrive and can continue to help with providing the best care possible. Over the years I have learned something from every animal I have worked with and/or owned. In recent years, I have completed training in Behavior Adjustment Training and The DO NO HARM DOG TRAINING AND BEHAVIOR HANDBOOK. I have the skills to know how to positively and appropriately approach animals as well as interact with them in a healthy way. In addition, I have the skills to quickly earn the trust of an animal. I am hoping that caring for animals will become my profession because I feel that I thrive in this area. Animals are the food for my soul and it would be a dream come true to work with them on a full-time basis. In my home and in my client’s home I practice what I have learned through attending dog training school as well as reading and practicing “THE DO NO HARM DOG TRAINING AND BEHAVIOR HANDBOOK.” Through school and experience I have learned how to appropriately approach animals, how to interact in a positive manner and how to gain the trust of an animal. In addition, I have the skills to positively interact with animals that may have difficulty walking on a leash, excessive jumping and much more.

“We can’t recommend Sara enough! She recently cared for our two dogs, Frankie and Lulu, as well as our fish, and went above and beyond by making sure the bird feeder was stocked for the wild birds. Her attentiveness and thoughtfulness were evident from day one. She sent us daily updates and plenty of pictures of Frankie and Lulu, which kept us reassured and connected while we were away. It was clear Sara treated our home and pets as if they were her own. Frankie and Lulu were happy and relaxed when we returned, and everything in the house was spotless. Knowing our pets were in such good hands made our time away completely stress-free. We’re so grateful for Sara and would absolutely trust her again in the future!”
