“This is the first time I've had a sitter stay in my house instead of boarding my girls. After meeting Kathy and seeing how much my younger dog loved her, I felt confident in leaving for a week. However, she went above and beyond to love on my dogs so they wouldn't be upset that I was gone. She communicated daily, sent pictures, and tailored her schedule around the dog's needs. Kathy was also flexible when the dogfood unexpectedly ran out and I had to order more while out of the country. She offered to get food for them locally and then modified their feeding schedule while waiting for the food shipment. Both dogs were happy and healthy when I got home and its clear they were well loved and taken care of. The house was also cleaner than when I left! I've already asked Kathy if she is available for my next trip!”

I do work a part time job and am an online student so my schedule if up in the air most of the time. However, I will make sure that I will work your best bud into my schedule as much as needed! About: I have had dogs since I was a toddler and have grown up caring for them. I currently have one of my own (8yrs) who is my entire world. I currently work full time for a consulting firm but I am looking to do pet care part time. My weekends are usually open and weeknights are also pretty flexible. Pet sitting is my way of stopping myself from getting another dog. I love spending time with all animals, but especially in places where they feel comfortable. Each visit will involve a walk and some play time and a lot of love. I try to get my own dog out as much as possible so I would aim to do the same for yours as well.

I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I can house sit, drop in or stay with your pet as long as you need someone. My dog has a fenced in yard and is at day care for socialization M-F so I can have my full attention on your dog. I currently work from home part time so I have plenty of time for your pet! I am awake early and have a flexible schedule to fit yours. I make sure you and your pet are comfortable with me and follow instruction when caring for your pet. About: - Please note: On my property I have created a private fenced dog park and will pick u your fur baby, travel to my private dog park, spend a few hours having amazing fun and then travel back home, happy as can be and exhausted! - I have been a volunteer and foster of shelter animals as well as rescuing and providing a forever home for animals for many years. I worked at a shelter for a short time before resigning to open my own animal rescue. Working at an animal shelter opened my eyes to so many issues and reasons why people surrender their animals. I am currently in the process of opening an animal rescue through fostering each animal while finding a forever home for them. In addition, my rescue will focus on educating the public on the responsibilities of owning an animal over its lifetime. Opening a Non Profit rescue is what I am doing in my spare time because I have to continue to earn a living to provide for my family. Dog/cat sitting is the perfect profession for me because I get to continue to work with animals on a full-time basis and I feel this is the area in which I thrive and can continue to help with providing the best care possible. Over the years I have learned something from every animal I have worked with and/or owned. In recent years, I have completed training in Behavior Adjustment Training and The DO NO HARM DOG TRAINING AND BEHAVIOR HANDBOOK. I have the skills to know how to positively and appropriately approach animals as well as interact with them in a healthy way. In addition, I have the skills to quickly earn the trust of an animal. I am hoping that caring for animals will become my profession because I feel that I thrive in this area. Animals are the food for my soul and it would be a dream come true to work with them on a full-time basis. In my home and in my client’s home I practice what I have learned through attending dog training school as well as reading and practicing “THE DO NO HARM DOG TRAINING AND BEHAVIOR HANDBOOK.” Through school and experience I have learned how to appropriately approach animals, how to interact in a positive manner and how to gain the trust of an animal.
