Always happy for any chance to spend time with dogs/cats and help relieve stress on their owners. I work from home full time and have an incredibly friendly/energetic dog of my own. He loves playing with other dogs, so you can count on their constant stimulation. I have a house with an unfenced yard located in the Apple Mountain Lake community. I will generally crate your pooch overnight, and may ask you to bring one along if you are boarding more than one dog at a time.
About: I got my first dog at the age of 10 and trained him myself, aswell as other family dogs we grew to love over the years. Now 30, I have 2 pups of my own that I’ve given my whole world to. I love my animals as if they are family and yours would be no different. I believe animals bring out the best in us & I try to bring the out the best in them when I can instill any behavioral help! I’m currently working part-time and spend the rest of my day as a homemaker while my son is in preschool so I would have plenty of time to handle your pups after I drop my son off in the morning. About: What sets me apart is my personal experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and life stages. I’ve raised and cared for five dogs throughout my life, including Labs, Golden Retrievers, Chihuahuas, and German Shepherds, so I understand the very different needs of small, medium, and large breeds. I trained my own puppy from 8 weeks old, teaching her a wide range of tricks and good behaviors, which gave me a lot of patience and training skills. I begin graduate school in the fall online and will practically have no big everyday commitments. I have a few vacations planned but besides that I am an open book willing to work anytime. I currently work full time for a consulting firm but I am looking to do pet care part time. My weekends are usually open and weeknights are also pretty flexible. Pet sitting is my way of stopping myself from getting another dog. I love spending time with all animals, but especially in places where they feel comfortable. Each visit will involve a walk and some play time and a lot of love. I try to get my own dog out as much as possible so I would aim to do the same for yours as well.
About: I have always loved taking care of and spending time with all sorts of animals. I have personally trained two of my own dogs and have helped out with training for friends and family. I have walked and exercised dogs of all ages and sizes. I have raised puppies and kittens from birth and am very experienced with care before and after birth for the moms. About: I cared for my dog Bear for 15 years until he passed last year. I have experience caring for senior dogs, giving medication, lifting and assisting walking. We don’t have a fenced in yard but we have 10 acres for the dogs to walk and play. Caring for dogs fits easily into my daily routine. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and done training and dog walking in a shelter as a volunteer. I love getting dogs outside and letting them run around. I have been hiking with my dog for his entire life and was able to train him on the leash and off the leash to allow us to have the freedom to run free and the ability to get him on the leash and behave around other dogs and people on the road and on the trails.
