“Kevin was great with our beloved boy. Our dog is a rescue, a former stray, and he can be vey nervous of strangers, especially adult men. Instead of cowering in his presence, Kevin had our dog happily playing within minutes. Just remarkable. Kevin showed great poise, enthusiasm, and gentleness. He made the whole process of our first Rover experience so easy. In short, Kevin was great! And we will absolutely call on him again. Thank you Kevin!”

About: As a pet lover and owner of a small senior dog, I understand the importance of finding a caring, reliable sitter. I’ve looked after dogs, cats, and even birds—helping friends in times of need and ensuring their pets feel safe and loved. I’m active and enjoy being outside. I’m also flexible and adaptable to your pet’s routine, making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away I’m quite flexible and can make most schedules work! Since I live in the desert full-time, I’m readily available to help—whether it’s an early morning walk, an evening check-in, or anything in between. Your pet’s comfort and well-being are my top priorities. Whether in your home or mine, I create a calm, safe, and loving environment tailored to their needs. I follow their routines, respect their space, and ensure they feel secure—whether that means belly rubs on demand, quiet companionship, or sticking to their favorite walking route. I also take safety seriously, keeping a close eye on their surroundings and following any special instructions to ensure peace of mind for both you and your pet. My goal? Happy tails, purrs, and an stress-free experience for everyone!

“Our timid, 9 year old dog had a great day yesterday with Lynn and her dog, Lucy. Lynn was agreeable to a meet and greet the day before to ensure our dog would be comfortable in her home and that made all the difference. We were able to enjoy a worry free day. Thank you Lynn!”

“Jeanette is wonderful with my 8 month old husky puppy! Kierja had surgery that set her back in her socialization. Jeanette knew just what to do, arranged for puppy to have short play times with more mature dog & other times to herself. We are so lucky to have found this daycare & loving home. Highly recommend Jeanette to all pet owners.”

“Beautiful house and yard; Jeannie very tolerant friendly lady with our lively pups and her dog played with our dogs. I highly recommend this place if you're in the Palm Desert area.”

“Dolores did an incredible job caring for our nervous pup all day! She answered all of our questions, sent some adorable photos, took our dog for more walks than he normally gets, and overall just did a great job handling our fur baby. 100% would recommend!”

About: Ever since I can remember, myself as well as my family have loved and enjoyed dogs and they have always been a part of our family. I got my first puppy when I was 12 years old. She was a rescue and I had her until I was 26 years old. Her name was Molly. We had many other dogs during that time. My sister's and I were who cared for them all. Although this is my first time running a business caring for dogs, I have taken care of dogs most of my life. Some people call themselves a "people person". I call myself a "dog person". I have always had a natural ability to connect with dogs. Dogs have always loved being with me. I care for them as if they were a child of mine. As I always have said, the more I get to know people; the more I love dogs!

About: Animals aren’t just pets to me they’re family. With years of hands on experience caring for everything from high energy puppies to senior cats, I bring a deep sense of responsibility, patience, and love to every animal I meet. I treat every pet like they’re my own, paying attention to their unique personalities and needs. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or just some company while you’re away, I’m here to make sure your furry friend feels safe, happy, and loved. As a stay at home mom with a flexible schedule, I have the time, energy, and heart to give your pet plenty of attention and care. I’m naturally active and love spending time outdoors, so your pet can look forward to fun filled days with lots of play, fresh air, and companionship. Whether it’s running around the yard, going for walks, or just cuddling up for a nap, I’ll make sure they feel right at home. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I care for animals in my home, located on a peaceful property in wine country with plenty of space to run, play, and explore. Whether they’re here for a short stay or extended visit, you can trust they’ll be treated like family.

About: From a very young age I learned to care for pets and farm animals. In 4-H I studied animal husbandry. As an adult, I have had many dogs and cats. I love them as my family. My last two rescue dogs (American Pit Bull Terriers) made it to almost 13 years old before they crossed the rainbow bridge over the last few years. I am not ready for my own new family member, but I still miss the companionship of animals. So it just seems right to take care of yours. I am semi-retired, so I am free on most weekdays except Wednesdays. I get up early and do chores around the house in the morning, then go outside for a bit in the afernoons unless it is too hot. I live on 40 acres in the countryside. It's not fenced but I can take your pups for a great walk around the property on a leash. I have 3 spare bedrooms if they need quiet space. Or I have a kennel in my bedroom if they like to be with someone.

About: I am truly a die hard dog lover and I treat every dog as if it were my own. I currently have two dogs and I know how it feels to have to entrust another person to care for them in the same way you would. I've had pets (cats & dogs) my entire life. All animals are different, like humans, and my approach is to provide a bespoke experience to make her/his/their time with me the best ever! As much information as you can share about your pet the better I can create the ultimate vacation for your furbaby! Walks, hikes, dog park, relax and chill, bathing, Play dates, beach, … Pick-up & Drop-off is included in my rate complimentary. I can provide references as well for your comfortability. Thank you! I work from home and have a flexible work schedule so I can adjust my time to what is needed. My goal is to make your pet as comfortable and happy as possible. I have a large wrap around deck that is closed off with pet gates. I am outside if dogs are outside I am extremely mindful and present while with your pet.

In addition, I have known her to buy her pets sweaters in the winter so they are warm and cute. If you are looking for someone to watch and care for your pet, they will be safe and well-cared for by Melissa H.”

Kellie L.
“Kellie, is the dream dog walker and care provider. She has a very kind, calm demeanor. She’s always joking around and singing to my dogs, too. They LOVE her (haha sometimes I get “paranoid” but she assures me she is the nanny and I am still mom!). One of my dogs barks at pretty much anything. Kellie has been able to keep her focused and calm until the distraction passes, quite impressive! She’s fabulous.”
