About: Iâve been around dogs my whole life and currently care for a multi-dog household of my own, so Iâm very comfortable managing different personalities, energy levels, and routines. From high-energy breeds that need structure and exercise to older dogs who just want a calm, predictable environmentâI adjust my care to fit what your dog actually needs. I have hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding routines, crate training, basic commands, and monitoring group dynamics to keep things safe and stress-free. Iâm especially mindful when introducing dogs, supervising play, and making sure everyone gets attention without things becoming chaotic or overwhelming. Iâm also used to keeping a close eye on behavior and healthâchanges in appetite, energy, or mood donât go unnoticed. If something seems off, I catch it early and communicate right away. Above all, I treat every dog like theyâre my own: safe, structured, and well cared for⌠with a little extra spoiling mixed in. Your dog wonât just be watchedâtheyâll be known, understood, and genuinely cared about while theyâre with me. I work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility to build my day around the dogs in my careânot the other way around. Iâm able to accommodate a variety of routines, including specific feeding schedules, medication timing, crate needs, or just extra attention for dogs who need it. Structured potty breaks are offered at least every 2 hours, and Iâm home throughout the day to provide consistent supervision, interaction, care and additional breaks if needed. Whether your dog thrives on structure or needs a little extra flexibility, I can adjust to what works best for them to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. All care is provided in my home, where I keep things calm, structured, and closely supervised. Because Iâm home throughout the day, dogs are not left unattended for long periods, and Iâm able to actively monitor behavior, play, and overall well-being. Iâm very intentional about safetyâintroductions are done slowly and thoughtfully, and I pay close attention to each dogâs temperament to make sure everyone is a good fit. I donât allow chaotic, unsupervised group play. Instead, I keep things controlled so dogs can feel comfortable, not overwhelmed. My home is dog-friendly and set up with both secure indoor space and safe outdoor access for potty breaks and fresh air. I also maintain clean routines for feeding, water, and rest areas to keep everything consistent and stress-free. Above all, I treat every dog like theyâre my ownâkept safe, well cared for, and genuinely looked after, not just âwatched.â
âWe were on our way to the Ark Encounter and needed a place for our two dogs to stay. Mariah and Anthony were kind enough to take them in for the day. Our dogs felt right at home. They have a nice fenced in back yard and was very safe for them to play in. Their two German Shepherds were very nice and friendly and got a long great with our two dogs. Mariah and Anthony were very friendly and we wouldnât hesitate to use them again if we were in the area.â

About: I've always have dog in my life, and my passion for dogs will last forever. My friend told me that I don't treat my dogs as dogs but babies. Remember, a genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being are at the heart of any successful pet care experience! I'm currently full time house wife with 2 dogs, no kids. My daily routines are my dogs, so I have a lot of time to watch yours too! We walk 4 times a day, and enjoy homemade dog treat and food. I don't have yard so I walk dogs instead (3-4 times a day), and I always clean them right after walking so they are allowed on furniture. Remember, a walk a day keep vet away. I do have crates if needed.

About: Weâve had animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up on a farm in southern KY I am used to caring for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, birds, miniature pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, etc! Our animals have always been apart of our family and go where we go! Our animals are allowed on the furniture, sleep in our bed, and love to visit our parents house! I am a stay at home mom so adding a pet into our daily routine is actually pretty easy! Weâre used to care for our own dog! We just have them join whatever weâre doing which makes it easier. I have two Littles who love to play outside and take them walks so I usually just have our pups tag along! Our pups routine is usually out to pee in the morning, a walk after her breakfast, lots of outdoor play or sunbathe time while me and my two kiddos play our back, another walk once the kids take their naps, more play time with the kids, another walk after dinner, then a pee break before we get into bed for the night! Iâm home all day as a stay at home mom and my husband is fully remote so our pup is used to having somewhere there for whatever she needs or when we do go out and about if weâre able to we take her! Our dog frequents our parents house for even more cuddles and play! Animals are always part of the family on our end.
âAngel, We we're very pleased, she was very accommodating to our needs, and our time. As a pet parent you get a feel your pet is at ease with the sitter. Our Buddy went straight inside as we dropped him off, not even a see you later! High recommend Angel.â

âHailey was great with our toy poodle Josie! She was also very accommodating with a very short notice so we could get to see the Ark Experience! Thank you very much Hailey! đâ

âSo great! My puppy Steve loves going to Kimberly's house he has lots of playtime with the other dogs that are there, Kimberly keeps in contact with me sending pictures of my pup playing, she takes them on walks! I couldn't be more happy with the doggie daycare, Steve is much more happy and stimulated and I'm relaxed knowing he's being well taken care of and getting the love and attention he needsâ

âLeeann was amazing with a last minute booking and being so flexible on drop off and pick up times. Thank you for finding a calm room for her to stay where she was comfortable too!â

âKerri was wonderful, I would definitely recommend her if you need someone to take care of your fur baby. Very patient, attentive, and all around genuine person. Got us out of a bind this holiday weekend with my Mikko. I canât thank her enough.â

About: I have owned and helped take care of my familyâs animals since I was around 6 years old. I am a dog mom to a 4 year old golden retriever and she is my world. I would love to do anything that I can to help you and take care of your pet while you are away or just need an extra hand. I can go on walks with them, play with them, feed them, and keep them safe! I can also help bathe them and keep them groomed by brushing them. I am a photographer so I have relatively open availability. If youâre interested in hiring me, please let me know and we can talk about your pet and your expectations for me as a sitter. Looking forward to talking with you and meeting with your pets!! My dog is my entire world so I know exactly how anyone who trusts their pet with anyone else feels. There is so much love and support coming from my side of taking care of them. I talk to them like they are people and give them reassurance when it rains or when they miss you. For stop ins, itâs super easy for me to sit with them for up to an hour, giving them affection and company. For my own dog, we go on walks a lot and do tricks and puzzles to ensure brain exercise during the day. I do not have a fenced in yard yet, but we do walk with a leash around the town as well as use a beeping and vibrating collar to keep pets in our yard.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 234 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Antioch. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your petâwhether thatâs early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Antioch commute.
If your schedule changes, itâs best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dogâs fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0â7 kilograms and/or 7â18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pupâs socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dogâs pack, check the sitterâs profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Roverâs commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 234 sitters in Antioch, 85% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
