“I left my little guy (cat) home for two weeks, for the first time. Jen was communicative during each drop-in, sent pictures, reported his behavior (even when he tried to follow her home!) and made me feel comfortable that he was in good hands my whole vacation. She even brought in boxes that we delivered. I will most definitely ask Jen for her services in the future!!”

“Melanie was fantastic! We took a longer trip and she was so helpful and caring to our 3 cats. We got regular pictures and she was also so communicative, answering very quickly. We cannot recommend her again and will definitely be working with her in the future. Thanks so much again Melanie!”

“Neena was the first person we’ve ever hired through Rover. She is professional, communicative, and most importantly, very caring for animals. From the pre-visit to the last day of our vacation, she made sure to make us feel as though our cats were in great hands. One of our cats has diabetes, and requires specific care instructions. Neena knew exactly what needed to be done and made sure to go above and beyond when looping us in about shot administrations and times. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trained caretaker for their pets. This will not be the last time we book her!”

“Gina was a great fit for us! She sent us a great report daily and spent plenty of time with my attention-loving cat! I would recommend her to everyone and will definitely be booking with her again in the future!”

About: I have had pets in my life since before I could walk. My oldest personal pet is a 21 yr old cat I've had since she was 4 weeks old. I have spent the majority of the past 7 years heavily involved in animal rescue. I've volunteered at humane societies, taken part in TNR programs and continue to rescue any animal that crosses my path. Currently I have multiple families who's animals I pet sit for. I have a vast knowledge in regards to both cats and dogs and their many needs, from neonates to senior care; I've done it all. I currently work from 12-4 Monday-Friday at my family business. My schedule is very open/flexible to any needs your pet may require. On weekends I work at a horse barn for around an hour in the afternoon. Other than the short time I am there my weekends are very open. I have 5 rescue cats of my own, all with varying care levels. My knowledge and level of care for my personal pets will help me to meet all of you and your pets' needs!

About: It was never quiet growing up with as many as four dogs in the house at a time (plus a cat, bird, hamster, turtles, geckos, and fish - and working at a local horse barn throughout high school and college). It’s not quiet now as my senior rescue dachshund loves to let you know when the mail lady has dared to leave a package on the porch. All that to say, I’m comfortable and have always been around a variety of pets. Since Dec. 2023, I’ve been a volunteer dog walker for Humane Animal Partners (HAP), in Rehoboth. There, I’ve walked countless dogs, ranging from ones who are ready to take on the world to ones who need to know you’ve got their back and need you to go slow. I have experience taking care of older dogs, my first rescue was 9 when I got him and my current rescue is 11 and a slow mover. I work from home during normal business and have some flexibility during the day depending on the day. I can do overnight stays during the work-week, but need to discuss your pet’s daytime needs to make sure it’s a good fit. I’m happy to give your dog the time and attention s/he needs to be as relaxed as possible while you’re away. Between having shy dogs of my own and volunteering at the animal shelter, I give dogs space and allow them time to sniff and warm up to me before we go out. I’ll take your lead as to things I need to know about what makes your dog’s personality shine.

“Janine is what I’ve been hoping for with regards to someone coming in and tending to my dogs. She’s trustworthy, timely, and cares sincerely for my Westies. What more could I ask for!!”

“I was in a pinch looking for a last minute drop in and Michele was able to accommodate us. I also had to change the time by an hour and she was still willing to accommodate. Michele sent pictures of Harley while she was visiting and everything went better than expected. Looking forward to using her again in the future!”

“Genevieve was very caring toward my Cali and eventually was able to pet her. She was very timely, careful and thorough in her care of my cat. She brought her helpers and the boys were the true cat whisperers.”

Angola Landing cat parents share their Rover experiences
Patty is without a doubt the best rover we have had yet! She took great care of our fur babies, medicated our senior cat with ease, provided detailed messages with several pictures daily, and even got our shy guy out from under the bed to play! If you’re looking for someone to check in on your cats, I couldn’t recommend her more!

Patty was fantastic, kind, gentle, got my mail in & watered the front porch plants in the awful heat. My cat, Oscar, seemed to love her!! He generally takes some time to warm up to people but seemed to need no time with Patty! I would absolutely recommend her for any future trips & intend to have her help me again!! Thanks Patty & Rover....
