“Marvina was absolutely amazing and so accommodating! This was the longest I had left my rescue pup. (1 week) I was nervous for sure, however! That quickly went away as soon as I met her and saw the beautiful “summer camp for dogs ” that is her home! Her property is huge for the pups to run around and play. I had some last minute changes including being later on pick up time due to traffic. I got up to date pictures and reassurance that he was having a great time. I highly recommend treating your pup to this sanctuary! I will absolutely be using her services again and possibly work out a joint custody arrangement! 😂 My pup seems depressed now that he’s back home. Thank you again!!!”

“This is the third time I've had Leanne do drop-in visits for my kitty Bandit. I had to contact Leanne urgently as we needed to go out of town unexpectedly for my father's funeral. Leanne was very prompt with responding back to me and was able to do drop-in visits kind of last minute for several days. Leanne is super efficient and prompt and always gave me a detailed Rover card after each visit with a few photos. It was a load off my mind that Bandit was well cared for during this difficult time for me.”
About: I grew up around animals and have been responsible for caring for both dogs and cats since I was around ten years old. I have a lot of experience with cat sitting and cat check-ins for friends and family as well. I have owned animals, both dogs and cats, well into their senior years and understand the differences in care older animals can require. About: Lifelong dog and cat owner and lover, when I was younger I often took care in walking and watching dogs and cats when neighbors were away, and recently moved and have a lot of free time and heard about rover and thought it would be a great way to get back into it. I’m currently only working part time from home with flexible hours so I’m available everyday (with rare exception) to walk, watch, sit, play, or help out with any other form of care your need your furry (or scaly) little friends need! I look to hopefully recreate (to some capacity) the environment your animal is used to even though you aren’t there, to care for your little guy or gal in whichever way you are most comfortable and they are most used to. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 5 years old, usually 2 at a time, and am now a proud Dog Mom to Lola, who I bring with me when I am caring overnight for dogs. I am very good with training, and will happily follow your methods and keywords to reinforce good behavior with your dogs. I am also open to caring for cats, fish, hamsters, etc., as I have had various animals as pets over the years. For walks and house visits, my service radius is basically Long Neck, Oak Orchard, Harbeson, Angola by the Bay. For housesitting, I will travel up to 10 miles from Long Neck, and housesitting requests if my dog is permitted in your home as well, of course only when I am physically present. (She rides around in the car with me when weather permits, or stays with my roommate or parents in other cases.) I will only accept overnight assignments when I can bring my dog with me, so only work for 1 or 2 dog households. I currently work as a part-time consultant from home, and part-time as a waitress some evenings. I generally can provide potty breaks every 4 hours, as I have flexibility with my hours, but will be out of the house 3-4 times a week for up to 8 hours during the tourist season. I will care for your pets in your home, or on walks, according to your instructions. When caring for pets in your home, I am also willing to provide additional services such a light housekeeping, cooking or laundry, as time allows, sometimes for an addition fee. I was vaccinated against COVID-19, and have taken one booster. I will housesit when I will be staying overnight and can bring my dog with me as well, as she will stay with me on days I am not working.

Our dog Rusty is a Coast Guard dog so is used to having friends stay over while Mark's Coast Guard members are away visiting family. We love animals. I currently work at an animal hospital and a doggy daycare. I have availability any mornings and evenings. I also have full availability Saturday early afternoons and Sundays! I am very reliable and will follow any specific rules you have for your pet and will make sure you and your pet have a very positive experience! About: i’ve grown up around all types of animals and i’ve been asked by friends to watch their animals for days or a few hours etc i work 5 days ago and off wednesday-thursday but am avaible during the day and at night on sundays from 3 - to whatever time i have 4 acres of land plus i have 2 very friendly dogs who would love to gain some more dog friends who will play
About: I’ve cared for a medium sized mutt for 9 years. So I’m capable of handling any age. Neighbors and family have relied on me to walk and care for puppies too, such as boxers and Australian shepherds and pit bulls I love to wake up early in the morning to get my day started. I usually take my dog on an early morning walk, then again after lunch, and one more time before bed. Excluding the time that he is allowed in the backyard too. Walks include in the neighborhood, the woods, and he loves carousel park! My dog is older and very well behaved so we let him out in our large backyard that has woods attached, however we may also tie him up on the line.
About: I grew up around animals and have been responsible for caring for both dogs and cats since I was around ten years old. I have dog sat with overnight stays and dog walked for many friends and family members. I also have experience with cat sitting and cat check-ins as well. I have owned animals, both dogs and cats, well into their senior years and understand the differences in care older animals can require. I have had to raise a kitten from two weeks and am familiar with bottle feeding and round the clock care. I absolutely love to walk so I greatly enjoy getting my steps in with a doggie friend. In general, I just love being around animals and would love to help take care of your pet! I'm currently working freelance so my schedule is quite flexible to fit in pet care! Since I have flexible work I am available during traditional work hours for those who need help during that time. I can also make evening and weekends work as well. On walks, I am very alert and watchful of the animal and always make sure they are safe and secure. I keep a watchful on other dogs on walks to ensure safety as well. When doing house visits, I always ensure the animal has everything it needs and gets lots of love and attention. If I am staying in a client's home, I follow all house rules and keep things tidy. When boarding dogs, I have a fenced in yard they can enjoy and four house cats that are very dog friendly.

“Marvina was absolutely amazing and so accommodating! This was the longest I had left my rescue pup. (1 week) I was nervous for sure, however! That quickly went away as soon as I met her and saw the beautiful “summer camp for dogs ” that is her home! Her property is huge for the pups to run around and play. I had some last minute changes including being later on pick up time due to traffic. I got up to date pictures and reassurance that he was having a great time. I highly recommend treating your pup to this sanctuary! I will absolutely be using her services again and possibly work out a joint custody arrangement! 😂 My pup seems depressed now that he’s back home. Thank you again!!!”

About: I love dogs and up until 3 months ago I had a rescue dog for 8 years until she developed serious medical issuse and I had her euthanized. I miss here and she was spoiled and I will do the same for your dog. I will provide plenty of walks and a nice fenced in backyard where your pet can roam free to do whatever. I allowed my dog to have free roam of my house, and your pet will have the same freedom, and I have a nice porch where your pet can lay outside and enjoy the sights. I am 75 and a retired RN. I live alone so my schedule is very flexible, with the appropriate notification. I am an early riser so your pet will be let out back first thing in the morning, then - 2or 3 walks during the day. I have a fenced in backyard and a fenced in deck above the garage so your pet can be safe in either one of the locations.
“My dog stayed with Jill for a few days over the 4th of July weekend. Jill could not have made it any easier or my dog more comfortable. She has a fenced back yard to allow the dogs to play! My dog hardly noticed when I left. Jill sends timely photos and is always quick to respond to messages. We've already booked our dog's second stay with Jill. Couldn't recommend her enough.”
“Let me start by saying we’ve never left our dogs overnight let alone with a total stranger. We left for 9 days and have 3 dogs and I was so nervous and had a thousand questions and accommodations I needed fulfilled. Samantha was absolutely incredible. If I could give 100 stars I would. My dogs were so loved and cared for the entire time they were in her care. The pictures I got each day were just filled with joy in each of my dogs faces. If I could afford to send them there for playtime everyday I definitely would!!! Two of my dogs had stomach issues on the 5th day or so and she made them chicken and rice and pumpkin for their meals until they felt better. She trimmed their nails. She washed their bedding. I mean what more could you ask for?! Do not hesitate in sending your animals with her. She is the best of the best! I will be sending my dogs to her house anytime we go out of town… worry free!!”
