We absolutely feel comfortable leaving our two old boys with him again in the future.”

I love exploring the neighborhood, hitting local trails, and making sure every dog gets the exercise and stimulation they deserve. I've grown up around dogs my whole life, and my family's Goldendoodle has been my greatest teacher when it comes to patience, play, and attentive care. As for availability, I work remotely, which means I have real flexibility throughout the week to accommodate your schedule. Whether you need a consistent midday walk or something more spontaneous, I'm able to make it work. Your dog won't be rushed, they'll get my full attention for every minute of our time together. I take pet care seriously and know how much trust it takes to hand your dog's leash to someone new. Pet care has always been a big part of my daily life. I grew up with my family Goldendoodle where I walked, fed and played everyday. Even though I don’t have a dog right now since I’ve moved away from home, I still love being around animals and make time for long walks and outdoor time every day. I work a remote job so taking care of pets easily fits into my routine because it’s something I truly enjoy and miss doing regularily. When I walk dogs, I want to make sure they get both exercise and enrichment. I want to keep the pups walks safe, consistent, and fun, paying attention to their comfort, hydration and any cues they give me.

About: I was a dog mom for 17 yrs. I had two dogs, Kiya and Elvis, who were the best friends a girl could ever ask for. Sadly, they are both gone now. I have watched dogs for friends and family and I volunteer at my local animal shelter. I find so much joy in it. I'm semi-retired now so I have found I have a lot more time to do both now. I would love to care for your dogs. I never met a dog I don't like. I know it can take time for some dogs to trust and I accept that, especially with the shelter dogs. I always miss the dogs I've watched and the dogs who get adopted. From the time I was a small child, I have been drawn to animals. I'm semi-retired now so I'm frequently available to care for your dogs. It can be a potty break on a long work day, a weekend get away or a vacation. I've watched dogs as small as a 3 lb chihuahua to a 75 lb lab. I easily adapt to whatever routine and care your dogs are used to. I have an agreement with myself that I don't leave your dogs unless I absolutely have to. I've watched dogs in Florida and Colorado where I was encouraged to venture out and enjoy myself but I preferred to do that with their dogs or not at all. I will treat them with the utmost care, after all they are like your children. I'm happy to have them sleep with me if that's what they feel best with. My dogs slept with me every night. I respect if people crate their dogs as well.

“Kiana was truly amazing. I had a sudden family emergency that required me to go out of state. She went so far above and beyond during that time, while having no obligation to do so. From the beginning of the cats stay with Kiana, she had been so incredibly flexible, she agreed to watch them with only two days notice, and due to the situation evolving and becoming unpredictable, she was more than happy to allow me to extend their stay. She was the direct cause of so much stress relief due to knowing the cats were safe, and well taken care of. 5/5 human. As for her actual care of the kitties she again went well above and beyond anything anyone might think is going the extra mile. The cats were given the space needed to become comfortable and very quickly, and happily adapted to the new routine. I received frequent pictures and videos, she was very communicative, and because of her vigilance we were able to create a plan of action for one of the kitties who started throwing up more frequently than normal. She even went out and bought higher quality food for the cats, and implemented a structured feeing strategy so we could better assess the puking, which I doubt was an easy task since they both free fed before they were boarded. She kept me up to date at all times and provided regular, detailed updates. 5/5 for animal care as well. She is the best sitter/boarder I have ever had any experience with, by exponents, it’s not even close. Her service was head, and shoulders above anyone I’ve personally used before and far better than anything I’ve heard about other boarders. Choosing Kiana to care for your pets should be an insanely easy decision for anyone who wants their animals taken care of at the highest level of care, and wants someone that is just a straight up good human as well.”
