“Sierra is a dog whisperer. I met with her prior to starting weekly drop in visits. I was concerned that my rescue chi who is very anxious wouldn’t be thrilled about a new person coming into our home, as she hasn’t been with the last few people I’ve interviewed. But I was wrong! She calmed within minutes and Sierra was even able to pick her up and take her to the backyard. My chug absolutely adores her and I have peace of mind while I’m at work or out of town. About: Had dogs my entire life. Lost my last one a few months ago. Have fenced in yard for them to run. And plenty of toys. I’m retired so I have nothing but time to watch your pet. I walk every day would love to have your dog along for the walk. I have a fenced in yard , and a.good sized back yard with squirrels that need to be chased. Your pet will be welcome in our home.

About: I have had pets around me my whole life and have always took part in taking care of them. I have taken care of two dogs in their owners home. I watched them quite a few times for about a year. About: I have been taking care of animals since I was really young! I had lots of different pets growing up, so I have experience with all types of animals. I have done pet sitting before, by myself and helping my sisters. I am currently on summer break before I go to college at the end of September, so I have lots of free time to take care of pets! I have lots of free time to check on the pets and stay in the house, whatever is needed! I love going on walks, so I have no problems taking your pets for walks or being outside with them!

About: I had the privilege of growing up on a farm with animals of all kinds (sheep, steers, chickens, cats, and dogs)! Over the years we've been pet owners of dogs, rabbits, and fish. I (and my whole family) are passionate and committed to the care of each animal we are entrusted with, whether it's our own or someone else's. We have also had the opportunity to care for many pets; doing farm chores for neighbors, feeding and walking neighborhood dogs, and house/farm sitting so that not only pet parents (or farmers) get the freedom to be away, but also gain the ease of mind that their beloved animals are getting their needs met through special care. In our home, my family and I will be sure to go above and beyond through playing, grooming, exercising, and loving. I am a stay at home mom doing the primary care of your pooch. My kids (ages 11-17) do an online school program so they are home as well. Your sweet pup will be well loved and well taken care of. We will give your dog reliable and consistent care; we'll take the time to get to know you, your pet, and the instructions for care. In order to do that, we would love to set up an introductory "meet 'n' greet." We currently are pet free but have an extra kennel, hardwood floors, and a totally enclosed back and side yard! Your dog will have unlimited access to both our home and our yard and will get to go on outings with us.

About: Helping and caring for animals has been my passion ever since I was little. However, my journey towards fulfilling this dream didn’t start until I graduated high school. It was then that I began volunteering at a pet rescue shelter and a wildlife rehabilitation center in Illinois. I especially enjoyed volunteering at the pet rescue shelter. Helping cats and dogs has always been my utmost passion. I was such a familiar face when I volunteered at the pet rescue shelter, that they hired me on the spot when I asked them if they were hiring. This was one of my favorite jobs I ever had. Being able to care for these precious animals was one of my most rewarding life experiences. This job gave me ambition and helped solidify my dream of going to school to be a veterinarian. When I worked at this pet rescue shelter, my goal was to ensure that each and every animal's time at the shelter was as happy and stress free as possible. That being said, the hardest part of the job was not having enough time in the day to spoil 40-50 animals. I wanted to do it all! But I did my best to give each and every animal the physical and emotional enrichment that they needed and deserved with the time I was given. This included long walks and playing fetch with the hyperactive dogs. The dogs that were well socialized were put in the backyard with other dogs to play. I also made sure to give cuddle time with the friendly cats and dogs that really loved people. Along with spoiling these animals, I acquired a lot of experience working with cats and dogs that were aggressive and/or anxious due to their previous living situations, prior to arriving at the shelter. Due to these circumstances, I made sure to assess each animal individually. This is something I carry with me to this day. I never assume an animal's boundaries, regardless of if they have a previous bite history or not. I am also very comfortable with reading an animal’s body language. This includes de-escalating situations when an animal is fearful or upset. Along with working at a rescue shelter, I have 4 years of experience working as a kennel technician at a veterinary clinic and a year of experience as a veterinary receptionist. While I am not a doctor yet and cannot diagnose anything, I am happy to give you general advice on your pet’s health. Your pet’s happiness and health is my number one priority! I hope that this short bio convinces you that your pet will be in great hands. I am very experienced working with animals as it has been my life passion. About: I have been caring for dogs since I can remember because I’ve always had dogs of my own. Currently I have 4 dogs that I help take care of daily. I have experience taking care of at minimum two dogs as far as the Seattle area for so far max of two weeks. I have also taken care of chickens at the same time so I am prepared in whatever may need to be done. I have no job and am available whenever as far north as Seattle if needed. I am available essentially 24/7 starting June 22nd, until august 16th. I have four dogs and therefore caring for a pet in my own home could prove difficult. However, I am comfortable staying in your house if needed or preferred. I always ask for specific instructions from the owner concerning whatever I need to be informed on because I am aware everyone treats their pet differently.
