About: Hi y'all! I am an all around animal lover. My girls and I take any dogs that we are watching on walks with us every night, we have lots of fun. Pets are allowed on the furniture, unless you state explicitly state you don't want them to be. I prefer not to kennel overnight, but there are always exceptions to the rule! I am able to help with puppies and older pups alike; age is not an issue. Please ask any questions you may have for me, thank you so much we can’t wait to meet you! I am currently working part time but I am always available for nightly drop ins or for any early morning stops on my way in. I am always respectful of your safety protocols, gates are always double and triple checked, doors are always checked to be shut correctly. Food and water levels are consistently monitored. Instructions are always followed to the letter.

About: Hi, I’m Abigail! I recently moved back to the Hudson Valley to develop my career in the environmental field. I’m currently working part-time at a native plant nursery. When I'm not spending time nature and with plants, I love caring for animals! Growing up with animals in my household ranging from cats to dogs (to even turtles and birds) has given me an affinity to not just adore all types of animals, but has given me the proper skills to understand the responsibility of caring for an animal. I understand that all animals are unique in what makes them feel comfortable and loved and will always do what is best to ensure the safety and comfortability of your pet! For dogs: - A meet and greet would be a great idea beforehand to get to know both you and your dog, so I can provide the best service possible! - I love being outdoors as much as I can, so I plan to take your dog for long walks as much as I can! - As for potty breaks, I think three times a day is the absolute minimum. Once in the morning, afternoon, and before bedtime. However, if I am not working, I can take them out as much as you/they desire! - Maintaining your pets feeding routine is very important to and I take special care to be considerate of any special dietary care you dog needs. - Lastly, I know it can be hard for some animals to be separated from their loved ones. I will make sure they are feeling loved while they are under my care. For cats: - I currently care for an orange tabby rescue, named Hugo, who can be a bit needy, (although him being special only makes me love him more!), so I understand that cats can require a lot of attention and love, and I will ensure to give them plenty while they are under my care. - Cleanliness is very important when caring for cats, as the owner and of a cat, I know my cat can get upset if his litter box is not kept in pristine condition, and when caring for your cat I will do the same! - Diet is just as important for animals as it is for humans. Feeding your pet according to their needs is something I will take seriously. I work part time, Wed - Sat, however I can be pretty flexible to accommodate your schedule. If I am unable to meet the needs requested I will be sure to give as much notice as possible. In a clients home, I like to keep things tidy and work within the boundaries discussed with the client. Cleanliness is important to me and I appreciate staying in homes that are kept in generally good condition. I try to mirror the animal's usual routine in a home and prioritize everyone’s comfortability.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and took the responsibility of taking care of and training our family dogs. They all turned out great with my first dog becoming a therapy dog helping children. Can’t imagine a world without a dog by your side! I currently work in a school system so during holidays, school breaks, and the summer I’m the most free but can always help once I get out of school as well. Great backyard with a pup to play with. Lots of shade and fencing. Many toys and such to play with as well. Great spot for dogs to relax.

About: I spent 3 months last fall volunteering at a dog shelter (5 days a week, 4 hours a day), I’ve worked many dog and cat sitting jobs, and I’ve had my rescue dog Artie for 14 years. I have experience with puppies, senior and rescue dogs. I’m currently home until September and looking for some extra work! I have a full time summer job but am available for house-sitting the last week of August, as well as able to do local dog walks or drop-in visits most mornings. I can follow instructions to care for your pets in your home how you want me to. I’m more than happy to take them for walks, play with them, feed them (including any medications) and give them lots of love!

About: I grew up with two dogs in my house that I was the main care taker of. We have also had Guinea pigs and rabbits. My work schedule rotates. So I would be available different days In the week. About: I have been around animals all my life. Born in the country, cows and horses are most common, but I’ve come to love having dogs, cats, and reptiles of my own! There has never been an animal I couldn’t warm up to, and I love getting to know every pets unique personality. I DO OWN PETS, I just am not offering boarding services or requesting sitting services so I would prefer not to share their details! I am always willing to move around my schedule to better fit my clients needs! I have a ride ai depend on for now while I’m learning to drive so I cannot be out too late unless I’m staying the night. I prefer to pet sit or walk pets at other homes, not my own, as I have a reactive dog with history of abuse, and she is not amicable with other pets.

About: I've had the privilege of caring for a variety of animals over the years. From mice, rabbits, dogs, cats, horses, chickens, ducks - I love to pamper them all! Being very detailed oriented and personally spoiling my own critters, I can support even the most high maintenance of fur babies! My fiancé (also on Rover!) ensure your furbaby is entertained around the clock! I work from home and handle the early bird shift, including your pup in the sunrise (bright snd early) farm chores. My fiancé provides the daytime activities including long walks and hikes on our farm, supervised yard time, play time. Evening activities include additional walks and games. Pups will have their last walk and tucked in for the night around 1030PM. I am extremely conscious of pet safety and following instructions provided by owners. When pets are at my home, they will not have any interaction with other animals- just me and my fiancé (who is also on Rover!). Dogs will always be on a leash, with the exception of being enclosed in a secure fenced in area. We have a 1 acre fenced in yard where dogs can have supervised zoomie time. Dogs will never be left unattended in the yard. Our fur guests spending the day or night will have their own room with a bed, crate (if preferred for their comfort or if they are beavers), ad lib water, etc.

I am mobile and willing to drive to drop off and pickup when needed. I Have flexibility throughout weekends or extended trips if necessary I treat a clients home as if it's my own. I move into your home for the duration of the stay and only leave for normal daily errands. Do you normally work from home and your pet is not used to being alone for long periods? No worries, I'm your girl! I do my best to keep your pet on their normal schedule. Their routine is disturbed enough with your absence, it's my job to pamper them while you're gone.
