Maggie is social, playful, and friendly, and she enjoys having other dogs around. I will respect your instructions and your dog’s normal routine as much as possible. Please share any important details about feeding, health, behavior, crate comfort, sleeping preferences, and how your dog does with children and other dogs. Meet-and-greets are welcome before booking, and I’m happy to send updates during your dog’s stay. My goal is to provide a safe, attentive, family-centered home where your dog is cared for with patience, respect, and genuine attention. Because I’m home most of the time, your dog will not be left alone for long periods. If we leave for errands, Maggie is comfortable in her crate, and we can offer the same option for your dog if they are crate-trained or feel secure that way. We also have a spare crate available, or you are welcome to bring your dog’s own bed, crate, blanket, or comfort items. About: I had a dog in my family for around 10 years. He was really the best. It was so fun to watch him grow up and take care of him through it all. I absolutely adore animals and love to give them attention, play with them and learn with them. I work full time but have different hours and sometimes will be available in the mornings, sometimes the middle of the day, and sometimes weekends! I will always have time for animals. I provide a safe and comforting environment for dogs and humans alike. I am very considerate and observant of everything around me so I will always make sure everyone is safe and having a great time with everything they need. She came for a meet and greet, learned all their names, and followed every instruction during the entire two week period. I needed twice a day drop ins for one hour each. She stayed for the entire hour, played with the cats, fed them, pet them, cleaned food bowls, replaced water bowls and cleaned their litter. My dog, Zeke and I had a companion kind of relationship, built on mutual respect and happiness; it's something I wouldn't have traded for the world. He sadly passed away in October 2025 after 12 years together, so it would be an understatement to say I'm more than happy to pour extra love to your pup. I have discovered that adventures are my ideal experiences and would like to advertise as such! Mountain hikes, kayak paddles (>15 pounds) are my favorites, but I am open to other ideas/training requests! Paddleboarding, swimming lessons...the possibilities are endless. One hour minimum is preferred; gas and travel time to the adventure site are included. I have many mountains, lakes and trails on my list, so I do not see it as fair to charge you for that time! You will only be charged for adventure time. Depending on your pup(s) comfortability in the car, we may travel up to 45 minutes. You and I will decide together on location details, and this app will track where your pup(s) and I are at all times. Wilderness First Aid trained, canine safety versed, ample water provided, and pups will always be kept safely on the leash. “Janice is loving, attentive and kind. She communicated well during Addie's visit; we were given frequent updates to help reassure us that Addie was adapting well to her new environment. Addie seemed relaxed and in tune with Janice from the start. We had an introductory visit before our first drop-off where we could see that Addie felt comfortable and confident with Janice and her family. We could see from the photos that Janice sent that Addie was enjoying her time and getting to know the other animals (cats, dogs, sheep) that are part of Janice's home and farm. We could not have hoped for a better outcome. It meant a lot to us that Addie enjoyed her stay because she has a tendency to experience some separation anxiety, but she didn’t seem to have any that day. Janice has a gentle way with animals and is genuinely interested in how they feel and what they need. Addie received excellent care and loving attention during her visit.”

About: I’ve grown up with Chinchillas, Cats, Dogs, Ducks, Chickens, & Reptiles. My Fiancé & I currently have 3 Cats (they love dogs- but if any issues - can be kept separate in their cat room to create a more comfortable stay for any pet that doesn’t like cats), between me & my partner- someone is always home to give attention to & play with pets. (Aside from when we go to the store or doctors appointments). Your pets will get the best care!!! Someone will always be home with your pets, either I am home or when I’m at work my fiancé Deanne is home & is also a huge animal lover. The only times someone isn’t home is when we’re grocery shopping or at an appointment. We have the rail trail right in our backyard that goes for miles- it’s a great trail to take dog walks on! We usually do that or use tie outs or the dogs leashes in our yard since we don’t have a fenced in yard, but your pets are never left unattended on the tie-outs, someone will be outside with them at all times

I know how important it is to make sure your pet is in a safe environment while still getting the structure and schedule they are used to. About: I have been around animals all my life. Born in the country, cows and horses are most common, but I’ve come to love having dogs, cats, and reptiles of my own! There has never been an animal I couldn’t warm up to, and I love getting to know every pets unique personality. Exercise takes time and I enjoy the physical aspect of a healthy lifestyle. Keeping a balance of short and or long walks. Depending on the breed I could make exercise minimal or lengthy. Currently I have a 15ft by 5ft outdoor kennel. Yard is well maintained with space and away from any roads. Private residence. I keep my small dog on a lead. Lead is also an option for other animals. My yard has plenty of space for playtime and fetching.

For overnight stays, I treat every home and pet with the respect and care I’d want for my own. I pride myself on being responsible, respectful, and kind—treating every home and animal as if my own. As a freelancer who works remotely, I have a flexible schedule that lets me give your pets the attention they deserve. I’m also available for house sitting and overnights provided there's stable wifi. I am a trustworthy house sitter/ walker who priotizes clear communication on expectations and house standards. “As I write this review I look down at my pup who is exhausted from her stay with Mary and Todd. They took Harper in last minute for an overnight/all day play date with their other dog pepper. Harper was treated as one of their own. Over the course of her stay we had daily updates and shared pictures of the trip to art Omi and for evening/morning walks.
