“Gabby did an incredible job taking care of my cats while I was away! Not only was she attentive and loving, but she was also able to give my cat their medicine with no issues, which was a huge relief. “Courtney was great and we will be definitely using her again when we go out of town. She sent great pictures and updates while we were gone so I knew my kitties were okay. About: I have always loved animals. So I immediately applied myself at an Animal Hospital after high school, assisting in dog/cat care(nail trims, baths, behavioral therapy) and surgery for 7 years. In addition, I worked as a bather for Pet Smart grooming. I was pet sitting before covid, but stopped when social distancing was put into place. Unfortunately, my best friend crossed the rainbow bridge, and I would like to cope by helping my community again with their pets. I will only be able Friday evenings, and weekends. Sometimes my schedule changes, so hopefully I can make adjustments if possible. I currently work full time in Detroit, packaging wound ointment called HoneyCure, for dogs, cats, and horses. Depending of the dynamic, I will utilize a loop leash for added safety when walking your dog or taking potty breaks. I live an apartment, so dogs the weigh 20Ibs or under are welcome. I am willing to drive though, for pups who weigh more than 20Ibs. I am attentive when it comes to pet care because safety is important, so I will ask a lot of questions when meeting your dog or cat, and ask for written instructions on how you would like me to take care of your pet’s needs. I’m experienced with medication administration, and I have knack for a pet’s body language if they are feeling unwell or have behavioral issues.

About: Although I would consider myself a cat person, I find taking care of animals something that allows me to do my part in making sure they live happy and fulfilled lives I’m currently working part time at Jo Ann fabrics and looking to earn a little extra income on the side, pet care is something I would make accommodations for considering my current schedule at work! “Shelby was amazing! This was our first time using rover and it was definitely a great first experience. Moving from a different state and not having any close family to take care of our cats for us while on vacation was stressful at first but after Shelby’s first visit I could tell our cats were gonna be in great hands. She even went out of her way to replace our liter scooper when ours broke half way thru our vacation! We can thank you enough again for such amazing care!! ?”

About: I have a family of small children and cats and dogs! I am also a Dog Bather at a local grooming saloon. Being patient and gentle has been a proven method to work with animals. I take animals without fenced in yards out for walks and to go to the bathroom. Fenced in yards I will be outside the entire time the dog is outside.
