About: I’ve loved and cared for all kinds of animals throughout my life. With dogs specifically, I have experience with puppies, adults, seniors, anxious pets, and multi-pet households. I’ve also administered medications and supported senior pets through end-of-life care. Before changing majors, I studied pre-veterinary medicine, and I have volunteered with several animal rescues. Those experiences strengthened my ability to recognize behavioral cues, respect an animal’s boundaries, and remain calm when a pet needs extra reassurance. Caring for so many different animals has taught me that every pet has their own personality, needs, and way of communicating. Whether your dog needs an energetic walk, quiet companionship, or a familiar routine while you’re away, I’ll care for them with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own pets. I’m self-employed and work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule for weekday, weekend, and holiday care. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and care in your home. I’ll work with you to understand your pet’s usual schedule and maintain as much consistency as possible while they are in my care. As a pet parent myself, I know how stressful it can be to choose the right person and leave your animals in someone else’s care. Before a booking, I prefer to learn about your pet’s routine, personality, triggers, medical needs, and what helps them feel comfortable. I carefully follow all instructions for feeding, medications, walks, and household routines. During walks, I double-check collars and harnesses, keep dogs securely leashed, and remain attentive to our surroundings. During drop-ins and overnight stays, I’m mindful of doors, gates, and other potential escape points. I’ll treat your home with respect and will never bring another person into it without your permission. You’ll receive as many updates, photos, and videos as you’d like, so you always know what your pet is doing and how they are feeling. If I notice any concerning changes in their health or behavior, I’ll contact you promptly.

As an online college student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the time, consistency, an supervision they deserve. At home, our family has five dogs, so I am very familiar with managing multiple pets at once and maintaining consistent schedules. In addition to daily care, I have experience with overnight dog sitting that includes week-long stays where I handled feeding, walks, playtime and managing pet's normal routines. I have cared for puppies, senior dogs, and cats and I understand how to adjust care depending on energy level and age. I have also taken care of chickens while house sitting, so I am comfortable with a variety of animals beyond just dogs and cats. I am able to drive, which allies me to be available for drop ins, walks, and emergencies if needed. Overall, I am dedicated to making families feel safe with leaving their pets at home and making the pets feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I currently work part time and am an online college student. I work Wednesday and Friday nights from 4pm-9pm. For my college classes I do not have to be on any type of zoom, so I do my course work at my own pace. I provide care in my clients home so pets can stay in a familiar, low-stress environment and maintain their normal routine. I follow all care instructions including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any specific preferences the owner provides. Safety is my top priority. I make sure doors, gates, and crates are secure and keep pets aware from anything that may be unsafe. I work to build trust with both owners and pets by being consistent, patient, and respectful of each pet's personality. I also have reliable transportation, so if an emergency does arise I can provide additional needs.

About: My name is Taylor and I am a veterinary technician servicing the DMV area. I have been working with dogs specifically since I was 15 and cats since I was 18. I personally have a cat and have had dogs in the past, and I understand the stress put on the importance of finding someone that you can trust to watch your animals while you are away. Safety is my upmost concern and as a veterinary technician and a groomer, I am very experienced in dog and cat care and would love to babysit your little angel! I can't wait to meet you and thanks for visiting my profile! I currently work from home so I have more than enough time to devote to your pet and their individual needs. My hours are not necessarily tied to a desk or computer either, so I am able to do walks freely throughout the day. Depending on the customers request, I am able to accommodate most housing accomodations. There is a room specifically designated in the house for the pet for the duration of the stay, which has toys, beds, food and water as well as a TV. it’s also a daybed for me as well so that I am able to stay in the room with your pet. My backyard is large and it’s open, however I will be keeping pers on-leash anytime they are outside.
