About: I have two dogs, an almost senior pug and a German shepherd puppy as well as a couple cats, I care and love for all I babysit part time so I’d love to fill the rest of my time babysitting pets, walking , caring and providing whatever they need while away from there owners. About: I can't remember a time I didn't have a pet, since childhood. My childhood dog's name was Wallstreet and our cat was Clara. My dog Leia is my first dog as an independent adult. I've had her for 10 years. I started a cleaning business since 2019 and my clientele grew from word of mouth from people I would house sit and pet sit for since 2016. During that time I also cared for a woman with dementia for two years, checking on her twice a day, cleaning, going on outings, and giving meds. I still have my cleaning business and am looking for a new side hustle to supplement my income. I love animals and people and have a lot of free time, so this just made sense! I hope I can help spoil and love on your pets while you can't. I have a completely open and flexible schedule. The only things I do on a regular basis are some zoom calls at 7 pm early in the week and a couple outings/errands a week for an hour or two. In my home, dogs would be walked around the beautiful hills and scenery in my neighborhood. I don't have a fenced in yard. Cats and dogs would have full reign of the apartment. Animals are allowed on furniture. Actually, I am lucky they share the couch with me.

About: I’ve taken care of family members pets mostly dogs but i do take care of the neighborhood stray cats whom i feed everyday when out i’m an currently working part time and usually have weekends off, sometimes my schedule is all over the place but i can communicate that always. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
