“We did a quick meet-and-greet the day before I left Pepper with Melissa & Cody and I immediately felt very comfortable with them and their residence, especially that large fenced-in yard. I can always tell when Pepper has a good time somewhere by how tired she is when I pick her up!. Suffice to say, she must have had a very good time with Melissa & Cody. I highly recommend them for your pooch(es). Will definitely go back to them.”

About: My name is Eleanor. In the last year we recently lost our own senior dogs who were 17, 16 and 15. We recently fostered and subsequently adopted a corgi puppy who just recovered from heart surgery. I am also the mom of five children who are 12, 10, 8 and 3 year old twins. I have provided pet care services for many years but am starting back up after the addition of our twins :) My husband works from home which allows me to come help you with your furry friend! I am on the board of a senior dog rescue called Senior Dog Haven and Hospice and ran it for 10+ years until I recently passed on the reins. We rescue dogs aged 7 and up that have found themselves homeless later in life. I love animals, especially elderly ones, and have dedicated my life to their care. I have fostered almost 100 senior dogs in the last 10 years and have a ton of experience with special needs dogs. I would love to come love on your dog and spoil them anytime you need me! We require your furry friend to be kid friendly as they will get lots of love from our pack of children! I am a stay at home mom with a husband that works from home. Our schedule is extremely flexible and someone is almost always home. I have a one acre fenced in yard that has a small dog and large dog fenced in area. I love animals and will always take the very best care of them!

About: I've loved walking and caring for dogs since I was a kid, often borrowing neighbor's dogs to take them on walks while I was growing up. After college, I worked as a dog-walker for some time while building my career as a professional violinist. Some of my best memories from those years are being out all day with a couple of happy dogs! These days, my violin career allows me to mostly work from home, which means I have time during the day and some evenings to spend with pups. I'm a lover of long walks, hikes, and runs, and all of those are even better with a dog or two for company, especially with Ridley Creek State Park right around the corner. I’m self-employed with a very flexible schedule and my husband works from home. We’re both huge animal lovers and have a combined 40+ year history in pet care. We have three dogs of our own and a cat and orient our schedules around making sure they have active, happy, and full lives! I have a large, fenced-in yard plus multiple dog gates in our house to ensure everyone’s safety. We never leave dogs unsupervised in our yard and make sure everyone is in a secure environment both with and without us at home.

About: We have a ton of experience watching dogs, from puppies to senior dogs. We trained our own puppy so we understand the extra care, attention and exercise that is required for dogs at different stages of life. My husband and I work from home daily and take breaks regularly throughout the day to take our dog on walks, play with him and care for him. We happily do the same with other dogs we watch. These breaks are the best parts of our day. We have a yard but it is not fenced in, so we take our dog and dogs we watch on walks in our cul de sac and around the neighborhood, which is very walkable. We allow dogs on couches and beds. If they want to sleep with us, we welcome it!

“Ann is truly a tremendous sitter. My pup, Bowie, was so tired after spending the evening there. A happy dog is a tired one!! She sent pictures and text updates which I absolutely loved. She also wrote a narrative of his day for me to keep! I highly recommend Ann and I am surely returning to her.”

“This was Creamy’s second visit to Kate’s and I could see that she liked Kate by the way she greeted her. She has never had a pet sitter before but is warming up very nicely with Kate!!”

About: I grew up having pets since I was born, including dogs, turtles, hamsters, guinea pigs and others. My daughters and I have taken care of our neighbors and friends dogs, and we have experience interacting with cats from my brothers and friends. We have only guinea pigs now, but my daughters are longing for any dog-sitting especially, so we have plenty of space, love and affection to spare, if needed. I am a teacher with my summers off. My daughters are in camps periodically, but we are largely staying local throughout the rest of the summer, and I have a number of house projects that will keep me based at home for most days. I have a pet-friendly townhouse community that I live in. Safe, slow-moving cars, dog-walking areas with doggie bag stations, coupled with open grassy areas, and conveniently located near several close-by parks and even a dog park 10 minutes way. Other dogs are leashed in the community. If needed, your dog can be kept in our finished basement, with plenty of space to move around. In your home, if you prefer to have the dog walked nearby and/or caged at night, that will not be a problem.

“I've known El for about 5 years. She helps run a senior and hospice dog rescue that I foster for. She's organized and thoughtful, smart and savvy. She has extensive experience with a wide variety of types of dogs and can handle almost any situation. She's helped me out in many different dog situations and is incredibly reliable. I would absolutely trust El with my own dogs.”

Sangeetha S.
“To say that Sangeetha is an animal lover would be an understatement. She has had cats, dogs, and guinea pigs of her own and regularly fosters both dogs and cats. She and her husband go out of their way to care for animals, even making personal sacrifices, such as taking separate vacations when needed. I have left my dogs with her many times and have always returned to find that she has cared for them just as well—if not better—than we do. You can definitely trust Sangeetha with your four-legged loved ones.”

Renee M.
“Renee was a godsend when I needed a dog sitter while going on vacation. She took care of my little schnoodle, Comet, as if he was her own. Through the years she’s also walked him regularly when I was unable to. I highly recommend her services.”

Stephen A.
“I left Stephen responsible for my two cats while I was away on vacation. He was amazing !! He took the cutest photos of them and made sure to give me all the updates I needed (he knew I was missing them sooo much)! Overall such great care !”
