About: I've lived with pets all my life and while I’ve only had one human roommate in the last 30 years, I've always had a least one cat up until 2018. I LOVE cats (esp kittens), and am quite comfortable around dogs as well (I love them too, just not in all capitals, LOL). When I first started pet sitting, I thought I preferred cats to dogs, but the past few years have enabled me to expand in my love of, and comfort with dogs (but please don't tell the cats that)! I also used to 'lease' a horse in my youth and have experience with birds, hamsters, fish, and guinea pigs. I DON'T like snakes or insects (sorry!) In the last 12 years I’ve volunteered with several rescues as a cat/kitten foster and I'm known to be particularly good with feral kittens and cats. I'm really good with walking (dogs mostly), dispensing medications, and loving attention, but I'm not a pushover when it comes to treats from the table (that's a no-no) staying on leash when required, and letting them know I mean business when necessary. I don't believe in EVER striking or punishing animals and seem to fall in love with them all. I’ve been a house and pet sitter on the site “Trusted Housesitters” since 2018 and have over 21 positive reviews there. I’m recently retired (yet surprisingly busy). I don’t do a lot of night driving, but am otherwise generally available. I’m a stickler about being on time, and keeping dates I commit to. My preference is for cats to remain indoors at all time at my house, and dogs always on a lead when outside. I have a variety of crate sizes here, and am totally comfortable with your fur kids riding in my car, lounging on my furniture, and/or sleeping in my bed. I have all wood floors, plenty of cat litter pans and bowls for food and water. My yard is not fenced but I live directly in front of the Western Maryland Rail Trail, and have easy access to neighborhood parks as well.

About: Hello everyone! My name is Ashley, and I love dogs of all sizes and other animals as well. I grew up on a farm, and we always had dogs. My black lab, Teke, was my best friend and provided me with hours of fun and years of memories. I currently reside in Ligonier, PA and have two dogs of my own: Molly (Bichon Frise/Shih tzu mix) and Bo (Pit/ Lab mix); a sweet kitty, Marshmallow; and, a Netherland dwarf rabbit, Darth.I have experience caring for puppies, as well as senior dogs. I am comfortable giving medications, and following any special diets your fur baby may have. I will treat your fur children as if they were my own. If you are interested please reach out and let’s connect today! **Please note that the rate as established is per animal per night, drop-in, or walk. There has been some confusion and Rover doesn't clarify that.** I am a full-time Neurorehabilitation Specialist specializing in TBI care, so I am able to tailor my schedule to fit pet care into my daily routine. I always make sure their needs are met. I can provide whatever services your furbaby may need. My babies are well cared for, and they are always my top priority. I am here to help!

“Nicole has done taking my 10 month old Labrador Retriever on long walks when I've had to spend a longer day at the office. She responds quickly to walk scheduling requests. She also completes a "walk card" and sends pictures letting me know that my pup is getting the exercise she needs and love she thrives on. I would definitely recommend Nicole to others!”

About: I’ve taken care of family dogs growing up and have always been the one that dogs seem to gravitate towards in social settings. I love dogs & they truly seem to love me. I do work full-time Monday-Friday, but am available before/after my shift, weekend availability also. I have 30 minutes for work lunch so available then for walks/potty time/feeding. Your dog’s normal schedule is what I’d like to abide by - whatever it is that makes your pet most comfortable. Doggie cuddles are welcome! I enjoy taking walks or exploring nature if permitted.

About: Ive taken care of dogs every size. teaching new tricks, going on walks, and ice cream is something I enjoy doing with a fur baby I currently work full time night shift. I work 12 hrs shifts so my other 4 days during the week are open to helping other animal lovers with their babies. Because without the help I receive on my work days I would b very stressed. I have an unfunded yard but I love going on walks. Me and my dog ( henny) are always going hiking, fishing, to the dog park, or just out for a car ride. Henny loves all dogs and has lots of energy to play.

About: I have been around animals my whole life, from farm animals to house animals. I treat them with love and respect. They will be apart of my family for the days that they are in my care. It will work perfect because of my home life with having children and being off work. I am home most all day and will be able to care for them as needed. I will follow the routine that the animals have, if they are on a certain diet or potty schedule. They will be able to go out to the bathroom on a leash or a tie out and have exercise as well.

About: I’ve always had dogs in my home growing up and in the past year purchased a female Rottweiler. I’m her primary caretaker and have spent the last 12 months training her and expanding my knowledge of dogs. My work schedule is also very flexible and so is our ability to start the day sooner or later depending on your pups routine. My home is your fur baby’s home. About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was around 13, family and friends have always relied on me to watch over, feed, play with and bathe their pets! I typically travel for my full-time job on Mondays and Tuesdays, although I typically have mornings and evenings available. I am almost always in the area for the remainder of the week. When dog sitting for friends I always try to spend as much time with their pups as possible so that they are not lonely. I enjoy playing with and walking dogs the most!
