I’ve worked with pets of all ages and needs, including those who require medication or special diets. 🐾 I work from home, which means I can spend the majority of the day keeping your pets company, making sure they feel safe, loved, and entertained. 🏡 I’ve grown up with dogs of all shapes and sizes from tiny Teacup Pomeranians to gentle Irish Wolfhounds and I adore cats just as much. My priority is to give you peace of mind while you’re away by keeping your pets happy and your home well cared for. I also love sending regular updates and photos so you can see your furry family is safe, happy, and in loving hands. ❤️ *I am willing to travel for pet-house sitting longer distances* I work remotely, which means I have the flexibility to be with your pets throughout the day. Whether it’s taking them for walks, playing in the yard, or just keeping them company while they nap, I’m able to give them plenty of attention and care. Your pets won’t be left alone for long stretches, they’ll have a buddy by their side. 🐾 I am offering pet care, & house sitting in a clients home, walking, feedings, and maintaining your home. About: I have had dogs & cats in my life since childhood. A parakeet too! I know how close we become to our pets & how important good care is. I have 2 dogs of my own & have devoted myself to giving them the best life possible. I am newly retired so have lots of time to take care of your beloved pets. I love walking & playing with dogs in all kinds of weather. I will take great care of your pets at your home or while you visit Boothbay Harbor for a few hours or for a day! I will follow your instructions, making sure they are happy & safe. We will always have fun! I am retired and, thus, have quite a bit of time to walk & spend time with your beloved pets!! It’s more than a “job” for me. It’s a labor of love as well. I have a fenced in yard that our dogs use and would prefer walking and caring for your dogs at your home where they are more familiar with the surroundings.

About: Professional Groomer, trainer, accepting pets in home for extended stay. Farm, fence, full play room, individualized care, puppies and aged dogs welcome! It’s a dog’s life! Grooming from in- home makes me a home based body. Full availability, 7 days a week - holidays included! Active home with quiet spaces and experienced care. Full care and integration into our daily routine if it works for your pet - we’re up early, and on the go - lots of socialization (or not, if that’s your pups jam!) play, enrichment time and experiences. As I work from home, as a groomer and on my hobby farm, my availability for in-home boarding is quite high! I generally am not gone from the house longer then 4 hours, unless otherwise noted at bookings. Sunday’s: due to how quickly I’ve become super busy (you guys are great, I appreciate all my clients and their pups!! So much!) I can only be available for drop off and pickup between 7-8 AM, and 6-8 PM. Sunday is Adventure and errand day - I will be in and out but we always do a super fun group activity (weather permitting!) on Sunday’s I utilize a lot of tools to keep everyone happy, healthy, and safe - kennels, gates, double leashes, double fencing, cameras (indoor and out!) and a very specific routine that I have found works for this little home. Please be aware - dogs need to be kennel trained to board here. I DO use them at feed time, and for nap times as needed, to keep all the dogs in my care safe. I ask that you send your dogs meals pre-packed, or in a reasonable (for their stay) container. Please leave “favorites “ that cannot be replaced at home. This includes beds! I provide fresh, daily, clean toys and blankets, plus raised cot beds. Feed time is 2X per day, with 2X per day “stimulation” snacks prior to nap time. I provide all snacks, but need to know if your pup has a special diet. If your dog has separation anxiety, I really need to know. It doesn’t mean I won’t take your dog, but it DOES mean I have to structure things differently for that particular stay, and rates will be discussed. My own dog has SA, so I understand; I just need the information to plan accordingly.

About: I grew up with a yellow lab named Mo. I was an only child and he was quite truly my best friend. He passed away when I was sixteen. This past summer, my family and I got a new puppy from Midcoast Humane, his name is Sol. I don't know how I went eight years without such a buddy! Caring for a dog has been such an important part of my life, and has offered me so much fulfillment and joy. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets, and understand how important they are to your life and how important their happiness is! I currently have a flexible remote job. Although I do need to commit at least six hours Monday through Friday to my job, I have much space in between to care for, walk, play with, and adventure with your furry friend!! My weekends are completely available. Most preferabley, I would like to care for your dog in your own home. The house I live in currently does not have a fenced in area, however I would be open to talking through ways to make it work! I love to go on long walks, and would be happy to meet any of your dogs exercise needs or simply needs for muddy adventures.

About: Ever since the family cat had kittens when I was four years old, I have been drawn to the care of animals. Honoring the lives of pets as our friends has been a source of inspiration and therapy for myself personally. As a working artist, taking the time to care for animals has been such a privilege and the perfect change of pace while I continue to work on creative projects. I have a German Shepherd that I keep separated from the work I do with other animals. I am located at a small farmhouse in Augusta that has a huge yard with two a-joining fields. There is more than enough room to explore the surround with your pet. I am also an avid walker so exercise is big for me generally.

About: I am available and have a very flexible schedule. I have raised my own dog for many years and love to tend to others as well. Responsibility, reliability and trustworthiness are guaranteed along with ensured fun and care. I care for my own dog with daily walks, and basic care such as feeding and playful fun. I have been doing this for most of my life because of my pets and would love to do it for others. For my pet, I put him in a harness and on a leash when going on walks and going potty. In a different house that’s more secluded with more landscape, I allow him to roam freely with cautious eyes. For my clients, it depends on what they prefer whether it’s keeping them on a harness or allowing them to roam freely as well.

About: Hi there, my name is Olivia. I started dog walking at my university in California to get my “pet-fix,” only to realize how much I love caring for other people’s pets! I seriously love all animals, from geckos to cats to dogs, and I would be happy to care for your friendly family members. I have been a pet caretaker for 20+ years (personally) and 4 years (professionally). I am a certified foster parent for Best Friends of Los Angeles, a certified foster parent for Midcoast Humane Society, and I have also spent two summers as a volunteer dog Walker for the Animal Humane Society. I most recently fostered a pregnant mama cat who gave birth to SEVEN kittens. I am happy to encourage any training techniques that you have been practicing as well reinforce (the much more necessary) attention and cuddles. I am also happy to arrange bathes, training strategies, or different medications per your necessity. My schedule is very flexible right now, as my last job recently ended, and I’m taking some time before starting my next chapter. In the meantime, I’ve been focusing on pet sitting, which has been a really fulfilling way to stay busy and do something I enjoy. I’m an active person who likes getting outside for walks and runs, and I love having animals be part of that daily routine. It’s been a great fit for both me and the pets I care for. I’m respectful, tidy, and organized, and I always aim to leave your home just as you left it—if not better. I’ve done both overnight stays and drop-in visits in the past, and I’m happy to be flexible depending on what works best for you and your pet.

About: I have a strong affinity for animals, which partly stems from my growing up with a family of dog trainers. Moreover, my house was never lacking in the pet-department! And as a result, I learned how to care for dogs at a young age. Around 12 is when I began pet sitting/dog walking for family and friends; which I still do today! Right now I’m balancing summer classes and a part-time serving job, so my schedule is a bit atypical! I’m free Sunday’s, Monday’s, Wednesday’s after 5:45pm, and Thursday’s before 2pm. Otherwise, my schedule varies from week to week. I’m trained on basic first aid for dogs. If needed, I can provide leashes (long or short) and crates for kenneling or transportation upon request.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a child. I am sensitive to animals' needs and unique personalities. I'm just as happy playing and romping as hanging out while they sniff and explore on their own. I am currently in between jobs, so I have a very flexible schedule. I'm easy to reach and have good communication skills. I am available most days during the day. I'm looking forward to coming to you to care for your pet, whether it's for a walk or just a bathroom break and some playtime inside. If you have a fenced in yard, I'm happy to play with your dog off leash too.

About: I have owned 2 dogs over the past 10 years, and have dog sat for friends and family. I have experience with multiple sizes and breeds and temperament. I'm currently working from home so your pup will have constant supervision and plenty of play time. I am available most weekends with advanced knowledge I currently have 1 jack Russell mix who enjoys napping and using other dogs as pillows. I have a small fenced in area but also go on frequent walks.

Lucy A.
“Lucy has cared for our dogs (cats and other farm animals) for more than 10 years. We entirely trust her. Our last dog, Harvey, a lab/hound mix, was sometimes aggressive with other dogs. Lucy worked well with him in a controlled and save manner. Our current dog, Denali, a hound mix, could not be friendlier and more laid-back - although he sometimes likes to chase squirrels. While on walks, Lucy uses dog treats to reinforce his behavior and keep him close at hand. You will find Lucy to be straightforward and easy to talk with. As a former kindergarten teacher, Lucy is dependable, caring and fun. We highly recommend her and appreciate all that she has done for us - and our dogs.”

Tyler G.
“Tyler is very caring and committed to the care of animals. He has two dogs which he has raised on his own. He has shown himself to be very attentive to there needs, taking them for frequent walks, providing the most nutritious food available (often making extra whole food/meat selections and prepping on his own to supplement needs). He has a kind heart, and is a very nurturing individual. He is dependable, and I would highly recommend him. He has been a blessing to me and my dog Khloe 🐶”
