About: I'm a work at home pet mom with a large yard, lots of toys, and a calm and welcoming house. I've always had large dogs from mixed breeds to Great Danes, but love and appreciate all types of well mannered dogs. My house sits well off the road, so its quiet and I hike or trail walk almost daily. I am adept at giving medicine, cleaning wounds and dealing with incontinent dogs, but I will only board dogs who are respectful of my cats. I am currently working from home on my own schedule. Boarded dogs who enjoy car rides can come with me on errands or outings. While each day may different, my activities will be built around the needs of the animals I am caretaking, especially if separation anxiety is an issue. I will care for your animals as per your instructions and the capabilities of your pet. I do not have a fenced in yard, but have installed a run line in the past. If a dog is used to being crated, receiving treats, or sleeping on the couch - no problem. Conversely, I don't give animals people food, and if you want your pets to stay off furniture I will strictly honor that as well. My house is small but open, so it is easy to keep an eye on them.

About: I have a passion for dogs. I have cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and health needs including medication, special diets, and have experience caring for injuries and elderly dogs. My partner and I both work full time with rotating schedules. Most days someone is home. On the few days where we are both working, the dogs are free to go in and out of the dog room to the fenced in area outside. I have a 2 year old lab/golden retriever who loves all other dogs, loves to play, and really enjoys having other dogs around. We have a dog room downstairs with an open door to a covered patio and fenced in grass area for the dogs to play, cool off, and use the bathroom at their own needs.

About: I’ve owned and cared for pets since I was a child. I cannot imagine not having pets, as I’ve never been without one. I currently have 4 dogs and 2 cats. Over the years I have adopted many rescue animals from unfortunate circumstances. I have helped many that I’ve adopted through anxiety, behavior and trust issues. I have a very soft, gentle demeanor, and find being around pets so therapeutic. I’m currently trying to transition from my current position to something I could enjoy as much as caring for animals. If I can find myself busy enough, I would have the flexibility to become available as often as needed. I have a 4 acre property and pets of my own. My property is not fenced currently, however I have a great rural road/area to walk and explore safely while leashed. I can of course kennel if needed, I have a large indoor space as well.

“I reached out to Lindsay about 2 months ago hoping to try my two dogs in her care and requested they had time outside, exposure to children and animals, and that they were kept safe. Lindsay has always gone above and beyond, my dogs are excited to get in the car and go to daycare and I’m always provided photos at the end of the day. My puppy has gotten to make other puppy friends and is able to play with her children. Lindsay is always on top of medications and is very flexible to my complex work schedule. She is by far more than I could’ve ever asked for.”
About: I grew up with a yellow lab named Mo. I was an only child and he was quite truly my best friend. He passed away when I was sixteen. This past summer, my family and I got a new puppy from Midcoast Humane, his name is Sol. I don't know how I went eight years without such a buddy! About: We have always had pets in our home. Besides our own, we regularly watch our neighbors animals as well (dogs and cats). We recently had to say goodbye to our special needs dogs. So we have lots of experience and patience. Both my wife and I work from home so are very flexible with our schedule. I currently have two labradors (one is an *angel* and can calm even the most Nervous Nellies, and the other just wants you to throw the dang ball!). I have a large fenced-in area, wooded trails for curious noses and a food dehydrator for the occasional, chewy treat (with permission). For sure you can expect that your pup will be treated as one of our own with play, snuggles and comfy places to rest. Multiple fetch sessions and walks in the woods throughout the day are the norm. During longer stays, I am am happy to take your dog on a hike in one of the nearby preserves. This is my full-time commitment and passion. My background includes Grooming, Training, Seminar’s in dog behavior, pet CPR and first aid, and running a large boarding and grooming facility. I am Licensed by the State of Maine for boarding 🐾 I utilize a lot of tools to keep everyone happy, healthy, and safe - kennels, gates, double leashes, double fencing, cameras (indoor and out!) and a very specific routine that I have found works for this little home. Please be aware - dogs need to be kennel trained to board here. I DO use them at feed time, and for nap times as needed, to keep all the dogs in my care safe. I ask that you send your dogs meals pre-packed, or in a reasonable (for their stay) container. Please leave “favorites “ that cannot be replaced at home. This includes beds! I provide fresh, daily, clean toys and blankets, plus raised cot beds. Feed time is 2X per day, with 2X per day “stimulation” snacks prior to nap time. I provide all snacks, but need to know if your pup has a special diet. If your dog has separation anxiety, I really need to know. It doesn’t mean I won’t take your dog, but it DOES mean I have to structure things differently for that particular stay, and rates will be discussed. My own dog has SA, so I understand; I just need the information to plan accordingly.
About: Hello! I have been working with animals all my life from a very young age and I have been pet sitting for a little over 4 years. There were always pets in the home, mostly dogs and cats all my life growing up and I have thorough experience being around animals and knowing how to take care of them. I took a major part in taking care of the puppies that my family bred most of my childhood. I have experience in working with a variety of animals such as dogs, cats, reptiles, roosters/chickens, horses, guinea pigs, etc. Besides working with my own pets I have been pet sitting for around 4 years now and have become very comfortable working with other peoples pets. About: I’ve owned and cared for pets since I was a child. I cannot imagine not having pets, as I’ve never been without one. I currently have 4 dogs and 2 cats. Over the years I have adopted many rescue animals from unfortunate circumstances. I have helped many that I’ve adopted through anxiety, behavior and trust issues. I have a very soft, gentle demeanor, and find being around pets so therapeutic. I’m currently trying to transition from my current position to something I could enjoy as much as caring for animals. My property is not fenced currently, however I have a great rural road/area to walk and explore safely while leashed. I can of course kennel if needed, I have a large indoor space as well.
About: I've been caring for animals since I was young, pet-sitting for our neighbors. I have experience with all sorts of breeds of dogs of all ages and cats. I have experience with feeding, walking, training, and bathing dogs. I am currently working full-time throughout the weekdays. About: I have owned 2 dogs over the past 10 years, and have dog sat for friends and family. I have experience with multiple sizes and breeds and temperament. I'm currently working from home so your pup will have constant supervision and plenty of play time. About: I'm a work at home pet mom with a large yard, lots of toys, and a calm and welcoming house. I've always had large dogs from mixed breeds to Great Danes, but love and appreciate all types of well mannered dogs. My house sits well off the road, so its quiet and I hike or trail walk almost daily. I am adept at giving medicine, cleaning wounds and dealing with incontinent dogs, but I will only board dogs who are respectful of my cats. I am currently working from home on my own schedule. Boarded dogs who enjoy car rides can come with me on errands or outings. While each day may different, my activities will be built around the needs of the animals I am caretaking, especially if separation anxiety is an issue. I will care for your animals as per your instructions and the capabilities of your pet. I do not have a fenced in yard, but have installed a run line in the past. If a dog is used to being crated, receiving treats, or sleeping on the couch - no problem. Conversely, I don't give animals people food, and if you want your pets to stay off furniture I will strictly honor that as well. My house is small but open, so it is easy to keep an eye on them.

About: I have a passion for dogs. I have cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and health needs including medication, special diets, and have experience caring for injuries and elderly dogs. My partner and I both work full time with rotating schedules. Most days someone is home. On the few days where we are both working, the dogs are free to go in and out of the dog room to the fenced in area outside. I have a 2 year old lab/golden retriever who loves all other dogs, loves to play, and really enjoys having other dogs around. We have a dog room downstairs with an open door to a covered patio and fenced in grass area for the dogs to play, cool off, and use the bathroom at their own needs.

No other guests/ friends/ family will ever join me during a dog sitting. Constant Care: Constant care is applied to any sitting that doesn’t allow me to leave for more than 4 hours of the day, per day. Constant care rates start at $200/ night (additional rates still apply) and increase based off of pet’s needs.
