Both cats need medication and one is skittish enough that sometimes that can be challenging with new people/cat sitters, but she seemed to do great with Kristin! Photos and notes from each visit helped a lot too, knowing that the cats were doing well helped mitigate some of the stress.”

We had to keep our dog inside; Lindsay S. was prompt in arriving at his "dinnertime" to let him out, feed him & keep him company for the drop-in visit. She took great care with him & then sent photos on her own accord. That put our minds at ease until we could get home a few hours later. I prefer it this way because my pet needs are pretty easy and straightforward and the traditional "meet & greet" that I've done with sitters in the past has seemed like overkill when it's just for a cat (it was different when I had a dog because they're a little more unpredictable with unfamiliar faces). She did everything as we agreed upon and kept me updated during my absense with just the right amount of information (one or two photos, which is plenty). Allison also had a part-time job driving kids home from school all last year, so she understands how to safely drive kids around, which some parents my have reservations about if there is no previous proven experience.”

About: With over seven years of petsitting experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge to animal care. This summer, I’m honing my skills at a dog daycare and boarding facility, managing dogs of all temperaments. At home, I care for a dog, two cats, and a goat, giving me a unique perspective on different animals' needs. I'm a college student currently on summer break, so I have a completely open schedule to care for your furry friends! Since I have pets at home, I try to avoid overnight stays when possible. That being said, if it is an emergency I would be happy to work something out with you! I do not offer in home petsitting. However, to ensure your pets safety I will take all measures necessary including ensuring all doors are properly closed and locked, following all directions left for me to a T, etc.

About: I’ve been sitting for cats for family members for over 5 years whenever there’s been a vacation, and I’ve lived with and taken care of dogs for the same time. I also volunteer for BARCS and take care of animals there. I’m a substitute teacher so I only work during the school day and and therefore always up early in the morning and done working before the traditional business day. I cannot pet sit at my own home, but I’ve walked dogs and cared for cats in their homes. I’m very relaxed and care for the pets carefully by the instructions of the owners and report what went on with the pets and if there were any unusual incidents. I also have experience with pets who have are recovering from injuries so it’s important to me to be communicative with the owners.

About: I currently have 3 dogs at my home and often pet sit for friends and family. I have been helping take care of my dogs for at least 7 years. I currently do not work so I have plenty of time to help take care of your pups, whether it’s walking, potty breaks, or staying in your home! While in clients homes, I maintain the pet’s regular routine such as feedings, walks, playtime, and any medication. I also make sure the home remains clean and taken care of, bringing in mail and watering plants if requested.
