We had a meet and great a couple weeks beforehand so she met their dog and sniffed around the backyard. I got periodic updates and photos, which was reassuring. I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate morning, midday, and evening visits. I’m also available for last-minute requests when needed, including weekends and holidays. Safety is my top priority. I always follow pet parent instructions closely and keep routines consistent. For walks, I use a waist leash/leash belt so your pup is securely attached to me the entire time—this helps keep both your pet and me safe. I’m careful around doors and gates, double-check locks before leaving, and I send updates with notes and photos so you feel at ease while you’re away.
About: I have always loved dogs and have helped friends and family with dog-sitting whenever needed. I have been a pet parent for over 5 years and am very empathetic to their needs and wants. I currently work 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday. But I can do walks anytime outside of those hours. As long as you're ok that I wouldn't be there 100% of the time, I'm open to sitting on weekdays as well as weekends. I currently don't have any pets of me own at the moment, but I love to play and cuddle and make sure their needs are covered as well. “Lydia was fantastic! She welcomed her home to us with her lovely family including her chickens during our meet and greet. We proceeded to boarding 2 nights with her. Her home provided a warm, cozy and energetic vibe for our Poodle who is out going and craves human interaction. Lydia was not familiar with poodle grooming initially but after a quick demonstration and positive feedback she mastered it in no time. I appreciated her attention to detail, ability to communicate throughout the day and her willingness to learn how to care for specific dog breeds. It was a mutual rewarding experience and she even supervised her children doing obedience training with our pup.”
