About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. Growing up with both dogs and horses helped build a strong understanding of animal behavior, responsibility, and daily care. Today, I have two dogs of my own and spend a lot of time outdoors with them, especially hiking and staying active. Pet sitting for friends has also provided opportunities to care for dogs with different personalities and needs. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, and I enjoy making sure they get the exercise, attention, and care they need to stay happy and healthy. As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule and am available for drop-in visits every day except Saturday. I can accommodate mornings, afternoons, or times that best fit your pet’s routine. Whether your fur baby needs a quick check-in, feeding, or some playtime, I’m happy to work around your schedule to make sure they feel happy and cared for while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and well-being are my top priorities. As an Air Force veteran, I bring discipline, reliability, and attention to detail to every visit. I follow your instructions carefully, ensure pets are secure, and make sure their environment is safe and comfortable. During drop-in visits, I can take care of feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, and even watering plants or collecting mail. I also provide updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and cared for while you’re away. Even though visits take place in your home, I treat each environment with respect and make sure your pets feel relaxed and comfortable in their own space.

Mandy is a caring and knowledgeable. She came over twice to get to know Po and Chica first. It was important to me because Po is a grouchy old soul and is suspicious of new people. She was very patient and gave his space. Now the kids love her and are doing well with her. We are glad Mandy is here to help

About: I have had dogs for as long as I can remember and have been watching them for friends, family, and neighbors for about 7 years. I have a plentiful experience ranging from farm dogs that just need someone to make sure they are still there, to helping whelp four litters of kelpie pups till they were ready to go to their new homes! I love going on long walks and live two minutes from the walking trail so your fur babies can get plenty of exercise. I have a quite home and am well versed in giving senior care for your gray haired angels. I am currently working online so I have plenty of time to watch and care for your fur babies! I get up early in the mornings so times are never really a problem for me, I can come whenever is scheduled and work around from there. I have a fenced yard with about a quarter acre to run around in. Plenty of shade and a kiddie pool to splash around in. I have one very well trained and neutral/friendly dog in the house currently and one cat that is very dog savvy and knows to stay out of the way. I can easily crate if needed and live two minutes from the walking trails for easy exercise and care. I pride myself on leaving a home cleaner then I found it and having it appear that I was never there in the first place!

About: Note: I only sit animals that are up to date with vaccines and current on flea and tick prevention. I will sit any cat that isn’t aggressive with humans. I ONLY sit dogs that are KNOWN to be good with other dogs and cats unless they are under 6 months old (in that case, I am happy to help introduce them to my animals). I require clients to provide diapers/belly bands for male dogs due to the overwhelming majority of male dogs displaying marking behavior. This requirement may be waived for existing clients I have already sat for and know the dog does not mark. I have had animals my entire life. I have 4 dogs and 3 cats; one of the dogs is a stray who showed up at my house who I could not turn away. I truly have a heart for animals. All of my animals get along with each other and animals I sit through Rover as well as that I occasionally foster. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and personalities, including those that require extra attention and effort to make them comfortable. I have cared for senior cats and dogs, including at end of life stages. I am experienced in dispensing oral medications to both dogs and cats. I work from home full-time Monday-Friday with a flexible schedule and can give pets plenty of attention as well as potty breaks. Outside of work, I am a homebody and rarely leave my house, so your babies will have consistent attention and affection with me. I follow all rules provided by my clients and will ask for permission to give treats, food, chews, etc. that are not provided by owners as well for permission to take them off my property (pup cup, hiking, etc.). As a former law enforcement officer (a decade of public service experience), safety is always my priority, and I ensure that pets are handled safely and securely.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for over 7 years and have cared for dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I have many references from happy clients and treat every pet like they’re my own! I currently have a 70-pound American Pit Bull Terrier, a Corgi, and a cat, so I’m very comfortable caring for both large and small dogs as well as feline friends. I’m experienced with puppies, senior pets, and administering medications, and I’m happy to follow any special routines or care instructions. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, cuddles, medications, or extra patience and attention, I’m here to help. One of my favorite experiences was getting to bring a client’s dog to their wedding so they could be part of their special day. I love helping families create memories with their pets and am always happy to go the extra mile whenever I can! I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, so I pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and providing plenty of photo and video updates while you’re away. My goal is to make your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable until you’re back home. I’m a nanny, which means I make my own schedule and have a lot of flexibility throughout the day. I’m also a college student taking just six credit hours this semester, so I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your pets. I understand the importance of not overbooking myself, so I only accept bookings that allow me to give every pet the attention and care they deserve. If I’m not nannying, in class, or spending time with my own pets, you’ll probably find me visiting one of my furry clients! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I’ll care for your pets in the comfort of their own home, following their normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel safe and relaxed while you’re away. I’m comfortable administering medications, cleaning litter boxes, taking dogs on walks, feeding, playing, and providing plenty of love and attention. I’ll also keep you updated with lots of photos and messages, so you’ll always know how your pet is doing. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Alma

Emily was a lifesaver when my mom had a heart attack and I had to travel three hours away to take care of her. Emily came over the day before to get all the instructions and find out where everything is. She also took special care knowing that our dog was terrified of storms. And don’t you know, it stormed nearly every day. She texted me caring and thoughtful observations about my dog, and whether or not she was scared, excited, or just worn out. I will absolutely book Emily again for all my pets!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
