Because I work from home and intentionally keep my boarding capacity small, I'm able to provide plenty of companionship, supervision, exercise, and individual attention throughout the day. To help you feel connected while you're away, I provide regular photo and video updates throughout your dog's stay. Every boarding also concludes with a personalized summary of their meals, walks, potty habits, behavior, and overall experience, so you know exactly how their stay went. I share my home with Tully, my friendly, well-socialized Golden Retriever. Because this is his home too, I prioritize good matches and a calm, comfortable environment for both resident and visiting dogs. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. As a university instructor with a flexible schedule, I have the flexibility to provide frequent walks, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. I care for every dog as an individual, following their normal routine as closely as possible while providing regular photo updates and a personalized boarding summary at the end of each stay. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and well-being are my top priorities. I require proof of current rabies vaccination before boarding to help maintain a safe environment for every pet in my home. About: I LOVE all animals like they’re my babies💜. I have a safe fenced small back yard. It’s a passion of mine to be around your pets. As the the oldest of 5 much younger siblings and a former professional nanny, I am a natural caregiver! Now, I am an independent hairstylist that works for myself, and as an animal lover, I have naturally become many of my clients trusted go-to pet sitter, especially for in house vacation pet sitting. I am highly trained as a former animal foster (including the bottle babies that require so much attention and responsibility) and as a professional care giver. I also grew up with non-traditional critters including, but not limited to, hedgehogs, salamanders, iguanas, guinea pigs, gerbils, etc. so I’m cool with whatever you throw at me and very responsible! I follow YOUR rules and keep your babies safe and loved. I work for myself part time as a hairstylist. I make my own hours so it is very easy to not schedule on the days I am needed or to schedule large breaks in between. As a former nanny and elder millennial (lol) I am very responsible first! I always double check leashes, harnesses, doors, etc so you can leave your home feeling great with your guys in my hands. At my clients home, I very much like to follow their rules and instructions to the detail. I keep a photo and/or list of all instructions on my phone and a physical copy in my car. At my own home, I like to listen to what my clients feel comfortable with and follow that as discussed with them. I do like their pets to feel like I’m their loving grandma- they always get extra love and long walks when I come to see them!

About: I was raised with pets and have had a dog for over 30 years. Zara is my new sweetheart she's a shepherd husky mix and she's a year and a half old. I will only be dog sitting or dog boarding for ONE PUP at a time to give the utmost personalized attention.🐶♥️ I am retired and at this time I'm only offering drop off daycare and boarding Thursday through Sunday... We will only be outside in the cooler times of the day and can use the sprinkler if you allow. Your dog will be allowed on the couch and I am very good with giving specialized feeding as my dog has some healthy add-ons for her kibble daily. Again I will only be offering boarding and drop off dog sitting in my house... Thursday through Sunday personalized care for your dog only ♥️

“To say we were satisfied with the care Alyssa gave our little Max would be an understatement. We were camping in New Orleans and had events happening that would take us away from our motorhome for over 9 hours for a few days and did not think it wise to leave our small dog alone for so long so we needed to think of something. So for the first time we turned to the ROVER app. As this would be the first time we left our boy with a stranger we were very concerned but We had a meet and greet ahead of the actual dog sitting and it went so well …. we felt at ease right away with Alyssa and her own dog. Our Max and Alyssa’s Oliver hit it off right away … she is a wonderful person full of love, caring and is extremely pleasant. The second day we went to drop Max off he actually pulled me to her door and sat there waiting for her to open the door and when she did open the door he ran in as if he was home already. This experience was so wonderful. We are certain a big part of that has to do with how nice a person Alyssa is. Sending pictures throughout the days was an added bonus for us!
