About: I'm a stay at home mom with toddlers and pets of our own. I have 9 year old lab- shepherd mix and two male cats. All of my fur babies were adopted. I worked at a animal shelter and animal hospital so I know how to care and love your fur babies like if they were my own. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and they’ve always been my favorite kind of company. I’m patient and keep things calm and low-key. I only watch one dog at a time, so you can rest assured that I will treat your dog as if they were my own. Since I work remotely, your dog won’t be left alone much and will get attention throughout the day. I make sure to follow whatever routine helps your dog feel most comfortable. Happy to send you photos and updates throughout the day as well. I’m flexible with pickup and drop off times. I will be with your pup all day, and they’ll get plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s routine. If they’re a high energy dog, they’ll get long walks. If they’re a senior or low energy, I’ll take them on shorter walks or just let them sniff in the yard.

“Emily is absolutely AMAZING!!! I work in the area and don’t know anybody, here. I had an emergency situation come up and needed somebody to look after my 3 dogs for an ambiguous amount of time (I did not know if I was going to be looking at a daycare sitch or a multi-day stay.) I made a reservation and sent a message to Emily after midnight on a Thursday about coordinating for the next morning and she responded immediately!!! She really reeeeeeeally helped me out of a jam, and even came to pick my kids up for me so I could begin to address my situation right away, even though I am staying well out of her way! She is a doll, and her own pups are a hoot! I couldn’t recommend her more! While living and working on the road it is incredibly stressful to address the contingency where you may not be able to attend to your babies, my dogs and my cat are with me 100% of the time and I have often found myself fretting about what to do, should something happen to me. Emily swooped right in and put my mind well at ease so that I could address my own needs without the weight of worrying!”

About: I've cared for pets my whole life, including senior dogs and those needing medication. I love long walks and feel confident handling dogs of all sizes. Your pet will get all the love, attention, and care they deserve while you're away. I am currently a stay-at-home mother to a loving 2-year-old, so I will have plenty of time to play with and care for your pups! I am available for boarding any day of the week as well as overnights. I have a fenced in yard and a friendly 2-year-old Goldendoodle. We enjoy walks and are happy to take your pup with us! About: We are a small family with a super friendly lab-hound mix named Charlie. Charlie loves to play with other dogs and is generous with his space and toys. Our six-year-old daughter loves meeting new animals, too. Our home is fenced all around so the dogs have a circle run as well as the backyard and front porch to play and relax. We travel and have used Rover for our dog and we’re happy to be on the other side hosting and caring for your pet. I have volunteer experience with multiple animal shelters and experience caring for both healthy pets and animals with special needs. The other side of our double shotgun is currently unoccupied so we have additional space to separate dogs if need be.

“It can be hard to find sitters willing to help with challenging dogs, and I have a very sweet pup who, unfortunately, has some separation anxiety that means she can’t be left home alone at this point. Julia agreed to watch her for some daycare while my husband and I attended a family birthday party, and she also was great about setting up a Meet and Greet about a week beforehand so that Sable could be introduced to Julia and her own pups. Julia sent pictures and updates while we were away, and I appreciated her honesty when I asked how Sable did. It seems as though Sable was only mildly embarrassing and didn’t put Julia through too much hassle, so I’m very grateful to have someone trustworthy and kind to leave my pup with! About: After a tragically pet-free childhood, I've spent the last 20 years seeking out any opportunity to care for animals—from free dog walking for friends and cat-sitting for vacationing pals to hiking with hounds and being a designated vet chauffeur. I love exploring the outdoors with a dog, chucking sticks across empty fields, and praising them for every "good stretch"! I do everything I can to make pet parents feel comfortable and assured when they leave their furry friends in my care—including plenty of photos and updates! I work from home as a writer/editor and a live-edge woodworker, so my schedule is entirely flexible and under my control. I have a fenced-in backyard with ample shade where I often write and work, so outside time is always available for the animals I care for. I love walking the city and wandering through green spaces, especially Audubon Park and City Park, and having a puppy pal to accompany me makes it even more enjoyable. My interior home space is approximately 1,800 square feet, with multiple couches and rooms and sunspots for dogs and/or cats to relax and lounge. The fenced-in backyard is well-secured with a 6-foot fence for stress-free bathroom breaks, and my active lifestyle takes me on at least 2 longer walks each day, typically in the morning and evening. At a client's home, I pride myself on being highly adaptable to new routines and expectations, and my career as an editor makes me very attentive to details, e.g., medication needs, feeding times, sleep schedules, walk durations, etc. Whether you need someone to pop in and play with your pooch for an hour, or leave your animal at my home for a longer trip, you can rest assured they will be cared for, loved and pampered in a safe and comfortable environment.
