I have been taught from an early age to respect everyone, everyone comes from a different background. That includes animals of all shapes and sizes, animals have a way to make people happy and I love being around them for that reason.

About: I have a genuine love for animals. I proudly volunteer at the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin, where I’ve worked with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. My neighbors, family, and friends have trusted me with watching their animals while they are away, I have taken care of animals from the size of a Chihuahua to the size of an Irish wolfhound. I also have previously owned a pitbull mix, and now own a German Shepherd and Husky. I have worked at 4 different doggy daycares so I am well versed in taking care of all breeds of dogs. Currently my only job is pet sitting so I am free every day of the week to take care of your animals, unless of course I already have a job going on for that week Whenever I am watching someone's animal in their home I make sure to constantly play with the dog, make sure they go outside often, and make sure that animal is happy while I am there.

About: I'm currently in school for my RN. I have worked in Hospice for a few years now, and for awhile I provided doggy hospice for my last pup (Callie) that passed in January of 2022, she was with me almost 17 years. I now have a crazyyyy puppy. I live less than 5 minutes from my job so my pup gets a lot of my time. I do work around 2-4 days a week so I'm looking to fill my free time with more pups and I know my puppy is craving someone to play with. Each dog I care for is cared for in different ways, no care is the same. Some are very high energy and require time and patience. Others are more timid and don't need as much couching.

About: I frequently pet sit for my both my sisters and parents animals. One was a siberian husky, another is a dachsund/terrier mix and the others were a mixed hound breed and a poodle/bichon frise. I also petsit and did overnight visits with a previous professors golden retriever and golden/Irish setter mix. I own a small mixed breed dog (similar to a Jack russell)Russell, and grew up with a Brittany Spaniel and a West Highland White Terrier. I also have frequent contact with my boyfriends parents dogs: a dachshund, and a cattle dog. I work part-time currently, and am scheduled Wed, Thurs, and Fri, and the occasional Saturday. I am available Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday all day, and mornings on Wed, and Thurs. I currently live in a condo so my small dog is ideal for the space. Since my dog is reactive to other dogs, I would be doing only clients homes overnights, visits, and walks.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always take the time to understand your pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs to ensure they feel secure and at ease. About: I have had pets my entire life, and have been around friends and family who do as well. I grew up with a dog and multiple cats so I have experience caring for both dogs and cats. I have also recently found an interest in visiting animals at the shelter and gently connecting with them where they’re at and giving them the love they deserve in their own individual way. I value how every animal is very unique and enjoy getting to spend time with and understand them. I currently have some part time things going on, but multiple times a week I can fit in time for pet care including time on the weekends. At this point I won’t be able to care for pets in my home. But I am responsible and trustworthy, and can follow directions and ask follow up questions should there be any-trying my best to provide the most honest and authentic pet care as possible.

Amanda L.
“Amanda moved in with us and our fur babies a few years ago, and we adore all three of them. She has such a gentle touch when handling our cats and is always loving on them even when they are stinkers. Our two cats have welcomed her into our home just as we have and have added Amanda to their human list of making morning and evening rounds of the house to make sure everyone is safe. I feel Amanda would provide a loving and nurturing environment when she cares for any animal, which is why she is best suited for Rover.com and its clients.”
