“Our 15 month old Maltipoo had never spent a night apart from us and had limited interaction with other dogs. We had a need for an overnight stay and decided to try Rover which led us to Emily and Thomas as they lived close by. We are so very thankful that we found them! They spent three days in a week leading up to the stay having Charlie come over for walks and spent time inside their place trying to get him used to a new environment. They were so patient with him and so kind to him. They sent pictures and videos to help reassure us that he was doing well. About: I've been a dog owner for as long as I can remember. I currently have one nine year old Chihuahua mix on seizure medicine twice a day. We have a fenced in yard with a chain link fence perfect for letting your dog run around. I am usually up by 5am to go for a run or cycle. I work from home regularly so I can be flexible with letting the dogs out. I have a fenced in yard with one friendly dog of my own to keep your dog company. I have cameras in the home to keep an eye on the pups if I do need to run out.
“Sully had his first weekend with Rachel and family this past weekend! Prior to the arrival, she was very responsive and asked all the right questions to make sure Sully was a match for her family. We also did a meet and greet before to make sure it was a good fit. She posted daily updates on her Facebook page that truly showed the smile on our dogs face. They’re fenced in yard with a little blue is perfect for multiple doggies. He had the best weekend. He is still sleeping almost after 24 hours of picking him up. A tired dog is a happy dog. ;) We most definitely we contact Rachel for future overnight needs. She took great care of him and we are truly grateful for that!!”

“Kaitlyn was wonderful. Went over Jensen's history was provided a tour of her home, very clean and definitely set up to welcome dogs. The report card was spot on with what we expected. Provided a calm environment to welcome a puppy who has been through a lot in her short life. When we got home, she acted normal. With our previous dogs we boarded at kennels but felt the need to try something different with a puppy that spent most of her life at a shelter. Our dogs would be wiped out when they came back home. So far not seeing any of that from her stay with Kaitlyn.”

Throughout our days of doggy daycare, we received updates and pictures and video of our Piper enjoying her stay and new friends, and at the end of each day, we received a very happy (and very ready-to-go-home-and-nap) dog. We used her back-to-back for two days, and Piper recognized she was going got another visit on Day 2 when we turned down Brandi's road, and immediately started crying excitedly in anticipation, all but pulling me out of the car when we opened the door! It's a shame we're not closer to Janesville for regular use of booking, but if we're ever needing to go through the area en route to our destinations, Brandi will be our first choice for daycare or boarding.”

I usually take him on walks mornings, midday, and evening time and in the summer I only give him a walk in the evening because he’s a Husky and it gets too hot for him during the day. Evenings are best time for him. I try to take him to the dog park at least a couple times a week, so you can count on your pup having some one on one time with another pup and having LOTS of fun. One of the most meaningful experiences I've had was adopting a 12-year-old cat that developed chronic kidney disease (CKD). I cared for her through nearly four years of treatment, managing medications, hydration, appetite, weight, and daily routines until she passed away just shy of her 16th birthday. That experience taught me the importance of careful observation, consistency, and recognizing subtle changes in behavior that can indicate something isn't right. I also have experience caring for a Yorkshire Terrier and understand the unique needs of toy breeds, including their size, energy, and safety considerations. Several family members and friends have larger dogs that I take on walks and care for when they're away. My goal is always to care for your pets the way I would want someone to care for my own. Pet sitting fits well into my schedule, allowing me to provide reliable, attentive care while maintaining flexibility. I currently offer overnight house sitting, typically from approximately 7:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m., when many pets appreciate the comfort of having someone with them overnight. During the day, I may have other work or personal commitments depending on the booking, but I always communicate my schedule in advance so expectations are clear. I strive to keep pets on their normal routines for meals, potty breaks, playtime, medications, and companionship while respecting the schedule that works best for each household. I understand how important consistency is for animals, especially seniors or pets with medical needs, and I do my best to minimize disruptions to their daily routine. I am able to pick up your animal and drop them off for an additional fee ($10 / day). When caring for pets in a client's home, my priority is maintaining the environment and routines they already know. I carefully follow your instructions for feeding, medications, walks, exercise, household rules, and any special care your pet requires. I take time to build trust with each animal, allowing shy or anxious pets to become comfortable at their own pace. Safety is extremely important to me. I pay close attention during walks, keep doors and gates secure, monitor pets for changes in behavior or health, and never hesitate to contact an owner if I have a question or concern. I also treat every home with the same respect I would expect someone to show mine, keeping it clean, secure, and well cared for during your absence. Communication is a key part of my service. You can expect regular updates and photos so you know how your pets are doing and can have peace of mind while you're away.
About: I have experience caring for a variety of pets with different needs and routines. I have taken care of a 1-year-old cat along with 3 other adult cats, including a cat who required at least 30 minutes of playtime and interaction every day. I have also cared for a large dog who ate home-cooked soup mixed with his food at specific feeding times, as well as a husky who stayed in an air-conditioned dog house unit and required daily vitamins and attentive care. I am good at following direction for the desired care you and your pet need. I work remotely and any activities I plan I would plan around a schedule if at all with the pet in mind. I will plan in advance for the openings I have in my schedule to permit me to be with the pet. I typically stay in the pets home to create a less stressful environment for the pet and go about its daily routine as instructed by the pet owner. I will stay as long as required by the pet owner or stay in a guest bedroom all day depending on what makes the pet owner most comfortable with.

About: I have an 8 year old coonhound named Trigger. He is the light of my life. I love to care for family and friends dogs in my free time. I work 50% from home and 50% in the office.
