About: Hello! Thank you for viewing my profile. I have volunteered working with animals and have taken care of my own pets (dog cats and fish) for 12 years now. I can meet the vibe of most animals whether they are laid back and quiet or hyper and ready to go! All animals deserve respect and patience, and I provide these when working with new animals. I have bottle fed kittens and taken care of sick animals. Our pets are our family and I treat every new pet as a new friend! Most of my free time is on the weekends but I have no problem popping in on your fur baby! Walks, cuddles, food and treat time even a good snooze! Whatever they need, I am happy to assist with! I am always respectful of a client's home, as someone who has experience working as an Operations Manager for children with Autism, I have always been sensitive to the needs of others. I will ask questions and gather information for clarification on your furry friend's needs and review a schedule with you before getting started!

About: I am a lover of all animals and have cared for many throughout my years. I am a pet parent of a beautiful pit who's a year and a half old and full of love and energy. When it comes to sitting for other I treat them with the same patience and care as I do with my own My schedule is fairly open, since I am a jeweler and afterschool arts and crafts teacher, so my mornings and evenings are very flexible durning the week. Weekends are on the busier side but let me know a week and a half in advance and I can make the time Being an artist I am very much about the details, I love to know your pets eating routines/schedule, medication(if applicable), how long of a walk to go for, their favorite toy, and type of play. I am also very vigilant to ensure safety for your pet the way I would my own.

“Kamron is fantastic! This is the 2nd time I’ve used him. He is very reliable, a great communicator, and responsible. I have 2 cats - one is very friendly and the other is not good with strangers. However from the first time he took care of the cats, both cats took to him right away. I highly recommend Kamron.”

About: I'm a nurse, I'll take good care of your fur kids. I have I lifetime of experience caring for animals, both my own and for others. I am new here on Rover. I work from home here on the farm. I am able to be with your dog or cat much of the day. Even if they are staying alone in the spare bedroom, that's my office too! So they will get to be my assistant. We have a fenced in yard, and a whole bunch of woods for walking. We have a horse and a donkey, chickens, cats and a dog. Incoming first time lodgers must come in advance of boarding and meet the animals to see how they get along. I have an extra bedroom that can be used for boarders if they need some space of their own, or they are welcome to sleep in my room or living room, or in their own room with they bring their crate.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life, including dogs and cats, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I’ve also been the primary caregiver for my 12-year-old dog, Lola, for years. From keeping up with her daily routine and making sure she’s happy and comfortable to giving her plenty of love and attention, caring for Lola has given me years of hands-on experience and a deep understanding of how much our pets mean to us. I’ll treat your pets with the same care, patience, and love that I give my own. 🐾💕 I work part-time, so pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I have flexibility throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, and check-ins, and I’m able to work around my schedule to give pets the time and attention they need. I always make sure pets are in a safe, comfortable, and supervised environment. In a client’s home, I follow their instructions and keep their pet’s routine as consistent as possible. I’m respectful of their home and make sure doors, gates, and pets are secure. Most importantly, I give each pet plenty of attention, patience, and care so they feel happy and comfortable while you’re away.

About: My preferred name is Leo. I've been caring for animals for most of my life. Growing up, I was responsible for helping care for three family dogs, including feeding, walking, playing with them, and making sure they were happy and well cared for. I also grew up around cats, as my mom had several throughout the years, so I'm very comfortable caring for cats of all ages and personalities. Today, I have a cat of my own, so I understand the daily responsibility and attention that pets need. I'm patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Whether your pet needs exercise, playtime, companionship, or simply someone to keep them safe and comfortable while you're away, I'll treat them with the same love and care I give my own pets. My schedule is very flexible, and I'm available seven days a week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and overnight stays. I work on my own schedule, so I can usually accommodate last-minute bookings as well. Whether you need someone for a quick check-in, daily visits, overnight care, or extended pet sitting, I'll do my best to be there whenever you need reliable care for your pet. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I keep my home clean, organized, and pet-friendly. I currently care for my own cat, who is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and well loved. I make sure all of my houseplants are non-toxic to pets, keep anything potentially dangerous out of reach, and provide plenty of toys, enrichment, and a cat tree for play and relaxation. I'm attentive to each pet's individual needs and always make sure they have fresh food and water, a clean space, exercise, affection, and plenty of attention. I also have experience helping cats socialize through supervised playdates with friends' cats, so I understand how to create a calm, safe, and positive environment. I'll care for your pet with the same love and attention I give my own.

About: I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals over the years, including dogs and cats. Having grown up around animals myself, I understand how difficult it can be for pets when their owners are away. My goal is to make sure they feel loved, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re on vacation, and I’ll give them plenty of attention, affection, and care until you return. I am currently a college kid home for the summer. With that being said I have a completely open schedule right now until I head back in the fall! I care for every pet as if they were my own. I make sure they stay on their normal routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any medications if needed. I also provide plenty of attention, affection, and exercise based on each pet’s individual needs and personality. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all care instructions to help pets feel comfortable and stress-free while their family is away. I always send updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind knowing their pets are happy and well cared for.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my genuine love for animals and the care, patience, and attention I give each one. I believe pets are family, and I want every animal in my care to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and understood. I enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality, respecting their routines, and making sure they receive the attention and affection they deserve. I have experience working with Rover, and I understand the importance of being dependable, communicating with pet parents, and treating every pet as if they were my own. Whether caring for an energetic puppy, helping a senior pet feel comfortable, or giving a shy animal time to warm up to me, I approach every experience with compassion and a willingness to learn. My goal is to give pet parents peace of mind while making sure their furry family members feel happy, loved, and well cared for. I currently work a morning job with a hybrid schedule, which gives me some flexibility throughout the week. My afternoons and evenings are generally pretty open, making it easier for me to schedule pet care, walks, drop-ins, and quality time with animals. I enjoy being around animals, so pet sitting is something I would love to incorporate into my routine. I’m happy to communicate with pet parents ahead of time to coordinate schedules and make sure their pets receive consistent, attentive, and loving care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their familiar environment. I follow their usual routines for feeding, walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, and any special instructions provided by their owner. I also make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and patience while respecting their individual personalities and boundaries. I understand how important it is for pet parents to feel comfortable leaving their fur babies in someone else’s care, so I believe in providing regular updates and photos for peace of mind. My goal is to treat every pet with the same love and consideration I would give my own while keeping their environment clean, safe, and stress-free.

Betty took great care of our two cats. She also did a great job communicating, letting us know if she was going to be a bit late to a check-in and even sending pictures of proof of cleaning the litter boxes 🙂. She also made friends with our less social cat, which was wonderful to see!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
