“Amanda was great. Very communicative and sent me pictures of the pups having fun throughout our trip so that we knew they were taken care of. We had multiple dogs with different medication schedules and Amanda made sure she knew who was getting what and when and made sure that all had their medications administered properly. Will definitely book again!”

10. Calian M.
“Calian was a.m.a.z.i.n.g. 10/10 recommend booking for any pup-sitting needs! She stayed with our crew while my hubs and I were out of state for a wedding. Calian ensured they were well-loved and cared for while we were away. If there were any questions or concerns, she was quick to handle them or shoot me a text with anything she needed (which really wasn’t a lot; she’s very capable!). We also received several pictures and videos throughout her stay. She went above and beyond expectations as she left our home as well. In addition to making sure the pups were cared for (dinner/meds/water) as we were coming in late that evening, she tossed the linens in the wash and dishes in the dishwasher, and completed a few more housekeeping items. Definitely not expected, but very much so appreciated. We (and the pups) loved having Calian stay with us and would love to book her again for any pup-sitting needs!”

14. Shawnee M.
“Shawnee did an excellent job house sitting & watching our girl Missy during our vacation. This was our first time using Rover, so we weren’t sure of what to expect. But, we were absolutely thrilled knowing that Missy was well taken care of & loved while we were away. She went above & beyond to help care for Missy, and she also took excellent care of the house too! 100% would recommend!”

16. Alyssa W.
About: I have taken care of animals since I was 14! I worked at a boarding facility for 3 years back home prior to relocating for college. Before starting at the kennel I helped out my mom (RVT) with pet sitting for about a year in my spare time. While working at the kennel I was trained how to give medication orally and by injection, I am also trained to give insulin as well a fluids. I have no problem monitoring urinary and stool outputs as needed for animals health and safety. I currently have 4 dogs back home who I have helped to train from 8 weeks old to adulthood. While working at the kennel I also learned how to stick to a training schedules owners may have had for younger puppies while they were out of town. I have taken care of senior dogs that may have needed complex or large quantities of medications, as well as helping them move around as they need or if they have a waist support sling. Lastly I am trained in minor post operation care such as putting antibiotic ointment on an incision site and replacing the dressing covering it, as well as making sure they can’t lick or scratch at their incision site. I have been wanting to get back into animal care for a while now and I’m so glad I’ll get to know and help to care for more animals! As mentioned before I am a college student, I did not mention that I am a collegiate athlete as well, however our practices end at 5pm and and my latest class only goes to 7:15pm we have no practice on the weekends so I have extra availability then. During the week I have availability in between classes to stop by and let out animals for a little and play with them a bit. I did a similar thing in high school as I was a student athlete then too and pet sitting as well as working at the kennel so I have gotten really good at time management. I also have helped teammates and friends out with their petsitting to see if it would fit will with my schedule and it does. At my home and at my clients homes I feel that it is important to spend time with the animals and keep them company. I feel it is also important to keep up with training and potty schedules so it can be as close to their routine as possible for the animals so they don’t pick up and bad habits while their owners can’t be with them. At my house we play with our dogs a lot because most of them are playful, but we have one dog that is older and she doesn’t like to play as much as just take naps and get good scratches behind her ears. I believe that it is important to understand what the animals thinks is fun and what they want to do. If they want to play fetch and they can then it’s important to let them have that fun time, however if they would prefer to nap and get good cuddles then it’s important to give them that as well. Lastly I believe that while at a clients house it is important to leave all parts to the house looking as clean, if not cleaner then when you got there, as that is what I would want for my household as well.

About: I have 2 high energy dogs, one is 10 years old and the other is 10 weeks! I trained my older dog when we got him. I groom my dogs and clip their nails. I am a part time graduate student and have a lot of time to watch your pets! I am a home body and have plenty of time for every animal! 19. Riley P.
About: I am an experienced Kennel Assistant as well as a past Vet Tech student. The skills I have gained throughout the years include medicating (pills & liquid), bottle feeding, grooming, proper husbandry, understanding body language, walking animals on a leash, feeding and watering of course! I am an online college student so I am available 7 days a week. I try to keep my calendar updated to make sure my availability is up to date! There’s no better place than home. It would be more sufficient if I were to stay at the clients home being I have 4 dogs and 4 cats at my home.
20. Mckenna M.
About: I work full time mon-Fri so potty breaks will be longer those days. I am available every weekend all day Saturday and Sunday so I could be with your dog the majority of the time. I have a fenced in back yard so if they are staying here they will have full roam. I have experience working with aggressive dogs and would love to hang with your doggos no matter their temperament. My own dog is reactive to some so I am prepared to handle anybody! I have experience with senior dogs as well as I cared for my own childhood dog before he died. I ADORE cats and have lived with them all my life so I am happy to care for them as well. I am picky about the care my animals get so I understand the details that may be important to you. I also have experience caring for small animals, rabbits, birds, fish, and reptiles! Just let me know how to help! I do work full time 9-5 Mon-Fri however after hours and before if needed I am available the whole time. I work in Charlotte so if close to there I can try and fit in a walk on my lunch break. I have a fenced in back yard so they will have full roam here. I do ask they be crated here for the comfort of my 3 cats and in case they don’t get along with dogs. My worst fear is a dog getting out on my watch so I’m extra careful if I’m at your house.
